Ripley is a cosplay of the clone of Ellen Ripley from the Alien movies (for those that don't know and don't mind spoilers, between Alien 2 & Alien 3, Ellen Ripley was implanted with a queen alien, and she killed herself at the end of Alien 3 to prevent the Weyland-Yutani company from getting hold of it for their bio weapons division.
In Alien Resurrection, she was cloned from samples taken in Alien 3, and a new company removed the queen to allow it to grow and lay eggs. The Ellen clone (#8 ), was allowed to live and is mostly human but with some Alien features; she has acidic blood, hard metallic & sharp fingernails, and is quite predatory, fearless and blunt. She also seems to have an affinity with the Aliens, knowing when they are around, and sensing the Alien Queen's distress at one point..
Ripley Soquili is similar, she can come across as detached and predatory, but doesn't actually eat meat, though she will kill to survive if her life is threatened. Her hooves are a steely grey colour, and they are sharper than usual. She is almost fearless, though she has a great sense of her own mortality.
