Exactly. A couple years ago I took a GLBT Lit class (it's offered every spring quarter by an AWESOME professor who has eyes like Sinatra). We were in a slightly isolated building on campus. Because I was walking with D, and she's very butch and makes no apologies (nor should she have to) it was assumed that I was gay and also her younger lover. We had guys tell us some freaky scary things. "You just don't know what it's like to be with a real man." "I'll make you feel like a woman" ect. D's jaded to the point she ignores them, and I can kinda get not responding so you don't egg them on. But our prof threw a hissy fit to rival all hissy fits in the security office. His class now has the Security's head guy near the building before, during, and after his Lit class every semester.

I pretty much heard it all.

My friends once show a picture of me to their dad and he asked them is I was high because of how my eyes naturally look (yeah thanks).

Once I was at the mall, I was wearing a shirt and tie with a jacket that originally went with a skirt but it was too cold, so I wore pants (I think it was when I was out of town and only had so many clothes with me as it was a short say) and I heard girls saying something to me about being a lesbian or wanting to be a man or something.

Some people claimed I was a slut without even really knowing me.

Damn, I realized that I had a lot of rumors about it throughout high school. sweatdrop Once said rumor actually lead to a fight (physical fighting) with another girl. They were the ones that started the fight by the way.
