Story

A city that has long been forgotten by time as well as history. In the begining a great demon and a god battled until they created a world where creatures, plants and life began to blossom. The demon was inprisined in the black gates in this lost city, where he slept for 4 thousand years until the day a group of adventures came apon the city. They awoke the demon within it's gates and they had doomed the realm. The tresspassers were killed and the evil demon is now recruting creatures for his final attack aginst the god, for control of the realm.

Other abilities: Because of her elfin blood, Keiko can speak with animals, especially birds

Strengths: She is skilled at magic, spellcasting, and is sometimes able to heal anyone in need of medical aid. She is also quite speedy and agile.

Weakness: Her physical defense often leaves much to be desired. Also, the reaction on her left side is slow compared to that of her right.

Description or picture of your character:

Any special items that have emotional meaning to him/her: The pendant she wears around her neck is the only keepsake she has of her father.

Likes/Dislikes: drawing, singing, tranquility such as that found in a forest or near a stream or lake. Keiko dislikes people who are too noisy.

Interesting facts: Though half-elfin, she shows no physical elfin traits

Friends/enemies: none so far. Keiko just set out on her traveler-mage's journey a few days ago.

Family: her father, whose name is yet unknown to her; and her mother, Lira Caelestis

Bio/history:
Keiko was born to a human father and an elfin mother. Her father left when she was only a few months old, leaving the pendant with his wife, instructing her to give it to Keiko upon her eighth birthday, the coming-of-age celebration year among the elfin races. Upon reception of the pendant, it was shown that Keiko had an aptitude for magic and spells, and so was sent to apprentice under one of the eldest sages in the elfin village she was born in. Now a full-fledged mage herself, she heard about the mysterious disappearances associated with 'The Forgotten City', and so set out to try and set affairs to right.

Likes/Dislikes: Kere loves reading and writing, she loves her travels, and she loves the soical life. Music and Dance have always been a huge part of her life. Kere dislikes dishonesty, and loneliness, it is actually something she fears.
Friends/enemies: Has no real friends to speak of, but many enemies from her jobs.

Bio/history: Kere grew up on the streets, with very little comfort. She had many friends from groups of street children, and had much love in her earlier days. She enjoyed her freedom, and the constant movement of the city. A man appeared one day, offering them a way out of the dirt and starvation. Kere saw him for what he was, and when the children gathered, he had them killed calling them "street trash". Alone Kere faced the world, and took on her career, she was only eleven. Her short stature gave her a great advantage for surprise, and became a high ranking criminal in the city. During one of her missions, she fell in love with one of her targets, Dax, her employer sent out others after them, forcing them to flee, but they never made it out okay. Her lover was killed, and she was beaten, she had only turned fifteen at this time. To escape the pain, Kere left the city, picking up Deemic along the way and offering her services to anyone whom asked for them.

Other abilities like a special bloodline: her blood line runs along with sorcery obvously, but a special blood line is her conection to effect the mind using illusionary techniques, or even poisons that are brought by the moths and butterflies that are attracted to her.

Other clothes/things: a necklace with a bronze moth (carries some magic with it).

Her mother was already killed by her sister so she killed her. Ginger then wondered around the land searching to learn more.

Bio/history: Aysel's parent died in a fire when she was 11. Her aunt was fed up with her and she's been living on her own for the past year. She's shy but wishes to have friends. Her shyness came from being with her aunt since shew was deprived of friends because her aunt spread rumours about her through out the town.

Akira was walking through a near by forest, slowly hunting a small dear. She held a dagger in her hand and was watching it from a distance. "I got you now." she whispered as she flung the dagger at the dear. Something spooked the dear and it ran away before Akira's dagger hit it. "Damn, so close." she said walking over and picking up the dagger. It was mid noon on a normal spring day. Akira had traveled over to a small spring where she refilled her waterskin and sat on the ground.

Keiko sighed to herself in relief. The deer was safe. But what was that she'd sensed just then?

She came out into the clearing, the small spring singing merrily as it burbled on its way to...well, wherever it led to.

There she saw a young girl with dark brown hair, refilling what looked like a waterskin.

Hmm...looks like I just scared away someone's lunch... she thought sheepishly. Ever since she'd learned she could converse with animals, she thought of almost all of them as her friends, even the carnivorous ones. Lying down in the field with a tiger or a dog made no difference to Keiko. Still, it made her sad that some animals would hunt others, especially if the hunted animal was something rarely seen - just like that pygmy deer earlier. It was only then that she interfered in the 'natural order', persuading the prey to run away while she 'chastised' the predator.

Now, she approached slowly, not wanting to scare the girl. "Um...excuse me?" she began, an apologetic look on her face. "You were trying to kill that pygmy deer, weren't you?"

((yes)) Akira turned quickly, sword in hand and smiled. "yes, yes i was but it seemed to escape from my grasp, oh well, at least i have fish." she deformed her sword and laid on the ground. She shrugged and gave a sigh.

Keiko sighed in relief. At least the girl wouldn't go hungry on account of her desire to protect animals.

"Well, that's good." she replied, also sitting down. It had been some time since she'd had some human company - whatever wasn't an animal. Besides, she'd gotten lost and had wanted to ask for directions. This girl was the first one she'd come across who looked to be able to answer her questions.

"Say..." she began, fiddling with several grass stalks. They were a lively green color, relaxing to the eyes. The earth here was healthy, that much was sure. "Have you...heard of the 'Forgotten City'?" She wouldn't tell her reasons for going there, not unless the girl wanted to know. Also, she was wary of sharing this with others, for fear they'd think her a lunatic for wanting to go to such a forsaken place.

Akiras looked at the girl with a questioning look. "It depends, what business do you have there?" she asked pealling a potato.  

[Lady_Conspiracy]

Moth sat and listened intently, The forgotten city... it rang in her head the reason she was here. About two weeks ago, the gypsies she was travelling with became lost in the wilderness, the wagon stuck on a ditch. Moth had left to find help, but when she had returned the gypsies were gone, and the camp torn apart. Shocked, Moth had left to find them, and instead found the city...

She smiled as she let the exotic butterflies settle on her like an old friend. The girls seemed friendly enough, so Moth decided to show herself, she would need more information, which they would provide her. She must have appeared half wild looking like one of the dear insects herself with her silvery cloak draped around her, and the butterflies resting quietly on her shoulders and hair.

"Yes, please, what is your business with the city?" She asked, with a half smile.

Kere chirped in her sparrow form as she hopped from branch to branch. Deemic was back watching the camp for her as she went off to investigate the noises. She tilted her head to the side to listen better, her sparrow form was not the best for spying but in these conditions would attract the least suspicion.

She hopped down a few branches and chirped again, listening intently. She would need to head back soon... Kere smiled inwardly to herself, as she flapped her little wings about and shook herself. Keep talking girls... she thought to herself.

Akira looked at the newcommer. a spy? she thought, no two, that bird in the tree over there isn't common in these parts. She squinded her eyes. "listen, before i explain this city, i suggest that everyone who is listening come over here and show yourselves, i am not going to say anything until i see every last person or creature in my sights." she sighed and stood up walking over to the tree with the bird. "i'm not stupid you know." she said looking at the bird.

Moth smiled and before sitting down repositioned her stave so it wouldn't drag across the ground, she sighed deeply and closed her eyes. "Moth." She explained calmly to the other girl also sitting. She looking around detached from the world. The insects fluttered around her, and even with the movement didn't shudder or fly away.

"My name's Moth." There was no last name, so at times, others became confused thinking she was speaking to herself or her dear insects.

Kere Fluttered nervously, and chirped, cocking her head, trying to play dumb. Her nerves glistened inside of her. Deciding she prefered honesty, she hopped from the tree and closer to the group before changing once more, first into a wolf, where she howled deeply, calling to Deemic to come over. And then into her human form.

"Well aren't you the smart one?" She asked, giving a half smile as Deemic crawled from their camp and onto her shoulders where he slung himself around her neck. She looked at the others, half with awe for knowing she was a shifter, the other half with some disdain. They weren't city folk, and nor where they attached in her kind of work. How was she to trust them if she couldn't know them?
