Rebecca waited for Andrea to answer, then gave a sigh when she finally did. "Hey." She says, more causal then usual. Her eyes went to her door, glaring now as she could still hear her! "One sec...." She says with a growl, grabbing her bag as she went out the window. With the jump, she quickly gave a text to Samantha telling her to meet her outside her house not to go in. Please don't go inside..ugh..right, I'm on the phone. "Anyways, the other day...we were going to talk before Samantha came over and we had to switch subjects. I was calling to check in on you. I'd hate for you to drown yourself with whatever is holding you back....not to...ugh, I'm trying to say that, we can finish with that talk if you need it." She struggled, face palming herself for not saying the right words.

Now it's only a mask

Abby giggled some as she walked in after Mav opened the door. "Are you sure? My mom made special cookies just for you and Arwin!" She giggled some more as she opened the cookie basket to show cookies cut out into different characters.

Maverick's eyes light up at the mention of cookies. "Really?!?!?! That's awesome. I totally want cookies! I can't actually say no to free food you know that." In the living room on the tv was a LotR game paused. He closed the door behind Abby and headed back over to the couch after taking a cookie. Also the faint sounds of "Check yes Juliet" could be heard coming off his ipod dock.

Abby smiled as he took a cookie. She didn't eat many sweets normally so she didn't eat one herself. She sat down next to him on the couch as she waited to see if Arwin would be there soon. She hoped so, After all, who would do both her and Mav's hair as well as their clothing. "It looks like your losing. I'll take over. Maybe then you will win." Abby giggled teasingly as she reached for the controller.

Maverick chuckled and said "I think not! I am not loosing I could totally own you at this and any other game!" He gave a playfull glare of challenge. He wondered how badly Abby wanted to go to that party going on tonight.

Rebecca listened to what she had to say, nodding silently. He hasn't messaged me either... She thought, curious now. But, she agreed with Andrea's theory of him needing space. She wouldn't tell her how he hadn't messaged her either though. "Alright~ I'll see you tonight. I'mma try to do what I can here too. Text me if you need anything else." She said to her, being friendly without noticing it herself. She said her goodbyes before hanging up, sitting in the front yard of her home.

'In the yard, can't wait for tonight!' She texted Samantha, making sure she knew where she was. In the back of her mind, her thoughts were on Nate. Curious if everything was really okay, and really wanted to talk to him. Maybe me and Sam can go visit? Like, soon... She thought smiling to herself.

Abby raised an eyebrow at the challenging glare. "You sure about that?" She said with an acceptance in her voice. It would definitely make the time go by. She wasn't actually thinking of the party she had been hearing about all week. Which was odd since it was Nate... And she couldn't help thinking about him... Though she was not at the moment. She was wondering if he would be okay with her beating him in a video game. The one thing of many that guys were stereo typically better than girls in.

Abby looked back to the doorway and smiled as her friend walked into Mav's house. "Why yes you did. And there is one shaped as Frodo's ring and sword, Sting. Just for you. She's a master when coming to that, but she seems to have made it glow blue in the light. I would believe it would be because she put blue icing or something inside." She said opening the cookie box for her friend. "Now, who is first?"
