Burning Lust

Banquo cocked an ear to the angel's question.
"Ophelia..." Ophelia heard her name, grasped the meaning in Ban's thoughts and pulled her gaze to the angel.
"Hell No."
"They'll underestimate you."
"Banquo." Her eyes flashed to her mate, "No."
"You're the stronger, love. If they underestimate you..."
"Banquo, I will not wear a leash!" Her growl was menacing enough. Her mate didn't stand down. He was still talking quietly enough. Eventually he prevailed upon her.

"I'll be the sentient. She'll be the...uhm...pet." Banquo carefully avoided the word 'dumb'.

Xylanthos: "Unfortunately Adira, there's a thing called 'leash laws'..."

While Xylanthos explained that, Galantros offered to get a collar, and portal'ed out of the place to purchase one. Minutes later, he came back with a blackish-red leather looking one, with a red gem in it's center. It looked rather decent, all things considered (It seemed that he learned a lesson or two in fashion from Black a while ago.)

"I tried to pick one that wasn't too expensive, nor too trashy looking... So... how are we going to make it breakable?"

Rosemary took the collar and started to make the leather thin in a spot on the inside with a finger nail. "If she can't break it, she can burn it off..."

When she was done she handed it to Adira to put it on the wolf... no one was willing to try that themselves... With the collar and leash on, BlackMN reminded Ophelia that she could still pick something out in hopes of cheering her up slightly and offered to be on a leash too, off they went (depending on how Ophelia responds to that Black is either normal or in a large red fox form with one of her collars on).

Adira crouched down on the floor, careful (For once) that none of her voluptuous body peeked out from under the robe. She stroked Ophelia's fur and looked into the Hound's amber eyes.

"Thank you." A whisper.

Adira's nimble fingers figured out the collar and she buckled it around Phe's neck, not too tight, not too loose. Adira stood up again just in time to witness Ophelia shake herself. "You're already like a pet dog." Adira teased. Adira looked up and blushed as everyone stood around them. She'd forgotten she was in a room of people. Ophelia let out a soft sigh and sat down.

As the little kitsune approached, Phe's body stayed collected and cool. Once she heard Black's offer however...her head tilted and her tail wagged just slightly. Carefully, Ophelia stuck out her tongue and licked Black's hand. She found an almost kinship with the fox girl.

As the group left, Ophelia pulled Adira along via the leash as she followed the large red fox.

"Woah, woah! Black! Heheh.... Oh uh, geeze... Black, those weren't just 'birds', those were sentient beings..."

As the 'birds' flew off, one of them whispered "What an ill mannered mutt!" to the other, once they thought they were out of ear-shot. Apparently, whatever species they were had a very short hearing range, for even GL could hear what they said. He scratched Black behind the ears and shouted after them.

"She's not ill mannered! She's just excitable!"

All the while, Eztli had taken some time to explain a few things about Limbo to Adira, for which she had a few questions about.

"Where we were, was the Soul Fortress... it's been around since... Well, a very long time. Currently we're in a city called Kithos. All of Limbo's cities are pretty big, too... around the size of small worlds or realms at least..."

Finally, they came across a boardwalk of stores. All sorts of sights, sounds, and smells greeted them. Food from vendors and resturaunts, music from electronics and music stores, people walking around with a few bags of items.... hardly anyone carried much, thanks to pocket dimension tech... And the varieties of species, human, vampire, robotic, some demon types that even Adira recognized, various strange aliens of different shapes and colors, all walking and milling about, living their lives. A small group of fariy like individuals passed by them, idly talking about the weather.

Jacob looked around, and "aha'd" once he found a particular store called "All Cover Themselves"
As they entered, they realized it was a VERY large store, Jacob mentioning that it was a store that specialized for almost every species in the known universe, even doing custom work. It was where some of his demon friends got their clothing in the past. An employee came by, noticed their "pets", and politely pointed out a sign, mentioning that any leashed animals should be well behaved, or be taken outside. The employee then noticed Banquo, and asked why he wasn't on a leash when Black and Ophelia were.

Adira didn't have to speak as Banquo, quite miffed, spoke for himself.

"Sentient being, thank you very much." He said this smartly. Ophelia stood next to him, copying what Black did to strangers. Her tail thumped against the floor as she sat down.

A child walked by with her mother and noticed (Or rather heard) Ophelia.

"MOMMY! Can I pet the puppppy?! Pllllleeeeaaassse" The half reaper, half shadow demon child asked. Her mother looked toward Ophelia, then to Adira then to the rest of the assortment of people in the group. The Shadow demon sighed, knowing her child wouldn't give up.
"Ask the nice lady holding the leash if you can." Was her quiet answer. The child practically bounced over.
"Can I pet your puppy?" She noticed a glare from her mom, "I mean...Can I pet your puppy, please?" She looked up into Adira's green-grey eyes with innocence--as did Ophelia, Banquo, and probably everyone else in the group.

Adira's cheeks rose in color. She nodded, not trusting her voice. The child squeaked happily and sat on the floor and started to pet Phe's head. After watching the child for a moment, Adira squatted as well.

"She really likes it right behind the ears like this." She said softly, showing the child. The little girl's hand moved to do what Adira said and Ophelia's tail was pounding the floor for real this time. She leaned into the girl's hand. Adira stood with satisfaction. And you thought this was going to be hard on you, she smirked and sent to Ophelia. Phe was in too much pleasure to respond.

Adira's gaze traveled back up to the store. Dear God in heaven this place was huge. Her eyes were round. Where did she start?

The entire store seemed to have everything in the way of clothing and accessories. For a little while, everyone seemed to be at a loss of where to start. Abigail thought about it though, and made one simple statement.

"Underwear."

"....Excuse me?"

"The girl's going to need underwear before she can try on any real clothing, right? Come on, Sephiroth, help us find the ladies underwear department!"

Galantros couldn't help but laugh just a tiny bit at Sephiroth's situation. He quickly cleared his throat, and tried to act nonchalant though.

"Us women can easily handle helping you with this part Adira and I'm sure there's someone above to measure you for us to figure out your size.... you boys can just wait down here," she stared at Eztli while she said this.

Eztli blinked a couple of times, then shook his head.

"What? What'd I do?"

It wasn't like he'd been hitting on Adira or anything...

"You're obviously paranoid Eztli because I had said 'you boys can just wait down here,' not 'Eztli wait down here."

You raised your eyes at Abigail's suggestion, gained a slight glazed look, and then started looking around for it too enthusiastically.

Well...Adira was oblivious to say the least. She didn't even know what bra and underwear were...unless...

"oh, is 'underwear' like a loincloth?" Hope not...those things are scratchy... She was thinking when they'd been talking (and when Eztli pulled his stunt). She'd been trying to figure out what these people were talking about...Adira had never stepped a foot out of Hell.
