Celeste smiled brightly at Tona and squeezed her hand, "Oh Tona, your always under thinking yourself, Your beautiful, Cider would be lucky." she replied telepathically, in a supportive tone, "You know I'm always there for you, even in this kind of thing, you should... you should go for it." her smile had almost faded, but she kept it on, Celeste started walking through the street dragging Tona to the fabric shop, "Now come on, I'm going to make you the most beautiful jacket ever~" she winked giggling, "It'll do wonders for your curves." she teased, trying to cheer Tona up. She liked it when Tona was happy, so she tried her best to cheer her up as much as she could.

Samantha gave Regina her best smile, pulling the water guardian into a gentle hug and managing to not flinch, the horror of a bathrobe giving her enough padding to not notice the frostbite. "Reggie, if you're still upset about yesterday, it's OK. I'm fine, and I'm sure cider can clear up this little frostbite without too much trouble. You did most of hte work protecting everyone, so be happy, okay?" Samantha couldn't help but giggle a little, giving her best smile, though she was interrupted by another loud grumble from her stomach. "Hey... want some waffles, Reggie? I'll break out my stash..."

Cider felt the disappointment in Dayonta's reply, but was glad she would be able to deal with it that evening. Why don't we have dinner out on the zenith balcony, just the two of us? Then you we can talk at length, uninterrupted. I know how much you value your privacy. With that, she heard the engine rev again and soon Daytona tore off with her two passengers. Now then... to that niggling thought.
Cider returned to a sunbeam in the lounge, thankful for a moment that she was immune to the damage of UV rays in this enhanced, deified state of being. She had a book bound in brushed carmine leather and a fountain pen; in her left hand she held the runstone Thurisaz, stave of contemplation and counter-defense, the meditative entry point to the 'inner giant' who buoys confidence during trying times; within the same fist she held a rough sliver of sapphire: rare, immensely strong and a talisman against bloodshed; she breathed slowly, clearing her thoughts, asking that the energies she required make their way from her left hand to her right, and into her pen.
At length, she tightened her grip on the instrument, brought it to the page, and began to write. She wrote of her sisters, of her Self, of the ebb and flow of the world that moved beneath her as though lightly rocking a small boat. Her empathy with the physical was greater than the sum of her peers', although ethereal matters were somewhat above her ken, and so her contemplation lay heavily upon her, a load she felt capable of bearing.

When all was said and done, Cider had covered three pages with various writings, the pages warmed by the sunbeam and the heat of her hand that had moved at varying speeds across the rough paper. Placing the pen down, she cocked her head against the silence, feeling that there were still bodies in the house with her, but unable to hear them. Well, perhaps they did not want to be heard, she mentally shrugged.
Slowly she folded away her esoterica, then moved to the kitchen, turning over ideas for slow-cooking food that would breach the time of her sisters' absence. Presently she decided on a soup and began to choose items from the crisper drawer. Her ears were still alert for noise from her housemates, and in some slight annoyance with this tendency of hers, she began to sing to herself, forcing inner absorption. The song was blues-based with a steady, strong rhythm, like the sounds she had grown up with in the desert.
"Mother spent ten years sitting by a window Scared if she spoke she would die of a heart attack She listened as her dreams silently screamed They drowned like little dolphins caught in a fishnet Dear world I'm pleased to meet you ..."
