xxxxxxKenji got to the hospial, she was snuggling Haki pretty good in her arms while the two girls followed, cheeks were pinched, face smothered by her cheek. She set Haki down finally and talked to the receptionist before she told them where the girl's father was. She escorted them up the stairs and to their father. "Hello? Your these girl's father?" She bowed to the anbu because they were much higher ranked then the poor genin of herself.

Still not used to being manhandled by a girl, Haki was bright pink by the time they reached Kein's room. Toki and Chiyo flung themselves through the entrance and onto their father's bed, careful of his injuries but curling up next to him "Kein-sama...you....you got hurt?" Haki asked, unsure how to take such a realization. He eyed the ruined armor with a worried eye and then looked at the Anbu, not sure what to make of this one. He wore a mask, unlike Kyo, so it was strange to see an emotionless mask "Thank you, Kenji-sama...good luck finding a place." he bowed politely to her but kept out of grabbing range by going around to the other side of Kein's bed to bow. He looked at Kein nervously, noting the change in "What happened to your hair?" he asked, confused by the change. He was fairly certain his mother hadn't given Kein a haircut before attacking.

I will defy the ways of my family, destroy the preconceptions others have placed upon me and remain my own till I fall.

Akatsuki had been informed th elocated the children Kein spoke of and that they were already on there way to the Hospital. He ordered the Anbu to let them in once they got here. Akatsuki stood watching the interaction. He noticed the horns on the boy as he looked at him. Wanting to know more about the situation that had brought them all to Yuki. But he supposed in due time this would all be explained. For now he stayed back and quiet watching how Kein interacted with the boy. He was obviously not related but the girls shared many of his characteristics. And why else would he come all the way to Yuki for some children.

Kein smiled wide as his two daughters jumped up into the bed with him. He hugged the tightly and kissed their foreheads and simply laughed. He had done it. He had given them a future away from the betrayals of Kumogakure. He continued to nuzzle them both for a few second before he looked up at haki and the girl as his daughters snuggled up against him. He nodded to them and said,"Yes, You have both done me a great service weather or not you know it. By taking in my daughters and by protecting them Haki, this village and you have earned my gratitude and respect. Thank you. " He smiled at Haki lightly and said," I think i may have trained those onin a little to well cheeky bastards just didn't want to give up so I had to fight em. Couple of em nicked me but I will be fine. As for my hair in order to seal up one of my wounds they had to trim it back a bit. At first I was pissed but now I am cool with it. Kinda like it even. " His mood then turned as he looked over to the anbu," But something more than that I saw quite a few large groups of bandits and other low life scum massing on my way over here. I believe they intend to attack. I will aid in your villages defense as best I can, Think if it as my way of repaying your kindness for all you have done for me. Besides I think with a sannin on your side you stand a bit better chance of holding them back. " He continued to stroke his daughters hair happily it was obvious that no matter what anyone said about him it couldnt be said that he didnt love them.

Haki shifted uncomfortably with under the Anbu's gaze, putting a hand up to cover one small horn. He looked even more uncomfortable as Kein thanked him "....There's going to be more fighting?" he asked quietly, clearly not sure how to take that. At least, he consoled himself, it didn't seem like it would be anyone from Kumogakure. "What do you want the girls to do while the fighting is happening?" he asked, wondering if Kein would require him to help or if he'd be put back in charge of protecting the man's daughters. At the mention of Onin, Haki's anxiety became clearer as he stepped a little closer "Onin? Then....you....you didn't hurt my mother did you?" despite the disillusionment of her to him, Haki still loved his mother. She was his mom, after all....it was impossible for him not to love her. He had his hands in his pockets but they clenched into fists in fear, knowing full well that Kein would do anything that was necessary. After all....he'd had no problem mentally torturing Haki moments before he'd fought Doki.

xxxxxxKenji smiled and nodded, glad she could help them. "No problem sir! E-Erm a attack? Dear god...." She was defintly not going to fight because she hadn't trained lately, she just graduated too! It was why her headband around her waist looked so new and shiny.

Akatsuki turned to Kenji when she heard the news of the attack. Of course the anbu had been keeping track of the bandit amassing. Lord Keiji had already told them what the plans for the village was. Though he dislike it, maybe with Kein here they could change it or at least make it better."Don't worry about the fighting you will be evacuating citizens."His voice that became much sterner."Also know this information is a secret to the general public, we don't want to cause a panic."

Kein brushed Toki's hair for a second then he spoke," I have yet to figure that out. I may have you escort them out. I don't want you to have to have blood on your hands unless you have to. Your a good kid and taking the life of another is a traumatic event. Your mother is fine, not a scratch on her to be honest. I took care of any onin that were coming so they wont be able to track us." Kein turned to the girl and said," Yes without a doubt and its your duty to contribute to the fight. weather or not you fight directly or help with whatever evacuation plan they have." He looked at the anbu and said," Inform your Yukikage that I want to speak to him. I truly do belive I can help you hold this city. Even if it seems lost there is a good number of defensive locations from which I can hold them off if not counter attack. The only question is how much time and how many men he has." Toki looked up at him scared, she knew what he was saying and that he would be in harms way once more. Kein kissed her on the forehead and said," Daddy will be fine, the are just bandits. " He ruffled her hair a bit to get her to smile before looking back to the others.

The stress went out of Haki like water out of a new faucet and he doubled over, hands on his knees, head down. He took several deep breaths then looked up with an expression of pure relief "Thank you..." he said. He straightened up, clearly a weight lifted from his shoulders "I don't know if there would be anywhere safe to take them outside of the village..." he said quietly, looking at Toki and Chiyo nervously "If I take them out....we could get caught by the bandits. I was lucky to get through without them finding us the first time...but that was probably because they weren't concerned with people going in. They don't want people going out though..." he pointed out, his arms wrapped around himself and rubbing his hands around in self-comforting circles "I...I don't want to kill anyone but...but if its not an option....I'll do what I have to. Its not like I haven't seen death before..." he said, not hiding the barb of hate that stung on its way out. He was still haunted by those images and probably would never, ever, not be.

xxxxxxKenji rubbed the back of her neck, nervous if bandits attacked but this father guy said even if she couldn't fight then she could help get citizens out. "Thanks, um I never got your name? If you have to, I'll help Haki get your girls out, me and a friend can assist them out." She folded her hands infront of her, being polite to the guy, she wanted to do something to help this village if they would be attacked and if it ment helping Haki and the girls again then she'd do it.

A smile spread across Keins face as he nodded and said," When the assault breaks I want you to take them to Konohagakure. Go STRAIGHT to the Hokage. Tell him Kein Uchiha will be along shortly and to give him my regards as the leader of his Uchiha. I dont want you leaving unless I can create a whole big enough or you spot a chance you believe you can make it." He looked to the girl and said," Oh forgive me. I am Uchiha Kien. A pleasure to meet you." He looked back at Haki and said," When this is all said and done there is something I want to do for you if you will allow me."

Haki still wasn't fully behind the idea of running madly out of one village only to move on and on to others but "All right..." he said quietly, preparing himself mentally to run when the time came. He didn't mind being a babysitter. He liked Toki and Chiyo both equally and was rather pleased to still be able to help the girls. Especially now that Kein had said his mother was unharmed...truth be told, and he would never tell, he'd been prepared to do something...drastic if his mother had been hurt. As Kein continued, Haki titled his head "So long as you don't get in my head again, I'm ok with it." he said warily, indicating he did not want any genjtutsu-ing of his mind. If it was any kind of taijutsu, then he was eager to learn "What is it?" he asked, curiosity kicking in like a bad hangover.
