About EudoraName: Eudora Gender: Female Alignment: Faery Age: Teen
Sexual Preference: Straight (we assume) Love Interest: -- Children: --
Power: Lockpick -- Eudora possesses the ability to transform her fingers and hands to pick any lock she wishes to
Based On: In Greek mythology, Pandora ("all gifted") was the first woman, fashioned by Zeus as part of the punishment of mankind for Prometheus' theft of the secret of fire.
To punish mankind, Zeus demanded that the other gods make Pandora as a poisoned gift for man. Pandora was given several traits from the different gods: Hephaestus molded her out of clay and gave her form; Athena clothed her and the Charites adorned her with necklaces made by Hephaestus; Aphrodite gave her beauty; Apollo gave her musical talent and a gift for healing; Demeter taught her to tend a garden; Poseidon gave her a pearl necklace and the ability to never drown; Zeus made her idle, mischievous, and foolish; Hera gave her curiosity; Hermes gave her cunning, boldness, and charm. Thus the name Pandora—"all gifts"—in Hesiod's version derives from the fact that she received gifts from all deities.
The most significant of these gifts, however, was a pithos or storage jar,[1] given to Pandora either by Hermes or Zeus. Before he was chained to the rock, Prometheus had warned Epimetheus not to take any gifts from the gods. However, When Pandora arrived, he fell in love with her. Hermes told Epimetheus that Pandora was a gift to the titan from Zeus, and he warned Epimetheus not to open the jar, which was Pandora's dowry.
Until then, mankind lived life in a paradise without worry. Epimetheus told Pandora never to open the jar she had received from Zeus. However, Pandora's curiosity got the better of her and she opened it, releasing all the misfortunes of mankind: "For ere this the tribes of men lived on earth remote and free from ills [kakoi] and hard toil [ponoi] and heavy sickness [nosoi argaleai] which bring the Keres [baleful spirits] upon men; for in misery men grow old quickly" (Hesiod, Works and Days). Once opened, she shut it in time to keep one thing in the jar: hope 1. The world remained extremely bleak for an unspecified interval, until Pandora "chanced" to revisit the box again, at which point Hope fluttered out. Thus, mankind always has hope in times of evil.

The name "Eudora" means "excellent gift" and Pandora means "all gifted." Eudora is going to be overly curious, lasting into adulthood, so no secret is going to be safe from her. No matter what it is, or how trivial, she will HAVE to know about it and will go to any lengths to do so. In a way, she will represent the blessing and the curse of knowledge, both beneficial and detrimental.
Weapon: --
Personality: If Eudora's personality could be described in two words only, it would easily be "undying curiosity." While easy to get along with on a normal basis, Guardians help anyone who implies that they have a secret, or decides to try and keep said secret from Eudora. The Fae will go to any lengths to uncover this secret, whether it is important to relevant to her own existance or not. Other than that, she is a sweet girl with an independent streak a mile wide who prefers to do things for herself, though not necessarily alone.
Strengths: Her curiosity leads her on a very productive search for knowledge Weaknesses: Her curiosity can get her in trouble sometimes as well
Likes: Pears and peaches; Shira, her rabbit friend of childhood Dislikes: Feeling or being left out of the proverbial 'loop'; secrets Fears: --

Friends
Shira -- Shira's a bunny! Mommy introduced us one day and though it took us a while to get used to each other, we became fast friends! We even shared some fruits and veggies for dinner and fell asleep before Daddy carried us off to sleep in his bed. Of course, I think it was the carrots that helped us get along quicker, but don't tell anyone. Shhh. But, anyway, Shira's always around when I need her. She's a sweet bunny.
Shale -- Daddy and I met this little boy in the forest and if he hadn't been wearing that diaper, I'd have thought he was a rock! He sure looks like a rock if he sits down and doesn't move for a while. But anyway, we talked, and I tried to teach him to count, and we shared some fruit, and threw seeds at trees... We had lots of fun! I wanna' see Shale again some day and play some more!
