Uh... The Squirrel Nut Zippers are named after a candy bar. There's also Bowling For Soup, but they're from Texas and only part of their name is food. Er... Demon Lemon is an online band that does a pretty funny song called "The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ultimate_Showdown_of_Ultimate_Destiny The Lemonheads just might count, too, I think.
Oh, yeah, and there's the String Cheese Incident and the Meat Puppets, who, even though they reference a body part do rely on the fact that the very body part is referenced by a type of food - that is, to whit, beatable meat is, as it were, the foodstuff known as meat.
And what about Pearl Jam? It has Jam in the title.
And I wish Lightning Seeds counted, but it doesn't, even though I've had "Life of Riley" running through my head all damn day.
"I don't mind! I get the feeling you'll be fine... I still beleive that in this life, you've got to find the time... " AAAAARRRGH!

Hmm... good game, here's the trawl through my IPod:
Blue Oyster Cult Ross Parsley - Chrisitan artist, song: "Hear us from Heaven" Spice Girls Hot Chocolate Eagle Eye Cherry The Jam (UK 80's punk) Bread Martha & The Muffins (80's, song: Echo Beach) Bananarama (UK 80's, don't know if they made it in the USA, did a catchy cover of "Venus")
Also, for the Brits out there, our cringe-worthy, but ever so catchy 80's Eurovision Song Winners - Buck's Fizz (Honest, they are not on my IPod!!)
And, do these count:
Sugababes Hootie and the Blowfish (I'm vegetarian, so I don't know if you can eat blowfish!) Capercaillie - A Scottish folk band (the woman who sang the lament in Braveheart), and a game bird kind of like a grouse or turkey, but again, being veggie, I've no idea if folk actually still eat it.
