The day had been relatively uneventful for the little Flutter. Her adoptive mother and sister had dragged her all over the valley today it seemed. Which to be honest was rather boring. They had been looking for flower patches so they could get some new accessories for their hair.
Anacostia didn’t care about hair.
Sometimes she wished she had friends. Well maybe just one friend. One good friend that she could share adventures and secrets with. Who would play with her everyday. That way she would be too busy to get dragged off “flower shopping”
The little Flutter filly sighed as she poked her nose out between the petals of the flower she had chosen to rest in for the night. She liked this flower. It gave her a good view of the pond where frogs would gather around to sing and fireflies danced on its surface. Their faint glow reflecting softly off it’s glassy surface.
