This is a PRP Between Glasya Labolas (UniWingdFox) and Okeley Aillard Octavius (Saint Vis)
There was a light dusting of snow covering the ground that barely crunched under the small filly’s hooves. Seeable puffs exited her nostrils with each breath out. This was the first time young Glasya had been some where so cold. She shivered and shifted the furry cloak closer to her face. One of her parents had given it to her specifically for their journey. Although grateful for the warmth it provided, she did find it awkward to move in with it being large for her tiny frame. It was meant to last her long into adulthood and she hoped to eventually have it fit well. She shifted again and continued on her trek. Glasya knew better than to let her thoughts wander while lost, but could not help as she thought back to the start of her journey.
The day had been like any other with her waking in the family’s little clearing. It didn’t stay normal for long as her parents informed her they would be going on a journey. According to one of her siblings, something had happened in the north that they needed to attend to. Since it was a rushed trip there hadn’t been enough time for her to fully comprehend all the rules of the trip. Like not taking her time to examine new plants along the way. At some point she had stopped to harvest a clipping only to lose sight of the others. Heat had flushed her face at the mistake, but not enough to stop the foal from shifting into the survival tactics she did recall.
If ever separated from her family, Glasya would need to head toward a body of water. Which she was currently doing. Thankfully the snow had yet to thickly blanket the ground. So the filly was able to track the path toward hopefully a river. If the water she found was flowing, it would be best to follow the direction it flowed from. Should the water be still, the next step would be looking for any signs of living. As she slowly got closer to what she hoped was water, a light also came into view in the distance. Dark eyes squinted as it got bigger and bigger. More sure now that it was a fire, Glasya adjusted her path to head to that instead.
