"Oh dear!" Hotaru yelped as they watched Revontulet drop down the cliff, tucking her long ears against her nape as Fae was already running towards the new edge caused by the mudslide. It had rained for many days prior to their walk around the cliff edges. Fae didn't feel nervous about their region, it had always been rather stable but she felt like an idiot trusting it after so much rainfall.
They had wanted to ditch their sleeping respective mates for some sister-in-law time. Due to the nature of Fae and Arcane's jobs they were often not in the same area, and had come to pay a visit to Revontulet and Fae's brother Howdan. Though, for some families, they could be considered 'often enough in the same area'. They saw each other every so many moons. Fae pushed Revontulet awake, gently of course, and with soft pressure of course the Umbral convinced her bright and lively sister in law. Gone to possibly pick something off worth killing for the omnivores of the group and to allow Revontulet to forage for something good to eat for breakfast.
They were still quite close to the gathering point, their area being Howdan and Revontulet's usual spot during the summer. Fae looked over the cliff's edge to find Revontulet on a limb of tree. "Ask?! Are you okay?" She panicked, a thing not usual for the unique faekind Soquili. She glanced around to see if there was anything that could help her. Of course this had to happen the time they let Will'o sleep at home with her mate. Fae contemplated who was the faster runner; her or Hotaru? But first she wanted to see if Revontulet was still able to talk. "Are you injured?" Fae flicked her short tail behind her in concern.

Askúta Moschata Revontulet is a cheerful, sunset-nebula colored cerynei mare that delights in autumn and a fantastic bonfire evening. Sadly, due to the overwhelmingly sweltering heat of summer such things are in short supply. Even more so with regards to company in the form of her in laws, seeing as various responsibilities pull them apart more often than not. As such, Askúta finds that she is ever so thankful when there is finally a break in the summer heat, though it is in the form of many days of rain. It's a matter of going from one extreme to the other, but there's something to be said for how beggars cannot be choosers.
Honestly the weather has been so poor she and many others have been forced to cling to shelter, avoiding the veritable monsoon that had settled on their shoulder like a bird home to roost. When the pouring rain had finally calmed down, it was a relief and a delight to escape the shelter of the woods and caves in favor of a brisk, much-needed walk. Even with an early wake up call, she cheerfully jostles Fae and then skips ahead slightly when the cliff-path narrows. They're foraging and hunting for breakfast as they enjoy their visit, but there's no harm in investigating their surroundings and making sure everything is clear and safe in the wake of the storms.
She thinks that something about the trail being surprisingly safe is one of the last things that flits through her mind before the trail in question crumbles beneath her hooves, spilling her down the sharp embankment in a flurry of scrabbling limbs. Askúta gives an alarmed whistle at the sudden lack of surface beneath her and the sensation of falling, trying to keep to her hooves as much as possible as she slides down sharp rock with various hazardous outcroppings. She's brought to a sudden crunching halt by a particularly intrepid tree, impact driving air from her lungs and the world around her is going dark.
When Askúta wakes it's to the distant awareness of Fae's concerned voice, prompting the Cerynei mare's ears to swivel slowly back in the direction of the high ground.
"Fae?" she mumbles around a cough, shifting a little as she tries to tuck her legs under her.
There's a telltale groan and a creak that has her freezing, eyes snapping open wide to consider her surroundings with no small amount of worry. One of the trees growing out of the rock has caught her, but there's no way she can risk moving, and her right foreleg aches fiercely.
"Hotaru? Fae? Can you hear me? I don't think I can move." Wordcounter: 446

For a minute Fae felt her heart go up her throat and rant and rave against her uvula to let it jump right out her glowing maw and out over the cliff just like Revontulet. Great. She killed her sister in law by just wanting to spend time with her. How will Howdan ever forgive her, or Arcane? What about Fae herself. But then she saw movement in the freckled black body she could see from above. A big deep breath she was unknowingly holding was let out. Her heart taking a few kind steps back. "Oh thank the fae." She said out loud to herself. "I didn't kill her." But now how to get their mates here, Fae was not weak but she was at a loss of how to get her up alone, Hotaru was a small dog and she would definitely have no advantage to this. Contemplating she looked at Hotaru. "I'm going to go and run to get Arcane and Howdan, stay here with her. Keep her talking for a little bit, can you do that?" She nosed out at Hotaru's ear.
Looking over the cliff, "Ask! I'm going to go get the boys! Hotaru is staying with you, please keep talking to her and updating her on what's going on!" she whimpered as she yelled over to Revontulet. She had been glad she left her warm hood in the den and running would be easier. Hotaru watched Fae run off, never having seen Fae work so quickly that her shadow drippings couldn't even keep up. "I'm here still Revon." Hotaru filled in, "Do you think you've hurt yourself or is what you landed on not feeling safe?" Hotaru looked panicked herself, trying to see if she could come down and give her some better company but she didn't think it was safe enough to do so. Best make sure the others didn't have one more to rescue.
Fae flew down the trails, jumping over the harder climbs that they had previously encountered on their way up. As she saw the specific twist that brought Arcane and Fae to Howdan and Revontulet she let out big-girl-barks sounding off to her brother and mate. "Both of you! Get up! I need your help!" She said in a panic unlike her usual state.

For her part, the sunset-nebula colored mare had always been a bit devil may care, between that and her coloring had earned her the moniker Revontulet, and so she rarely even went by her first or full name. She was always quick to move, prone to snap-judgments and no few stunts- not the least of which had been tearing away from her home herd as a young mare with little to no regard for her own safety. She'd fallen in with a strong band of wanderers that autumn and made it safely through the winter before going her separate way, but she had paid for it later once her brother caught up with her full of protective lectures and admonitions. Lying there, dazed and trapped on the cliff face, she can't help but think that Hiss will have so much more to say when he learns about this latest stunt. Admittedly there shouldn't have been much danger implied in an early morning walk with her sister in law, but there was probably to some truth to the joke that if there was trouble to be found, Askúta Revontulet would find it. And she had, in far grander fashion than even she would have anticipated. Now she was wedged against a precarious tree with an injured leg and a knock to the head. Even if she wanted to attempt it, there was no way she was scrabbling back up the cliff side in her current condition. Not without substantial assistance. "That would be wise," she conceded when Fae informed her of the plan to fetch their mates, wincing at the thought of worrying yet more of their family. Still, there was no helping it, she couldn't see a way out of her current situation without some serious assistance. "I don't see myself going anywhere... So go carefully, please." Revontulet made an amused sound to herself, shaking her head before she realized how it made everything wobble and prompted her to close her eyes instead. "Well, you can't be too bad off if you can make jokes about it... But maybe don't go clearing yourself just yet. A healer is probably in order." Hearing Hotaru call down to her, she shifted slightly to take stock of the situation, trying to get the most correct information to provide for when her rescue happened. "I've taken a knock to the head that has me a little dizzy, Hotaru," she admits. "And there's significant pain in my foreleg, a gash but it doesn't feel broken? I'm wedged against this tree down here and it's a bit tenuous, admittedly, I don't think moving around too much is ideal. Not without some reinforcement or a safety line. I guess this is what I get for adventuring without a spotter. Arcane is going to be mad at us for not bringing one of the ravens along for safety's sake..." Revontulet Wordcounter: 481 In deference to his busy previous day and his tendency to stay up late, Arcane is still curled up on the rich moss bed he'd gone to sleep on in the early hours of the morning. His ravens are off nesting wherever they've found to be comfortable, and even Fae's early departure had done little to disturb him beyond a soft disapproving murmur.
Her return to the den site is far more explosive than her departure, heralded by panicked scrabbling and alarm barks. Arcane flails into motion at the sudden rush of sound, leaping to his paws and darting into the sunnier part of the grove without his hat or any of his usual traveling trappings. "FAE? I'm up, what's happened?" ArcaneWordcounter: 121

Quote: Revontulet was an addition to the family that made Fae delighted, it was nice to have another female in addition. The Scarecrows was a male-heavy family naturally, Hotaru had loved to have another female companion to wander and travel with. Especially since Fae was off doing her ambassador job for the Realm and Lands and Knight, they saw every so often as well, was a little different from Hotaru even if Hotaru was rather good at getting along with all walks of life. But now she was stuck watching in worry over Revontulet having fallen into a dangerous situation. Tucking her ears lightly, until Revontulet started responding to her questions, she pressed her ears forward to catch the words better. Whimpering down at Revontulet, "Well it's best you try to stay awake with us, so we can access your condition when the three come here to get you out." Hotaru responded, hoping that Fae had heard Revon ask for a healer. She sighed, "I'm sorry, I should have told Fae no a little firmer or woken up one of the ravens."
Quote: Fae had booked it off, but she had faintly heard Revontulet ask for a healer, she just had to go quick. She was worried the branch that her sister in law had fallen on would tumble into the canyon further below. And she couldn't chance losing her sister in law. With her heart in her maw, she moved to wake up the two males. Moving to also wake up the ravens. "Wake up!"
Quote: Howdan blinked awake as he heard his sister come in to wake up. He wasn't too far from Arcane, taking notice that the tiny form of Revontulet was gone. His eyebrows knitting together when Fae had come back alone. Hotaru wasn't even in his sister's company. He had gotten awake and up to join Arcane into running towards his sister. "Where's Revon?" He tucked his ears back, "and Hotaru? Fae what's happened?" He sounded in stereo with Arcane.
Quote: Fae felt eminent death when both of them came bounding out of their sleeping quarters, updating all of them at once as Will'o and the two male ravens stirred. "I need you to come with me, Ask fell down a cliff. She's still conscious and I left Hotaru out there to watch over her. Grab some rope and come with me. I need one of you birds to come with us and the other to go West of here and look for Labyrinth. We need a healer of sorts and she's the closest Unicorn I know the direction of currently." With that she pushed at Arcane and Howdan. "Let's go, I will accept getting yelled at when we get her out of the situation she's currently in. Fae spoke like an auctioneer, loud and clear with a hint of 'if Speed Racer's job was to speedtalk and not race cars'.
Quote: "She.. WHAT?" Howdan growled at his sister, not in the means of vicious attempt to attack her but out of disappointment and irritation. Moving quickly to put away his anger and fear as he twisted his body around to go back to his equipment and grabbed a long rope or two, he was blanking as he thought about going to his mate's side. Moving to follow after Fae as she had pushed away to run off to lead them to Revontulet. Once there Howdan replaced Hotaru and he looked down. Feeling his heart ache. "Love, we're here." He said nervously, but seeing her move made him feel only a little bit at ease. Considering the angle and if he could grip the side of the mountain with his claws. It looked like it was possible. He considered options and weighed the plans. He had always been the sort to be the decisive one within his family. "Fae I think you might have to climb down there. I have two ropes.. We should probably tie up Revon, pull her up by anchoring the two ropes on the front and back as to not hurt her more.. and then we'll drop the rope ends down to pull her up.." His eyes shifting to Arcane. "Does that sound like a plan that you can help me with?" Fae WordCounter: 221 Howdan WordCounter: 302 ... but really like where the hell did: "if Speed Racer's job was to speedtalk and not race cars" even come from?

Quote: "Right, staying awake," Revontulet muttered, giving herself a faint shake to try and dispel the shadows that seemed to be growing long at the corners of her vision. Of course keeping her eye line clear meant her unobstructed view was that of cliff, and sheer drop, and a pathetic little ledge and the tree that she was currently wedged on. Not exactly the best view... And if she tilted her head up, it was a little like falling into the sky. "Very dizzy, Hotaru," she admits in a slightly subdued tone, trying to be honest and ensure they have the most current information she can give, should she lose her battle and pass out again. "But it's no one's fault, it was just an accident. I admit that the ravens would have been helpful, and I guess we'll have to bring one along from now on... But it was a freak accident, because of the weather and such. Don't blame yourself, and don't let Fae blame herself... The boys won't be a picnic to handle either, tell them I said not to yell, okay?" Revontulet Wordcount: 184 Quote: Arcane gives Howdan a reassuring look as they scramble toward the obviously upset Fae, shouldering the other male with gentle affection. He knows whatever Fae's answers are to their questions, considering how she returned to the glade, that they will be upset by them. There's no way she comes sprinting back home alone for a good reason. Someone is surely hurt, or trapped, or some combination thereof, at the very least. Hearing Fae explain things has worry sweeping over him, for he's quite fond of the little Cerynei mare he thinks of as a sister and not just an 'in-law'. Arcane rumbles in agreement at her plan and nods, throwing his head up to call the ravens down to them. Arcane Wordcount: 120 Quote: Invocation is the first of the ravens to react, often nesting on his own somewhat away from the bonded pair that frequently serve as messengers for Arcane and Fae when they're apart. The blue phoenix raven gives his friends a worried look with one keen eye, tilting his head in consideration before he dives to a lower branch. "I will go in search of Lady Labyrinth," he offers when faced with Arcane's demanding expression. "That way the others can go with you and you have resources to send if they're needed. I'll go now, while you go on to her rescue." He takes wing the next moment, giving a encouraging call to Incantation before he wings away with a flick of his long tail. Invocation Wordcount: 124 Quote: Mahiz Indurata Vesihiisi -often simply "Hiss" to his friends and family- is just trotting up to the section of forest housing the glades his sister calls home with her mate and modest herd when he hears sounds of panic and concern. There's yelling which can only be Fae -if it was Revon, he'd know- which tells him that more likely than not it is his sister about whom they are now worried. "Howdan?" He calls demandingly, kicking up to a canter and charging into the glade. If Revontulet isn't around, then Hiss wants to speak to her mate, wants to know where she's gone and why... And who thought it was clever to let her go there alone. Revontulet herself is headstrong and magnetized due Trouble, the most mischievous heading her instinctual True North. Even if she didn't mean to, she often found danger... or danger found her. "I was just coming to visit, what has happened?" Hiss asks when he sees the hound siblings together with Arcane. "Fill me in on the way, won't you?" He catches enough of the story and the planning to know he's going to go with them, and wherever they're headed, his sister is there and injured. The ravens flying off in search of a Healer gives him hope, but his body is still tight with tension as he wheels and gallops after the group when they speed off toward the perilous cliff side that has crumbled with the recent rains and consequently dumped Revontulet face-first into danger. Mahiz Indurata Vesihiisi "Hiss" Wordcount 254 Quote: "Thank you, Invocation," Arcane grits out before darting into action, lunging to catch up some rope for rescue and throwing it over his head so he can run full-tilt with the rest of the rescue party. For the duration of the journey he kept just off of Howdan's flank, drawing up short as he let the other male step up to actually speak with their wayward lady. The path they're on is wide enough, sweeping out wide as if countless feet have worn it to take in the majestic view. There are notable signs of erosion, fresh torn earth and tumbled rock, but what remains seems solid under Howdan's paws. "Thank the stars," he mutters, considering a tree that stands well off the cliff face. "An anchor point will come in handy. We can tie large loops in the rope and throw it down, of Rev can step up enough to get through it, or the ravens fly down to help, we should be able to get them around her and then get her up here without sending Fae down unless it's absolutely necessary. I don't really want to have to rescue all of us from this mess." He turns his head back to Howdan with a reassuring agreement, nodding in determination. "Regardless of how it is handled, you have my help. Let's collect your lady, shall we?" Arcane Wordcount: 228 Quote: "LittleSister," Hiss sighs mostly to himself, inching to the cliff edge to peer down at the mare caught there. "You really do find yourself in the worst of predicaments. I thought I told you to stick close to that mate of yours when I wasn't around, because he'd keep you out of trouble." He flicks a look over at Howdan, his concerned heart somewhat consoled by how the stallion is competently working on a plan of rescue even while so visibly worried. "I can anchor also, if it is needed. She's much easier to lecture when she's on solid ground." Hiss Wordcount: 100 Quote: Hearing yet another familiar voice, Revontulet craned her head up and back to squint at the cliff edge. She can see her mate peering down at her, looking ever so worried, and though he's not at the edge to be seen she is certain the deep rumbling tones of concern are Arcane. Fae is also there, near frantic with worry but still so brave, which makes the injured mare smile faintly. The pale, blurry shape just a little to the right resolves itself to the figure of her brother, and she sighs at his gentle lecturing that belies how concerned he is for her. "Oh, and Hiss too... The whole family is here then, delightful." She muses tiredly. "Don't everyone step up at once, that first one is a real head-turner." Revontulet Wordcount: 131

Quote: Hotaru whimpered in concern for Revontulet, "We weren't on the trails for long, with the long legs coming to help us, I'm sure they will be here very shortly." Hotaru tried to sound hopeful and helpful to Revon. She watched Revon shift and kept her eyes dancing between her and the tree limb of sorts that she was currently laying on. It gave her a rush of adrenaline and fear each time, Hotaru was not built for the heights but Revon meant more to her and her found family than her fear. It was really a family thing, Torchgroves were more built for the underground and they liked to dig holes. Her eyebrows softened as she listened to Revontulet converse with her. "Leave it to you to be the one who worries about Fae and I blaming ourselves while you.. Well. I'm not going to say it until you are up here on solid ground." Nodding gently, "I'll make sure they don't yell and I'll talk about how the ravens will never be left to sleep again." Hotaru Word-Count: 183
Quote: Howdan was in a flurry of thought as they worked to get things together to take off to find his mate, but easily grounded by the shouldering by Arcane. A thankful glance given to Arcane, but it dropped as scent of Hiss caught his nose, the sweet smell of corn caught him off guard. Not only was his mate hurt and trapped somewhere, now he had to deal with his brother in law. Not to say he didn't consider Hiss as annoying, he was just worried for the situation of his sister. Really, Howdan could definitely understand, and he would have been just as worried for Fae if she was the one in trouble. Which wouldn't have been surprising. Funny how you fall for someone who shares things in common with your close family members. Fae and Revontulet getting along was a blessing for Howdan, he wouldn't have been able to deal with the mess if either of them disliked the other. But it was an instant click for the autumnal galactic cerynei he found himself in love with and his faekind twin sister.
At Hiss' question his eyes moved to look at his sister to help him explain to Hiss on the way. He was going to run like the wind to get to his mate and their cousin Hotaru. Howdan Word-Count: 224
Quote: Fae's ears tucked to Invocation and she whined. "Thank you so much." She said in unison with Arcane, feeling heavily at fault for this even though she knew it was an accident. She did exactly what Revontulet told Hotaru she shouldn't. Watching for a split second as Invocation takes off westward to find the unicorn and her skulled spouse. Her short manxed tail flicking in worry as she rounds to show them to their cerynei companion whilst filling in Hiss as much as she can. Tucking her ears lightly to run faster. Fae Word-Count: 94
Quote: Hotaru watched them all come into the clearing and she let her ears stand up at attention to them. "They're here." She told Revontulet before she turns her attention back to them. "Let's not yell at each other okay? That's the request." Hotaru peeps out before going to help Will o'Wisp and Incantation get them ready to get the rope down there. Hotaru Word-Count: 66
Quote: Upon stopping, Howdan lets Arcane express his idea, which sounds better than the flurry of thought Howdan's plans were. Though the rope idea was definitely a useful thought to come up with. Howdan gives Arcane a warm look though, he was happy to have such an intelligent tiger to take care of his silly twin. He was sure to know that when Arcane and Fae were ever in trouble it was definitely Fae's fancy words and ideas that got them in the predicament. Looking at Hotaru in soft amusement for their cousin's request. "We're not going to yell." Just as he says that Hiss talks to his sister. Shaking his head in amusement as he moves to get the knots that Arcane suggested done up and passing some to Arcane to help Incantation take down to Revontulet. "That's a good idea, Hiss." He comments as he moves to prepare Hiss for anchoring, and then himself. Howdan Word-Count: 160
Quote: Will O'Wisp peeps gently at Hotaru and Howdan for helping her with preparations. Moving to the hill edge to then wait for the go ahead from the anchor volunteers and Howdan. As soon as she's told, she swoops down to help Revontulet into the loops and inspect her wounds. Will decides to take the end of Rev that is injured, helping with her beak to get it around Rev without further injuring or tweaking her painfully.
Quote: Fae made her way to stand over the edge to watch the birds while the three stallions worked hard to make sure that she didn't get hurt and it was an easy lift to safety. Once the two ravens were done, Fae would alert them and keep Arcane, Howdan and Hiss updated about her position. When Revontulet is pulled up far enough Fae reaches down with Hotaru to pull her to safety a little gentler than the ropes rubbing against the cliff edge. Nuzzling her sister in law and then backing off once Howdan is approaching. Before returning to Arcane's side, tucking her ears and tail to show him she was sorry for the scare. "I wanted to let the birds sleep, they looked so comfortable." Whimper. Her eyes looking to Hiss in the same apology. Fae Word-Count: 138
Quote: Which he does approach, it was now Howdan's time to whimper and whine as he waited for Labyrinth to come and check on her. Laying against her better side so she can lean onto him. Licking at her face and giving soft lovenips. "Next time, bring the birds. Please." He knew he couldn't fight her about meandering off especially with a smooth talking set of twins like Howdan and Fae as her family. Nosing her ear. "I'm happy you both brought Hotaru though, at least someone could monitor you while Fae came to get us." His maw rubbed against her neck as to not bother her probable concussion, giving her loving chesty murmurs. He was just happy she was alright for the most part, and not on a tree branch. He will need therapy for a little bit after this, everyone will need it. He didn't enjoy seeing her in such a scary situation. Howdan Word-Count: 158

Quote: "Mmmm, shortly and loudly, I'm sure." Revontulet agreed, closing one of her eyes to see if it helped minimize dizziness, since she was sure that shaking her head would just make it all worse. "Well I might as well worry about you and Fae... I don't want to jinx myself but speculating as to worse case scenarios doesn't seem like it'd be a good use of my time, energy or imagination. If it's all the same to you, I'll skip it for now, hmmm? Once I'm back on solid ground I promise to thoroughly consider the alternatives and be properly chastised. I'm sure the boys will rather insist on it, anyway... They're protective on a good day, and today was a good day... But you know what they say about one wrong step and all that." Mouth curling in a half-smile that can't be seen by her rescuers but nevertheless buoys her spirit, Revontulet flicks her tail and shifts slightly, gathering her feet more firmly beneath her as she tries to prepare to face her rescuers. Revontulet Wordcount: 176 Quote: Arcane merely nods, catching the look Howdan sends him as they work quickly to gather and then head out toward the cliff to rescue their wayward lady. He's concerned but determined to stay calm in crisis, trying to exert a soothing influence so Fae can find strength in him. He doesn't like mate being so worried and guilty, and gives the ravens a speaking look as they make their preparations and hang out. Judging from the return look from Incantation, he feels moderately sure that there will not be an opportunity for such a calamity to occur in the future. Clearly all of them will be acting with greater care, after this event. But the future could take care of itself, the important thing was rescuing Revon in the present. They had the healer covered, and the ropes, and enough bodies to get the actual rescue done... Probably even before Hiss, but telling him to stay put while they went to rescue his sister wasn't exactly a feasible plan. Besides, if he was willing to anchor, Arcane could see how that would be quite helpful. The ropes would likely burn hide right off of Arcane, Howdan or Fae, but Hiss had smooth scales along his spine and over his back. "No skin off your nose if I throw this over you, then?" He rumbles as he and Incantation work to toss out and set up the rope so that they can be tied and the ends flown down to Revontulet. Arcane Wordcount: 250 Quote: Hiss can tell from the concern and the way Howdan looks pressed at his arrival that this isn't exactly the perfect time for a drop in family visit. That being said, it's the time they've got and there's no turning it backward now. Doing his best not to ruffle the Pumpkin Dog's hide too much, Hiss gives him a quietly compassionate look. Here's hoping that Howdan will remember they both love the mischief nebula mare that has managed to tumble out of sight. "No yelling," Hiss promises Hotaru in a soft tone, standing opposite the tree and waiting for direction. "Not my nose or my neck," Hiss murmured agreeably, giving the Evocation Cheshire a smirk and a nod. "Sure, let's do it. Toss it over and let's get things started." Hiss flicks his attention to Howdan and gives a slightly wider smile, eyes gleaming. "Careful you don't ruin that handsome face or neck of yours, brother-in-law. I don't want my sister yelling at us when she gets up here." Mahiz Indurata Vesihiisi "Hiss" Wordcount: 169 Quote: Incantation pauses to preen Will O'Wisp affectionately, trying to reassure her, before they launch themselves into flight to help with the security ropes. He flips his wings and dives more adventurously, leaving his mate to make a medical assessment of the mare while easing the rescue lines in place and then soaring away from the cliff to glide back and forth, spotting and calling out adjustments to the stallions on the cliff. Incantation Wordcount: 72 Quote: Arcane does his best to give his mate a few reassuring glances as they work around getting their rescue set up, tossing one to Hiss for good measure. With Hiss and Howdan acting as anchor points, it mostly falls to him to reel in the excess rope, spot what he can, and help each side haul in turn. "Nearly there?" He asks, seeing Fae and Hotaru move into place to help with the actual rescue. Arcane Wordcount: 75 Quote: "Not soon enough," Hiss chimes in, planting his hooves firmly and waiting until Revon is on solid ground. "Little Sister, what mischief have you wrought yourself today, hmmm?" Hiss waits until the others have had their chance, then sneaks in to give Revontulet an affectionate nuzzle. He's careful not to disturb her where she leans against her mate, but has to at least check in. "You really should retire your troublesome ways... You're going to give your mate grey hair, to say nothing of your in-laws. Such stress is not good for anyone's heart."
