.personality. Bella has matured in to a kind, gentle spirited mare. She's young yet, and seems eternally optimistic over everything. She has trouble seeing darkness in a person and intrinsically trusts everyone which has been the cause of some misfortune in her life. Despite the trouble, she's kind and sweet hearted mare who would forgive in an instant and give a stranger the fur off her back if she could. Playful and mischievous, Bella knows how to be stubborn and stand up for her beliefs regardless of the opposition and tries her hardest to make the world a better place, one soquili at a time.
She has been through many a trial, from suffering under the ministrations of a kalona, to chasing love and finding love in return; her greatest blessing and joy are her sons - Raphe, Azuell and Penance. Watching them grow in to exmplary stallions has warmed her heart and given her a sense of purpose. She hopes to have more children though for now has happily taken up the role as grandmother. . .
.history. Bella hasn't a clue about her origins. Popping out of a basket during spring time, the pale girl had no family anxiously awaiting her arrival. There were no siblings to play with, no affectionate faces to greet her. Instead, there was sunshine, grass and her shadow and the little filly thought little of it. She knows not what happened, and though she understands she has to have had SOME family at some point, the young mare feels no bitterness about her rough beginnings - she survived and turned out well enough, or so she likes to believe.
Her foal hood was full of typical foal things though she never had an opportunity to make any close bonds of friendship. There was a young flutter that she went adventuring with, but otherwise she lived with her own imagination and games.
As an adult, her life has taken on a more interesting role. She's met more mares and stallions, though again, has made very few lasting friendships or relationships. The biggest change in her life was stumbling lost within a forest dwellers woods - it was there she met perhaps her most cherished friend, Azumoth. Her relationship with the stranger has been a fight since day one, but she refuses to give up on him and has found that her feelings towards him have grown substantially and significantly during their time together.
It's caused her grief, especially as she has no idea how to approach such a subject, but has kept it her secret. Ish. Sort of. What shall become of it, no one knows, but she's surely doing her best not to get her hopes up so as to avoid any disappointment down the road.
Recently she's matured in to a fabulous lady. She's matured, though shall always posses an optimistic outlook. She has chased down and found it in the most unexpected of places. Thankfully though, Azumoth's barriers were broken and she happily embraces him in her life. . . Without him, she wouldn't know entirely what to do. He's her rock, her confident and her most precious friend.
With him she's given birth to two sons and is happily playing the role as grand mother. Her life has been rather extraordinary and she loves every minute of it. It hasn't always been easy and there certainly has been dark times, but she has persevered through it all. Recently she has been given the title of Elder, due to her kind nature and vast knowledge. She loves to teach and help others, especially the younger generations, and has taken on this new role with delight.

.personality. Azuell inherited some of his father's lethargy. Very relaxed and usually patient, this stallion is often cool-headed and can be found with a good sense of humor. Unfortunately though, just because he often has a relaxed attitude doesn't mean he's a pushover. Like father like son, Azuell has absolutely no tolerance for any that are evil! Forgiveness isn't often in his vocabulary, and if one crosses this blue eyed stallion, good luck getting back on his good side.
Thankfully, those uglier traits are very rarely shown.
A family man through and through, Azuell often needs encouragement to chase his dreams. It isn't that he doesn't believe in himself, hardly, he just prefers to do things in his own sweet time. And if Azuell keeps to form, his own sweet time can take years and years and years. . . .
Also, he loves to eat. He is a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to food, and enjoys partaking in the hobby daily.
.history. Azuell was born to Azumoth and Bella within the Haunted Grove in Islagiatt. His foalhood was fairly typical, but an unfortunate series of events meant that his brother and he were tested. An evil spirit that possessed their biological grandfather, Kiyoshi, attempted to possess the pair at the height of the adolescence and youth. Add Kiyoshi building forces and kidnapping Penance's beau, Numielle, and one could say Azuell's life wasn't very typical at all. Thankfully, after a great battle was had, Numielle was rescues, Kiyoshi driven off, and the spirit thought to be defeated.
After such an exciting coming-of-age, the blue eyed stallion found his life incredibly quiet without Kiyoshi. For a good while, he hung around his family and filled his days with grazing and napping. Oh, he'd train to keep his skills honed, but Azuell was never inspired to become a great knight or guardian. .rps. .filly.

Name: Azimene Age: 2 Mate Status: Single Children: None
Personality: Azimene is a mare that comes from a terribly large family, and a terribly protective family. As it is, she inherited her mother's charm and optimism, mixed with her father's sense of loyalty and honor. Between them both she inherited an insane amount of stubbornness, as well as a 0-tolerance policy when it comes to things that are evil, cruel, and generally bad news.
She is often spirited, bright, and loves nothing more to laugh. She can be terribly affectionate once her trust is earned, and she has learned to cherish and love the simple pleasures of life. Unfortunately, Azimene is also a mare compromised by her own body. As large as she is physical size, all thanks to her father's mutant blood, she is also quite frail and weak. Due to an incurable illness that wracks her body, she has been heavily sheltered, and as such has a vivid imagination. Her family grew up high in the hills that were difficult to reach, and while her herd is large, her family tends toward a more aloofe and isolated lifestyle. With few friends as a filly, the young filly had to make her own, and has a large imagination, overflowing to the brim with ideas.
There is a desperation within Azimene, a shadow that constantly haunts her, a fear of always being sickly and weak. This often causes her to stubbornly try to prove herself, that she need not let her illness hold her down. Unfortunately, it rarely ends well for the mare, and with age, she is slowly, grudgingly, beginning to accept her limitations
Brief History: Azimene is currently the only daughter of Bella and Azumoth. They were blessed by the spirits with seven children over the years, but with six brothers, it is safe to say this pale mare grew up protected and sheltered. This turned out to be both a blessing and a curse.
It was noticed from birth that she was sickly and unwell. No matter what they did to try to heal her, no matter what unicorn saw her, her disease continued to fester within her. It wasn't contageous, but it did render poor Azimene weak and sickly, as well as limited on what she could do or where she could go. In essence, this gentle-spirited mare was strapped within the peaks of the mountain, like a princess caught in a tower.
Life became rountine for the mare, and while she did not lack in love or company, she did yearn to prove herself. Furthermore, the companionship of family can't always compare to the adventures of making friends among strangers. . . Azimene yearned to be something more, and through the years made many an escape attempt.
It never ended well.
Most recently, Azimene's brother Tempest finally convinced her parents that he might escort his sister down to the plains of the Kawani, so she might get a vacation away. While the mare appreciated her brothers kindness, as soon as they made it to the plains, the black haired female made a break for it. This is her one chance to freely get to live in the Kawani, and while she plans on returning to her family and reuniting with Tempest, she isn't so swiftly going to give up this opportunity for independence.

Personality: Sunny is a very cheerful and chipper sort of individual. He is very large for a soquili, due to his mutant blood, but unfortunately is endlessly clumsy. He doesn't mean to trip over his own hooves or tail, but it inevitably seems to happen. Despite this, he is a good hearted individual, and is incredibly loyal to those that he meets! He is close to his sister, but unfortunately she leaves him baffled on many occasions. She inherited the brains, and Sunny . . .well . . . is just a little lacking.
It isn't that he's unintelligent! He just . . . doesn't . . . really. . .get it all the time. Things go over his head and he's often caught trying to figure out what he missed. To use a stereotype, one might call him just a little blond. He tends to be a little slow on the uptake and doesn't necessarily read cues well.
Despite being easily confused, Sunny comes from good stock. He's overall a gentle giant and a sweet heart. He'd do anything for anyone in need, and certainly wouldn't hesitate to offer aid or help. He'd like to save the world, but he also knows he's not exactly hero material. He's clumsy, he can be dense, and he's hardly very dashing or epic.
Still, he has big dreams and a big heart and hopes that maybe someday he can be something to somebody and make his family proud. Perhaps his biggest hurdle to get over is his self-doubt.
Brief History: Sunny has lived a fairly traditional sort of life. He grew up half of his life near the mountains, and the other half on the soft shores of the ocean. He prefers the latter lifestyle, enjoying the soft sands and the roar of the waters to harder ground elsewhere. For the most part he had a happy foal hood, and was close to his brother, sister, and parents.
Unfortunately, there weren't many soquili who stumbled upon their ocean-side retreat, so he didn't have many friends. It was only after his sister left that Sunny realized how much he had depended upon her. He himself wishes he was more bold an individual, but he going off on adventures isn't something he's sure he's ready for. He's clumsy and not necessarily the brightest bulb out there. . . .
Most recently he's been exploring farther and farther away from home. Anything to break up the monotony of the day.

.personality. Eponine is a kind mare that lives in a world of light. As a foal she was very imaginative and dreamy, and often spent hours of her day with her head lost in the clouds. Sweet natured and bright, the young filly grew in to a mare that kept a devoted kindness to the world. No one could do any wrong in her eyes, she believed firmly that one should be forgiven time and time again.
For awhile, the young mare was a bit of a mess. Brokenhearted and guilty, the young mare felt as if she was the worst mother to walk the planet. Though her children are long grown, she only knew one of them and Cassiel still often avoids her to this day. She still wonders about her son, and Ezriel, and can't help but wish everything had turned out differently.
Unfortunately, life is what it is, and the young mare was forced to accept her fate. She is still trying to draw herself out of her shell, and while her tears aren't nearly as frequent, she still wishes her daughter hadn't abandoned her. She knows not what Cassiel is up to but has not clue where in the kawani her daughter might be.
Most recently Eponine has been trying hard to understand her lot in life. A fallen angeni, Raiju, came to her and admitted that he had loved her and watched her for many years. His heart was her own and though Eponine tried to dismiss such a wild claim she also fears if it is true. . . For how could someone love a mare like her?
.history. Eponine was born and raised within the heart of the mountains in winter to Cosette and Twilight. She was born with two brothers, Zevach and Marius, and couldn't have been more loved. The young filly had a fantastic foalhood, filled to the brim with playmates and adventure, and perhaps most importantly, daydreaming.
The young filly knew exactly how her life was going to go . . . she would grow up, she would fall in love, and she would have her own most precious family.
Unfortunately, ,things didn't work out as planned.
Sweet and ever trusting, it was only a matter of time before she got hurt. . . . The pain came in the form of a stallion, Ezriel, a chance meeting allowing her to see in to the depths of his broken soul. Her heart broke to see the pain inflicted upon the other, and Eponine couldn't help but want to try to save him. Ezriel, not quite in his right mind or using the best of judgment, took comfort within Eponine . . . .
And pregnancy was the result.
Shocked, confused and incredibly guilty, Eponine must admit her regret. She was too young to be a mother and the fact that Ezriel took her colt son, Rue, and left to find his 'true love' hurt. Abandoned and stuck keeping their odd and most miserable daughter on her own, the young mare had no choice but to return home to her family.
Not much has changed for the mare. She still stick close to Zevach and Twilight's territory, delighting in their joys while hiding from the world. She fears making poor choices and that the world continues to judge her for her behaviour towards Cassiel. .rps.

.personality. Chandar has never known much kindness. Due to his lonely upbringing and various pratfalls in life, he has become a cold and bitter soul. He seems to hate everything and does his best to push anyone and everyone out of his life.
It is less complicated that way, he doesn't want to feel their touch of pity or the sting of future betrayal. There is a deeper stallion, a much more emotional and even kind creature somewhere beneath his outer layers of hate, but it isn't easy to reach. Furthermore, Chandar does his best to forget such goodness exists within him.
Avoidant and distant, with a rather snarky and quick temper, this stallion is what happens to the forgotten, the neglected and the loathed. It will take a special someone to draw out any tenderness. It isn't impossible, but it is certainly not easy.
.history. Chandar was abandoned in his basket, left amongst the brambles to die. He didn't realize his lot in life until he met a few adult soquili and a little filly by the name of Raina. He became friends with the unicorn, and at that point was still a very happy-go-lucky and incredibly energetic individual.
Unfortunately, he met her mother and realized that there was something he lacked. A family. The foal, until that day, and figured that all soquili were like him - tending to themselves, figuring out life as it happened and doing ones best to get by. Unfortunately, he realized that Raina was cared about. . . . . Loved.
Where were his parents and family?
After parting ways with the little filly, Chandar continued to be optimistic. He would find his family who had parted ways with him. He too would soon be loved.
But such a fate wasn't meant to be. As the months passed fall turned in to winter and the young colt found himself half-frozen and starving. All the adults he met turned him away and it was out of desperation he found a small herd of colts and fillies just like him. Orphans. They stuck together in loose chaos, and allowed im to trail them. It was through their bitter and twisted reality that Chandar soon became a thief, stealing from villages to survive the winter. It wasn't an easy place to live, there were constant fights and squabbles, and Chandar wasn't a very prominent member. But he learned to accept that his parents were either dead, or more likely, had abandoned him to the elements.
No one cared except for themselves.
As he grew, he finally left the small gang. Any hope at finding friendship, at finding care was spurned and every passing winter left Chandar colder than before. He is argumentative, angry and quite bitter. . . . He also doesn't give a damn about any but himself.
Most recently, he met a skinwalker, Howl. She abused him, and half-killed him, leaving him to die. As fate would have it, he failed even at death and was stumbled upon by an old acquaintence. The mare, Beatrice, sought out the aid of Kaiya and Galahad, an angeni and unicorn, whom healed the worst wounds. It kept him from death. . . . and has most recently kept him in the care of Beatrice.

RPS:
1.Winds Chatter This is one of Kaiya's very first RPs. She meets a kalona mare, Pascale, and you get an idea of her lifestyle, of her thoughts, and her personality. Kaiya is young at this point, without much experience in the Kawani lands. In it she mentions life, her path, her choice to walk and save the damned, and how much she hopes she may SOMEDAY be out of a job. She is young and still a bit naive.
2.Kindred Spirits This is an RP where Kaiya, still new to the land, meets a particularly disturbed individual. Styx the kelpie is a little bit difficult to approach and Kaiya has to come up with a new tactic to reach out to him, to make sure he's all right. In addition to this, they come across a fire, and Kaiya doesn't hesitate to help where she can.
3.This Isn't Normal In this RP, once again, Kaiya meets a very skittish and abused mare. Rynia has lived a life full of fear and discouragement, and Kaiya wants nothing more than to reach out and help. While she is used to trying to save and redeem those who are threats to others and aggressive, in this case, she desires to save a soul that is far from harmful. Unfortunately, it doesn't end exactly as she wishes and she learns a valuable lesson -- to THINK before she speaks, especially around those that are ever, ever, aware.
This one never got finished, but I post it show the intention had been for Kaiya to continue to meet her and attempt to draw her out of her shell. .__. Unfortunately RL didn't let us actually complete that task. But in those couple of posts, it does highlight her desire and want to help this fragile soul.
5.The End Is Only The Beginning - Kaiya doesn't appear until near the end of the RP. But this is where her life begins to change. It's as shorter RP, but up until now, Kaiya has lived alone. She had mentioned breaking up a prior betrothal as she was dedicated to her work, and her life was to live for OTHERS and not for herself. But in this RP she finds a foal that is in desperate need. . . .and much to her surprise, she decides to guard him, to take him on as her own. Kaiya learns that the spirits are full of surprises. . . . and though there is loss, there can be most unexpected love.
6. The Tension and the Terror - This RP takes place after Sirian has grown into independence. By this time, she has also taken on a stallion as a mentor -- the young unicorn Galahad. She and Galahad only make a cameo in this RP, but once again, it showcases her determination to help others, anywhere, anytime.
7.Fragile Angel Wings - With Sirian long since grown, the spirits grant Kaiya a boon. They lead her to yet another creature in need, but this time, there is no blood. . . only a single basket, abandoned in the winter snows. Once again, she is called upon to care for another foal, to take a reprieve from her duties.
8.Saving the World One Soquili at a Time In this particular RP, Kaiya is met with an Usdia. This is part of a plot where Kaiya befriends an usdia mare, Esta. This short RP touches upon their families, and Kaiya touches upon how the spirits surprsied her with three . . . . but, it also touches upon the regret of her path. She is and forever will be dedicated to the cause of her domain. . . but that doesn't mean it's easy to do.
This is a very, very short RP. It probably doesn't even count. But the intention of this RP had been to reunite Kaiya with Raiju, the one she had once been betrothed with. In this RP they were to reunite, and she would make good on her promise she made as a very young filly. ._. Unfortunately, Kijani quit before this RP came to pass. . . I post this here simply as proof that Kaiya is a mare of her word. Even though times changed, even though she knows she must be dedicated to her path . . . her promises aren't so easily forgotten.
10.Time They Are a Changing This RP is still ongoing (Cajmera is just busy IRL) but the bit that we have completed shows Kaiya's innate trust in the spirits to guide her where her hooves need to go. Furthermore, she meets a fellow angeni spirit, and she speaks of her views of the angeni lifetstyle. How there is a different attitude and lifestyle in the angeni of old and the angeni of new. . . . and Kaiya, for one, has kept her dedication to her domain.
Kaiya is a spiritual being, and as such, often accepts her life as it comes. Here, she meets a young stallion by the name of Tannin Nox. She finds in him not just a new friend, but a new apprentice to mentor -- though she is no knight, she agrees to take him on to train him spiritually for his chosen lot in life.
12.Persistance Is Futile This is a post-battle RP, after Tannin and Kaiya have been driven off by a kalona herd for her preaching at them. This RP focuses on her training Tannin patience, but also delves in to the more negative and insecurities of her position. It isn't easy being a domained angeni, and shows that even pure beings as devoted to their jobs as Kaiya has been and will be, doesn't mean she's without wonder, worry, or even a little regret.
Kaiya most recently stumbles upon her brother. . . her brother who is quite evil, and quite a nasty individual. In this, she is reminded that just because blood is thicker than water (or so the saying goes) she need to remember her place, remember her patience, and prepare herself for a long fight. . . It won't be easy redeeming him, but she is determined.

Personality: Jytosna is a product of a strict upbringing, as well as a rigid social-caste system. Her earliest memories are of struggle, trying to find her way and place, alone and cold in the world. Thankfully, she was rescued by a cerynei herd who discovered the girl and decided to take her in. Due to their prejudiced natures about species and appearance, Jyotsna wasn't raised with a family and was taught to believe she was eternally in their debt, and she should always remember her place beneath them.
Due to this, she is a fairly aloof individual when alone or kept to her own devices. She is a bit submissive at the moment, with little confidence and a sense of no real self-worth or value. She was, in theory, a bit brainwashed by the strict herd and unfortunately believes it. She's never experienced life without them, and truly does think she's ugly and only tolerated company.
Despite this, she really does have a good heart. She is a hard worker, and does what she is told without much complaint. She defends those that have given her a life, even if it was strict and callous to others views, and would just as easily defend a new friend. Loyalty is something this alicorn has never lacked.
She is unaccustomed to being without a herd, and as such her time in the Kawani is laced with uncertainty and some anxiety. She is a stranger in a strange new world, and wants nothing more than to find her missing herdmate and return to the world she better understood.
Brief History: As stated previously, Jyotsna's earliest memories were of struggle, hunger, an cold. She knew no family, and knew nothing of the world until she was discovered by a cerynei herd. This herd wasn't accustomed to dealing with non-cerynei, but they understood they couldn't just leave the abandoned foal to its death. After a council, it was decided they would take her in and allow her to live within the herd.
This did not mean she was a member.
She was granted no family, no parents, and was raised by many assigned to her care. Early on she was reminded day in and day out how honored she should feel to be allowed to live amongst this most honorable herd. Because the royal cerynei family were wind-hybrids, and Jyotsna a natural healer due to her unicorn heritage, she was chosen to be the handmaiden of one of the young royal daughters.
Wherever the young wind-cerynei female went, Jyotsna was to follow. She did what her friend wanted to do, and didn't ask questions. She was to heal her when she grew injured or ill, and was to do whatever task she might be given. Jyotsna relented, because she remembered the hunger, the cold, the lonliness of life before her acceptance in to the herd. And she truly did believe she owed the cerynei her life, so she would eternally make it up for them.
Unfortunately for Jyotsna, she really was just an odd face looking in. When not with her ward, she was kept to her own devices and treated more like a servant or pet. She was often described as ugly or hideous due to her silver and grey coat (the preferred colors of the cerynei herd were warm browns and golds); she was awkward in build compared to the lithe bodies of the cerynei, and was always told to remember her place. Which she did, and does to this day.
While she might not be happy (she doesn't realize there is any other way of life out there) she also knows she likely wasn't deserving of such happiness. Why else would the spirits dismiss her family? Why else would she have been abandoned or made to be alone? It makes sense, due to her lack of confidence, and she refuses to take for granted the only home she was given.
Most recently, her ward (now an adult as well) decided to go for a flight. With Jyotsna in tow, the outgoing cerynei-wind decided to fly far from the herd, and in to lands unknown. Jyotsna pleaded with her to return, but her companion would have none of it. To make matters worse, a severe storm built up unexpectedly and swiftly crashed upon the mares. The winds were strong and severe, and despite Jyotsna's attempt to stick with her friend, they got seperated and thrashed around. Crashing to the ground, lost in the woods of the kawani, the mare blacked out and came to hours later.
She had no idea where her friend was, no idea what land they were in, and has been on the hunt for her companion ever since. She fears the worst, but knows she can't return to the cerynei herd (even if she knew how to get to them) without their royal member.

The Tension and the Terror (Kaiya, Galahad, Chandar, Beatrix This RP has Galahad making a cameo in it with Kaiya. He helps heal a broken down regular who had an encounter with a skinwalker. This RP showcases that he's still a healer through and through--even when the patient, or patient's friend, is less than hospitable.

He is reunited with an old companion, but also discusses that loneliness had brought him home, and looks to some old memories of their past--and has hopes to forge new ones.
A Journey (Nita x Galahad) Nita has leftt--much like Galahad did when he was younger. She asks him to accompany her on her own journey, and his worldly experience is now starting to come in handy! He agrees, and once again, is ready to explore again.
With Light Comes Shadow (Nita, Galahad, Kieran) - Nita and Galahad's journey leads them into a kalona--who is not at all happy to see them! A battle ensues, and Galahad is able to help protect Nita--even as she proves to be a force all her own. Post-attack, Galahad considers where the spirits might be guiding him. Once again, he puts Nita before himself, and proves to be the pinnacle of a good knight.
The Eye of the Storm (Amarinne x Galahad) This is an RP that never quite got going, but it shows Galahad using his healing abilities. Skinwalkers attacked part of the Elderwillow Camp, and he isn't afraid to jump in and help those who are hurt and dying.
Make Me a Knight (Mikaru x Galahad) Galahad stumbles upon a stallion who is in need of aid. Not physically, but in terms of guidance, and perhaps a bit of emotional support. Galahad offers to become Mikaru's mentor and teacher--and to hopefully help mold him into a better stallion. Just as Kaiya took him under her wing, he will now take Mikaru under his--figuratively speaking.
The World As It Is (Kaiya x Galahad) Galahad reunites with his old mentor, the Angeni of Redemption after many years of being apart. They discuss a bit about the past, and a little about the future--and what that might mean. Things finally come full-circle for the stallion.

Why would your Soquili (IC) choose the Elder path? Galahad isn't choosing to be an Elder and wouldn't be the sort to seek it out. Everything he does is because he simply believes it to be the right thing to do. He's always wanted to save the world, and do good deeds, as that was his inherant heroic and fearless nature. But such a task is large for a single being, and the road to greatness wasn't always easy. Saving others was more than defeating a villain, or rescuing a damsel. Sometimes it was simply being an ear to listen to another woes; sometimes it meant healing those who never would thank you; sometimes. At the end of the day, though, Galahad always was a stallion meant to serve. He could heal with his horn, defend with his hooves, or guide others with his experience. He began as a young, eager youth, but has grown in many different ways over time. He's a reliable being and will always be there to serve others--Elder or not..
Why have you chosen the Elder path for your Soquili OOC? Galahad has had a surprising amount of development. He's come a long way from simply being an accessory to my Angeni of Redemption. He is always looking for ways he can help others, and is a selfless and caring soquili. . Not only has he shown that he's ready and willing to heal those in need--but he's a protector through and through. He's happy to use his father, Crousader's, training to help anyone out of a jam--and is also well rounded on a spiritual level, thanks to his time with Kaiya. Additionally, he's more than happy to share his experience, talents, and wisdom with those that need it most. He's become more patient than he was to start, and though he spent some time in his life unsure of where or what to do next, he carried on and inevitably found his way. He might have returned to his homelands, but he is not inactive, nor is he inaccessible. He can change the world little-by-little, by guiding those he comes across, and protecting those under his care. Be it family or stranger, Galahad will have your back. He's grown up, and instead of seeing the world in black and white, or feeling he has to be as great as his old Angeni companion--he has made peace with his life journey, and shares his experiences willingly. He might not lead an army, but I think he stands out as an exemplary stallion based on his breed. He has the heart of a unicorn as both warrior and guardian; healer and defender. Life hasn't always gone his way, but he's always made the best of his situation, and has, what I feel, traits that would make him a fine Elder.
