Samuel's Trading Post

"Well hey there! Got any goods to sell or trade?"

Samuel, owner of the trading post.

This room takes up almost the entire first floor of the building from the looks of it. There are all manner of goods stacked near the walls and piled in rows in the middle of the floor allowing just enough room for people and goods to move in between them. The walls are cramed with so many objects hanging from them that you can scarcely see what colour they are. Sacks of grain and salt, dried meats, barrels of various liquors and ales, crates packed with wine, tools of different sorts, exotic clothing, fabrics, and furs are all a part of the variety of goods packed into the trading post. Near the counter where there are various scales for weighing out trade goods you notice a photograph of a young girl with glasses in a chef's uniform.

I inspeck the photograph and try to remember her face. A cook. Wonder who she is. After I have the girl's face memoirzed, I head outside.

A weary young woman enters the little shop and examines the merchandise.

"Who is this girl in the picture?" she asks.

"Why that's my little girl, she is. Works in the Inn by the train station and she cooks a fine meal."

Shinobi walked out of the trading post.  

[Molecular Atrophy]

Artemis scrutinizes each wall of the trading post. Nothing seemed to stand out - curio items and food products weren't going to help her solve anything. Coming across an antique frame, Artemis examines picture, inquiring Samuel about the girl in the picture.

The chef, eh?

It might have nothing to do with the murder at hand, but Artemis would try to talk to the cook later. . . .

Thanking Samuel again, she bids him adieu and walks toward the wooden doors.
