Helio absolutely adored adventure. He saw the entire world as his kingdom, waiting to be conquered, waiting to have the edges of the map filled in, by him and him alone.
Or, well, maybe not alone. Being a twin meant he was hardly ever alone, but this time he'd managed to get out from under his sister's hooves and was prancing along by himself, chasing down a butterfly, just to make sure it wasn't secretly a Flutter that was trying to invade Helio's turf.
"Get back here!" he yelled, just in case the possible-invader was an actual invader and could hear him. Did regular butterflies have ears? He'd have to ask his daddy. But later, once he chased the possible-invader safely away - he'd tell his daddy all about it. He hopped and trotted after, his own wings flapping when his hooves left the ground, though not enough to actually take him airborne - his daddy and his mama said he was too little to fly on his own, but he was just sure he could figure it out. Maybe he could capture the invader and make the invader tell him how to do it, and also how to shrink. He could do it, too, he'd seen his daddy do it, but he just...hadn't quite figured out how to do it himself yet. Where did his bones go?
"I'm gonna getcha!" he shouted after the butterfly, absolutely unaware of how loud he was being, or that there might be other Soquili nearby. He was in the zone, and he wasn't going to slow down or quiet down for anything or anybody. "You can't get away from me!"
