Autumn just sat in her seat and twiddled her thumbs. The subject of history was interesting, unlike boring stuff about muggle politics or gruesome facts like wars and this battle and that battle. Before the Hufflepuff could answer though, it seemed that others had already answered the professor's question. Oh well. She was too slow, but didn't take it to heart. Concentrate, concentrate. The task at hand was to pay attention and focus on the lesson. Grades mattered, and she believed that she could perform way better if her mind didn't wander to some odd topics, or get distracted by the birds happily flying into the horizon.

-David Thoma Hershel had rushed to the History of Magic class with such enthusiasm and skip that he was surprised he hadn't tripped over his own feet or the doorframe as he rushed to get in, sit down and learn more about the fascinating subject of history. SItting himself in the most graceful fashion he could muster with a grin spreading so wide across his face, he was happy to see his familiar professor once again at the front of the class. WIth a polite nod he wasted no time in shooting his hand up to answer the wizard's question. "We learned a lot about the History of Hogwarts, as my classmates stated, and we also learned that about three hundred years after the school was founded, the Triwizard Tournament began between the three most prestigious magical schools in Europe: Hogwarts, The Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang. This tournament was considered the best way for wizards and witches of different nationalities to meet and socialise. The tournament continued for six centuries, until the death toll became too high, and the tournament was discontinued. In Harry Potter's fourth year, to be more specific." second year - slytherin

Anna turned sharply to see none other than Tobi run into the classroom. Was he, dare she say it, late? Insert dramatic gasp here! As he collapsed into his chair, she blinked a few times, watching him. It didn't take long for his head to hit the desk. She couldn't resist. Her finger found it's way to his face, and poked his squishy little cheek. "Tobi? You okay? Are you even alive?" she asked, giggling in her own amusement as she repeatedly poked her friend's face. Xavier's voice filled her left ear, and she turned to face him, still prodding her friend's cheek. "Yeah, I'm Annabeth. You can call me Anna, or Anne, or Annie, or Beth, or... whatever. I think you get the picture. No, we've never spoken before. Weird, right? We're in the same house, the same year, heck we even see each other on a daily basis, and we've never talked to each other before. Bizarre isn't it?" Anna shrugged her shoulders and looked back to Tobi. She sure hoped he would be okay. He should be, since he was a Quidditch player and all that jazz. They needed to be in shape, which was exactly why she would never try out for the team. Flying she loved, but running... No. Just no. With her two left feet, she would be on her face in the dirt in two point five seconds. She turned back to Xavier. "Friends? Sure. I'd like that. Plus, I think this one might be dead, so I'm out one friend as is." she replied, poking Tobi's cheek again. And just where was Bradley? She hadn't seen him since the Sorting Feast. What was happening to all of her friends? One had collapsed on a table, the other had vanished into thin air. If this wasn't Hogwarts, she would put the blame on some random magic...

▂▃▅▆█ Tobi mumbled and twitched as he felt his face poked by the guilty finger attached to his soon to be bitten friend. She then heard Anna start talking to someone other than him and turned his face around (still laying on the desk) to see some other Gryffindor smiling over at her. Dead was he? Oh he'd show her dead...but he had to wake up first. "Lionnneeellll, I'm awake bloody cat." the short boy murmured moments later still feeling someone poking his cheek. Sitting up Tobi wiped his eyes and looked from his female friend to the young man sitting next her and a slow smirk grew upon his face. "Wot's this then?! I fall into a lull of confidence and you go and bat ya pretty eyes at some other man! This is an outrage! A scandal of the worst kind! I say dear sir if'n I weren't a gent I'd demand fist o'cuffs right now!" He got so into his role of jealous boyfriend that he kept his stern and almost intimidating look for a full minute before breaking out in laughter. "I'm kiddin' I'm kiddin', I doubt Anna'd ever wanna date me. An' she ain't my exact flavor either if'n you catch my drift." just to give more emphasis, or maybe freak the kid out whichever came first really, Tobi gave a wink and a quick air kiss. █▆▅▃▂ Wearing

Luke looked around the class, trying to figure out where to sit as he entered. He shrugged and decided to take a seat next to Tobi since he didn't see Steffi anywhere. Cain looked like he was going to die in class, and the redhead empathized with his friend. Yeah, nothing like review to kill someone's spirit. He listened to the talk between students and nearly snickered when Tobi got defensive over a girl in his house. "Erm, you do realize she's her own girl, right mate? I bet she can tie her own shoes and everything too." His tone was teasing, of course, and he gave Tobi a grin to prove it.

A low whine brought Anna's attention back to her seemingly unconscious friend. Had Tobi just referred to her as his pet cat? The Gryffindor laughed. "Me-ow~" she chimed, poking him again for good measure. As he sat up and started his attack on Xavier, she felt the need to roll on the floor laughing at that moment. This was too bloody hilarious! "What can I say? You caught me, Tobi." she said, batting her "pretty eyes" at him, sticking out her lip in a staged pout. They could have pulled it off too, if Tobi hadn't lost his poker face and started laughing like a madman. She wouldn't lose her poker face though in this game, even if Tobi's attempts in flirting with poor Xavier was probably the funniest thing she had ever seen. "Aww, but Tobi..." she whined. "You know I love you." The girl pulled her friend to her in a tight hug that not even he could escape, and kissed his forehead. Forget writing! She could be an actress!... On second thought, better stick to writing. Anna realized that they must be making a scene, but she really didn't care anymore. Especially when Luke, the pranking king of Gryffindor house, came to sit with them. Poor Xavier. He must be dying of awkward-itis by now. "Thank you, Luke. I can in fact tie my own shoes. Thanks for pointing that out." Too much fun, too much fun. She could die of laughter right now if she gave into it. But the poker face held on, now with a newly installed grin upon the young girl's features.

Xavier caught a glimpse of Tobi, the Hufflepuff Beater who managed to talk to at the platform. When Annabeth finally replied, he nodded. " Yep. Really weird. Well at least it changes right now, " he answered, smiling brightly. He peeked at Tobi, who seemed, as he heard from Annabeth, kinda dead. When the girl turned back to him, he immediately sat up properly, looking at her like nothing happened. When she agreed to be friends with him, and that Tobi might be dead, he chuckled. He was having fun, indeed. Adding up when Tobi suddenly became a 'overprotective boyfriend' when he woke up. Lionel. That's what he heard the Hufflepuff murmur before he came back to the world. Here it comes, Tobi's 'protective boyfriend' act! At first he stared at him, blinking, confused about what the hell was happening. Loading : 100%. When the beater laughed, he couldn't help but laugh too. He was still laughing when...Luke came up. Oh, sh*t. As soon as he heard his voice, he became silent. He looked down his feet as he swallowed hard. When Annabeth was still laughing, Xavier let out some small, separate laughs. Mhm. I'm sorry Anna, but I'm leaving you...for Luke." he added the last part when his fellow ex-orphan joined them putting in his own laughs. "But Luuuuuke! She could tie my shoes too! Now who shall tie my poor trainers now! Maybe you'll do it? Oh won't you be my honorable Gryffindor?!" Tobi asked dramatically even dropping on bent knee. Dear lord how was class still going on?! Just then he noticed his other best friend Bradley finally make it to class and gave him a jaunty wave and a quirked brow when he sat so far away from them. █▆▅▃▂ Wearing
