"I'm sorry for screwing with you like that." Nicholas then apologized, pretty serious about it. He moved around so that her could wrap her arms around her once more and lay his hand on her shoulder. "I just want to snuggle, like I said before." He told her, closing his eyes as he relaxed and squeezed Ruri a bit here and there for fun.

"I guess I can permit some snuggling." Ruri said with a smile as she started to relax in his arms. "I think it's better than doing my hair for the umpteenth time anyway."

"Even though I always love doing you hair." Nicholas said back with a smile. "How long have you liked me Ruri?" Nicholas asked her, curious to know.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Um, I dunno...Eighth grade, freshman year maybe...?" Ruri said sheepishly. "Does it matter?"

"Well no it doesn't really... I just thought you might have thought I was gay with how I acted. I know others have." He told her, thinking about how much he was bullied in middle school for being who he was .

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Like I said, there is nothing wrong with getting in touch with your girly side. Every other guy out there is too scared of losing his man card for giving it a try, and actually having a better chance with women."

"I know I know. I've always been like this anyway and we've known each other since like the third grade." He said, squeezing her tighter. "You're so great though Ruri. I've been wanting to ask you out for so long, but was always so scared to."

"You dork. I don't mean to brag, but I'm the nicest girl you'll ever know. Even if for some freak reason I did turn you down, I'm not going to shun you for asking." Ruri said reaching up to prod him in the cheek a bit.

"Then I regret not asking you sooner! I've wanted to be with you for so long Ruri." He said, kissing her on the cheek.

"Careful; keep talking like that and you'll approach stalker or psychopath levels of affection." Ruri teased. "You know you should probably go to bed soon. If you don't get out of my room, my mom really will start to get suspicious." she pointed out.

"No she wouldn't. This is a sleepover! We'd stay up all night if we wanted to!" He teased back and gave her a peck on the cheek. "Can I stay I little longer, pretty please?" He asked, giving her his puppy dog eyes.

"Dammit, fine!" Ruri said squeezing her eyes shut. "Damn you and your puppy dog eyes!"

"Yay! Thank you Ruri!" Nicholas said, happy he won and gave her another kiss on the cheek. "Besides," He said, getting his milkshake, "I have finished my awesome shake yet!" He said and took a long sip from it before laying his head down on her stomach with a smile.

"Great, now any chance I can finish mine too?" Ruri asked, now pinned down by Nick in a way that in no way allowed her to have her own shake.

"Aw but I'm comfy now." Nicholas fake pouted, rolling his head around her stomach a little. "It's soft and comfy to just fall asleep on." He continued to tease, finally moving off to give her sides a poke.
