8th April 2024 - 28th April 2024 One Day Auto-Hit or Auto-Recover
The following match is scheduled for one fall and it is for the WWFG European Championship!
The special guest referee for this match is Rosario.
European Championship Rules A European Championship Match must be held under the rules for wrestling based on the English World Of Sport Pro Wrestling style of catch wrestling, which favors grappling and submission holds.
The matches are divided into five rounds of five minutes (two pages) each, with a one minute (One post each) break between rounds. Each round must start with a lock-up. The wrestlers can win by pinfall, submission, knockout, technical knockout or disqualification. If a wrestler is knocked down, he has ten seconds to get to his feet or it will be classed as a knock out loss. A technical knockout is if the wrestler is deemed unfit to continue. The matches usually went to two out of three falls or submissions.
Some of the rules that the wrestlers had to follow were:
No biting, gouging, hair-pulling, or low blows. No striking with closed fists, elbows, knees, or feet. No choking, strangling, or suffocating. No full nelsons, neck cranks, or spinal locks. No throwing or slamming the opponent outside the ring or onto the floor. No interfering with the ropes or the referee. No leaving the ring for more than 10 seconds. No using foreign objects or weapons.
If a wrestler broke any of these rules, they would receive a public warning from the referee. If they received three public warnings, they would be disqualified and lose the match.
A count-out, low-blow, attacking the referee and using a weapon are instant disqualifications.

Left Alone by Zero 9:36 would hit the PA System.
Finally it was time for the European Championship to be brought to Wrestlemania for the first defense of its existence since it had been brought back. And what a better way to have it defended, then by Cartwright defending it against his biggest rival, Trent.
The rules were simple. But knowing the two men, it will be very interesting to see how long those two can follow the rules, if they can even do that! Their last match being an explosive death match.
Trent would emerge from the stage, wearing his apex leather jacket and wearing his normal ring gear. Approaching the ring.
"Introducing at this time, he is the challenger. From St. Paul, Minnesota! Weighing in tonight at 246 lbs. He is the INITIATOR! TREEEEENT!?"
Trent would make his way down the ramp. Excited, anxious, and everything in between. Because not only was it Wrestlemania, but Trent was once again facing off against Cartwright for a title that he feels inclined to bring to Apex. With all the other issues going on, he needs to zero in. Maybe putting the pieces back together that were falling apart.
Trent would make it to ringside. Climbing the steps and entering the ring through the top and middle rope as he awaited the champion to make his entrance!

As Cigaro by System Of A Down reverberated through the arena, a mix of anticipation and disapproval filled the air.
The fans couldn't help but voice their displeasure as Cartwright made his grand entrance.
Dressed in his wrestling attire of wrestling tights with the English flag on them and white wrestling boots, he exuded an air of confidence that was hard to ignore.
♫My c**k is much bigger than yours, My c**k can walk right through the door With a feeling so pure. It's got you screaming back for more.
Cool, in denial We're the cruel regulators smoking CIGARO CIGARO CIGAR Cool, in denial We're the cruel regulators smoking CIGARO CIGARO CIGAR♫
The crowd's boos seemed to fuel Cartwright's determination as he made his way to the ring.
He reveled in the hostility, knowing that he thrived under pressure.
The spotlight followed him, casting a dramatic glow on his intense gaze.
As the music reached its crescendo, Howard Finkel, the ring announcer, took center stage.
His voice echoed throughout the arena, adding to the electric atmosphere.
"Ladies and gentlemen, his opponent, The Owner of the World Wrestling Federation Guild and the WWFG European Champion, he is CAAAARTWRIIIIGHT!"
Cartwright stood tall, absorbing the energy of the moment.
Cartwright makes his way in to the ring by climbing the steel steps and going through the top and middle rope.
Cartwright barks at a member of the ringside crew for a microphone, which he swiftly receives as his theme music fades-out.
Cartwright: "Please give a warm welcome to the special guest referee, Rosario!"
The crowd loudly boos, showing no appreciation for Cartwright's hand picked referee.
Cartwright: "That wasn't very welcoming! I trust Rosario to call this match as he would any other, straight down the middle!"
Cartwright looks at Trent, who is at the other side of the ring.
Cartwright: "Trent, you just keep coming back for more punishment, but that's OK because I am happy to dish it out. Prepare to be taught a lesson in mat wrestling from The Beeeest WWFG European Champion of all time! If I was you, I would give up now!"

Trent would happen to show a grin. Cartwright continued to talk after all this time, knowing what Trent has become since their last confrontation.
All that was left for Rosario to show and the bell to ring for Trent to finally shut the loud mouth and take the gold off of the boss.

The special guest referee, Rosario, takes the WWFG European Championship from The Boss, raising it in the air for all to see with both hands, then gives it to the time keeper.
Rosario does his best Bubba Ray Dudley impression, shouting DING DING DING which is followed by the actual ring bell sounding, getting a huge pop from Cartwright.
Cartwright obeys the World Of Sport rules by offering his challenger a lock-up, no funny business and no tricks!

Trent would give a brief stare after the bell, before going in to accept the lock-up. This match was not a battle of strength, but Trent did want to showcase the power that Trent did possess by pushing forward and forcing Cartwright to begin stepping back

Trent uses his power to begin pushing Cartwright back, which he doesn't like as it hurts his ego.
Cartwright would try to resist but it isn't working out, so The Boss attempts to change positioning and put a side headlock on to Trent!

Cartwright would understand he was fighting a losing battle with the showcase of power, as he would slip Trent into the headlock.
Trent, who normally would go for the ropes and go for a bump, now had to find a way to sneak out of this hold without slamming Cartwright. But first, he needed to loosen the hold in order to counter, while not putting himself into a position that would put him at a disadvantage.
A lot more thinking going into this match, but Trent was not a technical slouch by any means and has had some technical bouts in the past that have given him enough experience to contest with the European Champion at his own rules.
With all of that internal thought and strategy, all it would equate to would be Trent pushing his head and body closer into Cartwright, while bringing his hands on the wrist of Cartwright to try and separate the hold.

Trent gets a hold of Cartwright's right wrist, his hands clamped together under the challengers chin, and begins using his power to separate Cartwright's hands to break the hold!
The Boss has to consider what Trent can do with this wrist control and think on his feet about what to do about whatever Trent decides to do with this position!

The grip was loosening, Trent would continue to push his body into Cartwright while pushing his arms out against the wrist of Cartwright in order to finally get out of the hold.
Once the hold broke, Trent would look to maintain the grasp of Cartwright's wrist and twist under the arm to apply a wrist lock!

Trent maintains wrist control, choosing to punish The Boss by twisting his wrist behind his back in an uncomfortable manner.
Cartwright has a free arm, he should probably try to use it!
The Boss looks to grab the back of Trents head with his free hand and send him to the mat with a snapmare!

Cartwright has Trent where he wants him on the mat and looks to keep control of the head, by applying the most devastating move in the game, the dreaded chinlock, looking to continue to wear Trent down!

Cartwright would begin to apply the greatest rest hold of all sports entertainment and professional wrestling. But Trent wasn't going to let it sit like that forever, as before Cart could place the knee in solid, Trent already was beginning to rotate his body, trying to avoid the lock.
The crowd and announcers appreciating the technical prowess of Apex's own, Trent!

Trent is right to fear The Chinlock, as he turns to face Cartwright, as The Boss gets to a knee in preparation for the lock!
Annoyed by Trent's repositioning, Cartwright still intends to grab at Trent's head, but this time to apply a Front Chancery!
