The little mouse was still scary to her but she was working on it. Today she was baking a few sweets and trying her hand at a making drinks. The mare had found a new little herb and was very excited to see exactly how it would taste. It was rather sweet when eaten raw, but she didn't know how it would be cooked or put into a drink. She was very excited to try this and even more so to share it.

She could see them coming and went out to greet them. "Hello Bakkhos and Nectar, are you ready to try some of my new treats?" She asked, her excited voice not matching how her face looked at all.

Bakkhos trotted towards his friend's home eagerly. His long tail waving proudly behind him. Nectar squeaked for him to slow down a little bit as she clung desperately to his mane. "What has got you in such a hurry today?" She huffed.

The stallion laughed. "Sorry. Enizi promised something new for us today. I'm eager to see what it is." The mare had hinted at something about a new plant. Her home soon came into view and he hailed her as she approached. "Always!" Nectar sighed tolerantly and smiled. "A please to see you again Enizi. I know Bakkhos is very eager to try it."

This was a wonderful moment for her as she bobbed her head at the pair. There were a few new ornaments at the front of her atrium home. A few new gnomes and flamingos of varying colors. There were also a lot more mushrooms and vines than before. One may say it looked a little over cluttered but it wasn't actually a bad over clutter of vegetation. "I have a fizzy drink that I am making that should be done before the sweets are done. I did also make some bread as well as some cheese for you Nectar." She was really trying to get more comfortable with the little mouse. After all they were always friendly when they came and did their best to not startle her.

She began to usher them inside. Her home a little more vibrant on the inside than before. There were several herbs drying in various locations of the home. Her alchemy table, where she brewed potions and now apparently drinks, was still a bit of a mess from where she had been concocting new things. She was already going to the large flask that was quite filled with a orange fizzy liquid. "I hope this turns out well." she muttered as she pulled the flask down and filled a few cups. "Smells good at least."

Bakkhos was fascinated by the variety of foods Enizi listed off. He wondered how she came up with all of them. What was a fizzy drink? The stallion allowed himself to be ushered along good naturedly.

"I'm sure you've out done ourself again Enizi." He did his best to ignore the things she called gnomes. They were not his favorite. Though the colorful birds weren't a problem. Nectar perked up at the mention of cheese. "Thank you, I look forward to sampling this one."

"Cheers!" He laughed as she filled the cups. "It's ok if it doesn't Enizi. We'll enjoy it just the same. We appreciate your efforts that you go through for us. Is there anything you need?"

She had remembered too late to remove the gnomes from her small garden. Before they would leave, Enizi would make sure she got out there and covered them at aleast until they were out of sight for Bakkhos. Although most things gave poor Enizi the shivers and Nectar being of the rodent family, the small mouse was always very kind to her and understanding of her situation.

The fizzy drink was a bright orange color with just a touch of foam that was forming at the top. It had a somewhat earthy scent but was rather sweet to taste once it went down. She was confident she had finally brewed something that was going to be amazing. Though she had hoped that it was going to be a little sweeter, it still wasn’t a bad sweet and not over the top sort of sweet.

“I was hoping for a sweeter taste,” She gave a rough sigh, “but this isn’t too bad. Do you enjoy the fizz? I added that as an accident but I actually enjoy the sensation. I don’t think I will try adding that to my potions however.” She chuckled at the last part. “No no, I am quite alright. Let us just get you guys settled in the dining room.”

The brown and white colored mare was very excited to get to the sweets she was baking. She had timed them getting there quite perfectly with the food ready to be removed and all about the same time so they could eat up. The desert was probably going to be the best thing, not that it would be really eaten last. The smell wafted through that home and it was quite mouth watering.

“I hope you are ready for some goodies!” That rather calm face really didn’t match the excitement in her voice as she abandoned her fizzy drink. One day she might come up with a name for. “The bread is already out and ready to be eaten. I have cheese slices and a variety of fruits there.” She was calling for them as she hurried to remove her baked goodies. “Don’t forget your drinks I will have to grab mine in a moment. Actually that would help me out a lot if you might be able to bring it too? Unless of course you can’t and then that is alright and I will grab it once you guys dig in.”

There was actually a decent spread of food within the dining area of Enizi’s home, which was on the other side of the kitchen. There were cheeses of a few kinds to choose from, quite a bit of fruits both cut up and whole, a nice salad, a large loaf of bread, and now the sweet that was in the center of it all. The sweet somewhat resembled a mix between a brownie and a croissant. Little squares with some flakey croissant within.

Once they were all settled, she returned to grab her flask and take a first bite of her brownie and melted. What she didn’t know was what was going to happen after eating those particular sweets.

He admired the vibrant orange color she'd managed to obtain. Should he ask how she did it? Probably not. The foam at the top was a novel texture that he definitely enjoyed. Bakkhos wasn't sure about the earthy scent. Maybe it was something that would grow on him. The sweet flavor was nice.

"The bubbles are so unusual! Foals I'm sure would be thrilled by this." He laughed. Nectar sniffed eagerly as the smells from the cooking wafted through the home. "That smells so good Enizi!" Bakkhos nodded his agreement, his mouth was watering. "You need a racoon friend to help you." He brought the drinks over and let Nectar hop down to inspect the cheeses on offer.

"This is great Enizi!" He'd absolutely see about bringing some goodies home to his mother. Half way through his drink and food, he realized he couldn't stand steady on his hooves. Bakkhos wasn't sure which item was the culprit, but everything seemed funny. He started laughing and couldn't stop, even to the point of tears in his eyes.

Enizi nodded her head in agreement, "I think they would like the strange bubbly feeling on your tongue most of all. I really hope everyone enjoys."

Oh they would enjoy it alright. Everything had seemed rather fine. Chatting together about gardens and life. Enizi had at one point decided to just lay herself down, folding those wings about her body. She felt like she was actually floating on clouds and when Bakkhos had started to laugh, she too had uncontrollable laughter. What had been so funny? She could not remember. They had a wonderful time of blissful joy that had been brought on by something they had ingested.

When they finally were able to sober up from their collective intoxication Enizi had seen the two off. It hadn't been an awful experience but maybe next time it would be a more planned thing instead of stumbling upon it.
