Baali, Nosferatu, and Daeva Embracings!

I'm so sorry everyone I had ideas for all three of these clans for embracings but I've been horribly sick all month (still am) but I don't want people to miss out on these great clans! So we're doing this the low-energy way.

Daeva Clan thread

Daeva. She likes to embrace for beauty or because there was something interesting about the kat, some sort of passion that they have. Daeva in general are varied in interests and slaves to their vices, which can be anything! An embracing event would involve a massive party at their mansion where each level of the building caters to different vices, from drugs and gambling to fight clubs or high-brow parties. Everything can be found here.



Baali - he's the Methuselah. He's a big fan of The Pit. He looks for strength and worthiness to be in the clan. Occult interests and demon worship a plus. Likely he would have snatched candidates and taken them to the pit. He drains the kat and throws them in. There's a bunch of corpses and inside the heart of one is Moloch's blood - the only way to survive the ordeal is to choose vampirism. And find the blood before you die.



Nosferatu - upgraded to Meth. She likes to destroy beauty (cleopatra-type embracings). She also likes to target the wretched and downtrodden. She is Galloi bloodline so there is a chance your kat will be too! Nosferatu use the sewers to get around and likely would snatch your kat off the street or if they wandered into the sewer for some reason they can become prey.

Who is applying:
Why do they fit the clan? Shes adorable and is obsessed with her work, which is cleaning serving others which makes her perfect for tending to the high society parties.
What draws you (the user) to this clan in particular? They just seem like a lot of fun.
How will your character react to their new life? Shes was offered a job doing what she loves for a very lovely place so shes just as happy maybe even more then she was in life, taking care and leading the serving staff for events and also getting rid of any unwanted 'thrash' from said events.

How will your character react to their new life? Shes was offered a job doing what she loves for a very lovely place so shes just as happy maybe even more then she was in life, taking care and leading the serving staff for events and also getting rid of any unwanted 'thrash' from said events.

Michi's excellent service didn't go unnoticed in the Daeva compound. The high society parties have become legendary among mortals and vampires alike and most ascribe the success to the staff, in particular Michi who goes about her business with nearly-obsessive drive. Because of this Ishtar decided to give her a "promotion" both in her job, as now she is head of all staff operations, but also in life as she is now an immortal!


Congrats! She will start as a fledgling. She's most welcome in the clan!

Which clan are you trying for: Daeva
Who is applying:
Why do they fit the clan? Rigel exists to tempt others and be tempted. His casual elegance, charisma, and hedonism seem befitting of the clan.
What draws you (the user) to this clan in particular? Well, it's one of my favorite clans. I love the characters involved and I feel particularly attached to it, having one of the ranking members within Daeva. Ishtar and Shamhat's story is admittedly a compelling reason, as is the future Enkidu and Gilgamesh arc.
How will your character react to their new life? More than likely, like a fish who just discovered water. It would be a seamless transition for Rigel, who could probably pass for a Daeva on a good day. What would be most interesting for him would be suddenly having something akin to a family, which he certainly does not have now.

While his powers of persuasion did not work on the female, as she has a preferred consort already, she did happen to notice him at several of their parties. He seemed at home among the throngs of different people and seemed very able to flit from social group to social group as he wished. Ishtar was impressed with him and perhaps even saw a little of herself in him. So one night she decided to promote him from mortal to immortal. "You belong here with us," she said charmingly before draining him of blood. "I expect great things of you" she whispered as she gave her own blood to him to bring him new life.

Which clan are you trying for: Daeva
Who is applying:
Why do they fit the clan? Lacile oozes delicate elegance both as a person and in her work which she is passionate about. But even more than the lace she creates, Lacile is obsessed with rubbing elbows with the powerful and beautiful. She wants what the upper classes have and she's not afraid to do what it takes to be one of the elite.
What draws you (the user) to this clan in particular? I just think the Daeva are neat. They are one of my favorite clans.
How will your character react to their new life? Wait, she can stay young and beautiful for the rest of time AND finally hobnob with the powerful? Lacile fails to see the downside here.

Ishtar noticed the grasping nature of Lacile but also saw the potential within her. On a whim she turned the other female, bringing in another artisan to the fold.

Why do they fit the clan? If Vei was in an anime, he would be a stereotypical bishōnen. He seems like an aloof very masculine male complete with the deep voice. His aura is unintentional and he doesn't realize just how many people are attracted to him. To the outside eye, it seems like he's popular and his actions are designed to purposely tempt others. While he doesn't do it on purpose, that doesn't mean he's completely ignorant of the wanting.
What draws you (the user) to this clan in particular? I have a Daeva member already and a penchant for RPing sultry characters easily
How will your character react to their new life? Vei will be confused at first before realizing how people have viewed him. He'll take advantage of their longing to be able to feed. There may be a little guilt the first couple times, but he'll quickly overcome it as his vice of needing the fawning attention takes over. He will master making his moves seem unintentional like they previously were given enough time. Until then he'll stay close to the other Daeva so has to not be obvious that something's changed.

The boy was a little unsure but he very much had a Presence that Ishtar could not deny. She decided to take the male under her wing and embrace him and bring him into the fold. She could use a male counterpoint to her own sexual energies. She was sure he'd make a good addition to the clan.

What draws you (the user) to this clan in particular? Someplace that throws the best parties and where she can play as many games as she’d like? Who could resist?
How will your character react to their new life? Fausta would take the offer, just like any other job to deal for parties but finds herself addicted to the environment. Being an expert at most if not all card games, she’d play any needed of her and keep a close eye on those that would ‘cheat’ during her games, mostly those who don’t hide it well enough from their fellow card table mates.

Why do they fit the clan? Fausta can wheel and deal with the best. She enjoys a good game with high risks and even greater pay off. She loves a devoted audience when it comes to dealing games.
What draws you (the user) to this clan in particular? Someplace that throws the best parties and where she can play as many games as she’d like? Who could resist?
How will your character react to their new life? Fausta would take the offer, just like any other job to deal for parties but finds herself addicted to the environment. Being an expert at most if not all card games, she’d play any needed of her and keep a close eye on those that would ‘cheat’ during her games, mostly those who don’t hide it well enough from their fellow card table mates.

Ishtar enjoyed walking the various floors of the massive mansion, checking in on the operations of all of the themed floors to make sure all is running smoothly. Fausta caught her eye with her cleverness and passion for games of chance. Ishtar decided to turn her and offer her the position of Pit Boss in the gambling rooms, putting her in charge of the mortal employees and tasked with keeping cheaters out - however the new fledgling wanted to take care of them.

Why do they fit the clan? He is confident about himself and his assets and he is not afraid to use it to get what he wants. He is strong-willed and persistent and likes to socialize and fraternize with those around him. He likes to sleep around with everyone that he encounters, not one to be tied down to one being and likes to spread his love all around.
What draws you (the user) to this clan in particular? it seems like it would be an interesting interaction and probably a fun one.
How will your character react to their new life? With enthusiasm it gives him a chance to develop relationships and turn them into something that can help him reach his full potential and learn new things a different way from the cookie-cutter lifestyle.

Ishtar noticed the male in her parties now and again and decided she could use more males counterpointing her own lustful behavior and decided to turn him on a whim. After all, they're going to need numbers for what's ahead. When the embrace was done she simply smiled at the male. "You belong to the Daeva now, Childe. Welcome home."

Who is applying:
Why do they fit the clan? Touye is manipulative, cruel, and violent, but she is also clever and patient. She is a lover of dark arts and dark ways, and will be quite excited to find new magic to play with.
What draws you (the user) to this clan in particular? I don't have one and I think they're ******** up and fascinating. TO THE PIT.
How will your character react to their new life? With enthusiasm. Given access to all sorts of new, horrifying occult knowledge, Touye will eagerly dedicate herself to learning as much as she possibly can, and throw herself into advancing whatever nasty little plans she can start weaving. let her go, allow her to do her dark bidding upon the world.
