"No, being stumped isn't something worth being angry at. Yes, of course, I will do whatever I can in my power to help you" Sato said earnestly. "Not much could get in the way besides fear and possession" he mumbles. Blushes a little, "Didn't know that..." lost in the moment before the blush fade some and he focuses once more of what he was supposed to be doing. "Okay, I will start now" he said then places his gently on top of one of Ritsuka's and guides it to the hole in question.

Marcel couldn't help but chuckle a little bit at Virgil's argument of his role in the horror movie they seemed to be making for themselves. He grinned a bit rolled his eyes a bit in amusement "Yeah sure, more like the wise old Hermit who tries to bone the hottest guy in the group" Marcel teased the older man a little bit due to their completely hypothetical movie scenario. The Hispanic couldn't help it, the other man was just so easy to tease, it was almost painful! Of course it wasn't like the other man didn't have any bite back, it certainly didn't take much to embarrass the Veteran after all. As they followed the stone trail Marcel was actually beginning to get more and more curious as to what exactly this trail led to. He wasn't exactly paying too much attention ahead of him as he was looking around the are beside them to make sure they didn't miss anything. However with Virgil's uttering the Hispanic would follow the others gaze as he saw exactly made his Lover stop in the first place "What the hell...?" Marcel was genuinely caught off guard by what he was looking at. The branches of the tree completely filled with dolls was a disturbing sight to behold and what's worse was when Marcel saw that there were bones littering around the base of the tree. He felt something drop in the pit of his stomach as he saw the small bones of children at the base of the dead tree. It was disturbing, like all life couldn't grow around the tree at all. Yet despite the obviously horrible scene before him the Hispanic began to walk forward to get a closer look and inspect the tree but just as he took a few steps in front of Virgil he felt his hand be grabbed by his Lover who held him from moving forward. Marcel would blink in surprise and looked back at Virgil but didn't say anything as he spoke. He knew Virgil usually indulged Marcel in his interests and hobbies but this clearly was something the other man didn't want to get mixed up in and while the Hispanic wanted to just investigate a little bit closer he wouldn't push it. He trusted Virgil's judgement. "It's hard to say, we'll have to get a better look at the house before making the call..." honestly Marcel couldn't tell if all three areas were connected but one thing Marcel did notice was how despite the sun shining right down on top of them the air was noticeably more chilly than just a couple seconds before. The Veteran would then slowly turn his back to the tree and would let Virgil begin to lead them away from that tree like the other clearly seemed to want to "I can't see why it wouldn't be, if those things weren't wards like I thought then..maybe the villagers tried fighting back by trapping whatever it was..." he spoke with a thoughtful look "Maybe they were done with child sacrifices and used dolls instead and when it came after them...they tried to trap it but...we saw how that worked out..." Marcel would then shrug his shoulders as the air was now back to a nice normal warm, it was amazing what a couple feet could do it seemed "I'm just tossing out ideas though...." honestly it was so hard to tell what any of this was, stone piles, a lost village, a doll tree with no life around it, if only they could peek into the past. But since that wasn't an option they could only take shots in the dark unless this house they were going to had some magical all encompassing answer for them. Of course the odds of that were nonexistent.

Even if he didn't have his phobia of dolls, he still wouldn't want to linger here. Whether it was tied to the huts or not, he knew there was something highly unnatural about the place they had stumbled across. As they walked back to the original trail, he kept glancing back over a shoulder to keep an eye on their backs just in case."Aye...this is just ********' creepy..." He muttered the thing he had been silently repeating to himself since spotting the tree. Inclining his head toward his companion, he listened to his thoughts on the whole matter. As much fun as this was, he had a feeling this was going to turn out frustrating for the both of them in the end. They were finding some interesting stuff though there was nothing to solidify their speculations."Yeah...but I gotta give 'em points for tryin' t'trick th'...whatever it was if they actually did that." Virgil paused and slightly turned to look one last time at the possible sacrifice area. It crossed his mind to go back to look at the bones to see if they had been chewed on, but there was no way that really going to happen. They more than likely did have marks on them. He couldn't be paid to get any closer now. "Guessin' is all we can do, babe." Virgil gave another happy grin. They might be coming across pieces of a dark past but he was still having fun. It would take a lot more than this to ruin his day. "Hell...for all we know...there could be answer t'all of this right underneath our feet. No tellin' how much of this stuff has gotten broken, buried and carried off over th' years. " Letting go of his hand, he lightly draped his arm over his shoulders. Now he could hear birds singing again, he was starting to feel more at ease. ”An’ were ya sayin’ ya’d be th’ hottest guy in th’ group? That’s pretty cocky, darlin’.” The snarky veteran could be with a crowd of male super models and he would still only have eyes for him. There was just something about the tight Spanish body that drew his eye and knowing what came with the package only sweetened the deal. "Hmm, ya know... I'm pretty sure they say bonin' wise ol' hermits is th' best charm against evil." Wise? More like lecherous old hermit. It was probably too late for him to redeem himself from earlier but he could still try. And if Marcel found it all entertaining then it was all he could ask for.

(All good dude, no need to feel rushed. Irl is way more important to deal with than gaia, especially bad Irl things. You're all good.)

Marcel nodded his head in complete agreement with Virgil as the other commented on how creepy it was "No kidding, it was like something out of one of my occult movies" of course Marcel really wanted to go and investigate the tree just a bit more but he knew that deep down he needed to quash that curiosity. The man had one demon attached to him already and had no desire to have another or anything close to a demon latching onto him once more. So the Hispanic simply ignored the curious side of himself despite what the horror enthusiast wanted to do. Marcel then let out a hum of acknowledgement "I guess one thing we humans have, we're resourceful and willing to fight against the odds...shame that sometimes grit and willpower aren't enough though" he commented a bit drearily himself. If his theory proved correct then Marcel would feel even worse for the people, they'd tried and failed to fight back. A shame that those strong enough to stand up for themselves be killed for it. The Hispanic then let out a sigh of annoyance and nodded his head once again "No s**t, I hate not having answers" what happened here was none of their business in anyway but now that they were investigating Marcel just wanted to know already, he was getting impatient. Of course the Veteran grinned a bit and looked down at the ground "True enough Novio, everything's so old I wouldn't be surprised" OK so he might have had a serious curiosity but there was no way in hell he was going to even try digging randomly to get an answer, even he wasn't that desperate. His mind was taken off when Virgil recalled his earlier comment and laughed a little bit before quirking an eyebrow "Oh yes Querido, my self confidence? You know it" he joked about his self deprecating ways. There was pretty much nothing about himself that Marcel wouldn't joke about, his issues, his mental health, his appearance, Marcel was good at making fun of it all! The Hispanic then quirked an eyebrow at Virgil once more before giving a sly grin and quickly moved in front of his Lover, pressing himself against the other man "Really now? I think I might have to take that into consideration. Might be some evil stuff around" he pressed himself just enough into the other man with a flirty smile on his face before chuckling a little bit in amusement. Marcel of course seemed to have no issue flirting with Virgil even when they were by all means surrounded by death, he supposed that with everything he's done in his life the former soldier has become rather desensitized to death.

A part of him could sympathize with the sentiment that grit and willpower didn't always win through but his inner misanthrope couldn't help but rear its ugly head from time to time. And he really had no right to be like that, having once been a human himself. While he hadn't truly forgotten his humble beginning, he didn't constantly think of it so whenever he was reminded it threw him off. Then again, he had lived far more years as Virgil the Werewolf than he had as Rafe the Human. Color him surprised, he would have never guessed Marcel would get this wrapped up in their little adventure. Here he had been worrying he wouldn't be able to keep him from slipping into the grips of boredom and yet there was a simple and easy way all around them this whole time. At least it seemed his lover was enjoying himself. With his attention still mostly focused on their surroundings, he hardly noticed him moving until in front of him until he was pressing against him. His jaw hardened a bit at the contact. While the shorter man was easy to fluster, it didn't take a whole lot to pique his interest. For a briefest of moments, he wished they were back at the tree just so he would have something to kill that small spark of interest stirring in him. But the flirtatious smile reaffirmed this was right where he needed to be. "Probably ah good idea, darlin'." After a couple of seconds of debate, he placed his hands on hips and pressed back into him. "Why take chances, eh? Jus' 'cause we can't see, evil is always lurkin' around." Tilting his head down, he gave a firm kiss to the side of his neck. His lips lingering against the spot until he remembered exactly who he was dealing with. Virgil released him with a chuckle and started walking ahead. When the strange pile with the tall stick protruding from it came into view a few short feet later, he stopped and turned to face Marcel. "Think we're back where we were..." He couldn't spot the second from there position though he wasn't too worried they had stepped off course. "Lead th' way, Capt'n." He winced somewhat as he said it as if his conscience had physically kicked him just then. Now that he knew of his rank he would have received if he hadn't been discharged, not wanting to bring up any nasty reminders or sound as if he was trying to make light of his past or anything. He hadn't even thought of the military rank when he used the odd pet name, only thinking to himself the Hispanic would make a good pirate captain.

Marcel's grin widened a bit at Virgil seemed to react rather nicely to his flirting and Marcel even let out a soft grunt as his Lover pressed against him and spoke "Yeah, could be hiding behind any tree" he spoke himself before letting out a strangled whimper when Virgil planted a firm kiss on the side of his neck, damn his biggest weakness! Just as Marcel felt his motor just starting Virgil would walk away from the Hispanic which caused the shorter man to let out a soft huff. Douche. He was the only one allowed to tease like that! Well nonetheless Marcel would follow Virgil before glancing at what was more than likely their earlier location. Marcel let out a hum of acknowledgement as he tried to think about where they were supposed to go at the moment but now his mind was on other less savory things at the moment. Dammit. Marcel would take a deep breath to try and compose himself although he did blink for a moment when called Captain. He stared for a moment before chuckling a little bit. He didn't particularly mind being reminded of the position that was almost his but he also didn't care for it too much either. But Marcel grinned a bit as he walked ahead of the other man a bit before pausing"That's Teniente to you, or Lieutenant if you will!" he would fold his arms behind his back and threw a grin at Virgil "¡Forma un soldado! Tenemos nuestra misión, ahora vamos a movernos!" he would bark out orders as if he was back in the Military and threw a smirk his way "¡También voy a realizar una búsqueda completa de cavidades más tarde! Espero que estés listo cachorro!" he spoke in an commanding tone as the smirk was easy but the look in Marcel's eyes promised absolutely awful things for the other man as they began to walk forward in the direction he was sure they came from. And true to form after a bit the sound of running water was heard and Marcel grinned a bit, pleased that he hadn't gotten them even more lost! With that Marcel would look over his Lover and smirked "¡Vamos cariño, sigamos adelante!" he called out to Virgil before scanning the stream before beginning to hop across a new set of rocks, these were much more slick and the last rock he was stepping on wasn't quite close enough for him to simply step onto the other side. So Marcel squatted as best he could balancing as he was and jumped onto the very edge of the stream before almost losing his balance and falling backwards into the water. Almost. Luckily he managed to catch himself in time before turning around and putting a hand out once more, just in case Virgil needed help if he wanted to try to jump the rocks as well.

Virgil chuckled softly when he was corrected. "I'll keep it in mind." His eyes widened when Marcel suddenly began to bark out commands he couldn't understand. Though he didn't really need to be able to understand Spanish, he knew an authoritative tone just as well as the next person. His brows furrowed together briefly as his expression became one that was slightly distressed as a completely new realization dawned on him with the rush of heat pooling in his lower body. He shifted uncomfortably, not knowing how he felt about being talked to in such a was turning him on. As far as he could remember, such treatment had never affected aside from feeling him with a mighty need to punch whoever was trying to order him around. Maybe it was only because it was Marcel speaking his native tongue or, perhaps, his brain's newest way of trying to cope with what had happened to him in the past year. Pretending to not notice the foreboding promise within the dark gaze, he followed him again. Virgil was a tad shocked when they reached the creek again, he'd had a feeling the Hispanic would have gotten them all sorts of turned around for sure. "Sir, yes, sir." Deciding to play along, Virgil drawled lazily as he watched him cross the rocks. "Careful." This time he wasn't reminding him out of concern, but rather teasing him for almost falling into the water. Chuckling to himself for the near mishap, he shook his head to the hand he held out for him. He wouldn't be needing it. He walked back a few feet before he took off at a sprint for the creek and jumped when he close enough, stumbling a bit on the landing. Pretending it hadn't happened, Virgil locked eyes with him and flexed a bit. The creek wasn't as wide as the one he'd jumped the other day in his wolf form wasn't but he still felt rather proud for not landing in the water. "Findin' this stuff is kinda creepy...don't think I would've brought ya 'ere if I'd found it before." Which was kind of disappointing if he was being honest. The older man prided himself on knowing his surroundings but it wasn't as if he only camped in this area every single time.

Marcel absolutely loved the reaction he'd gotten out of Virgil when he started speaking his native tongue and he hadn't even expected it. But seeing the look on his face with his eyes widening, the subtle look of confusion, but more importantly the other man's telltale shifting. He knew that Virgil liked it when he spoke Spanish but damn this was not what he thought would happen, Marcel just wanted to have a bit of fun was all. But if this was the reaction he got out of Virgil...well...the Hispanic just made sure to store this little nugget of information away for another time. Marcel then grinned when Virgil played along with his little game, it was quite amusing to say the least. When he crossed the Veteran would quirk an eyebrow before seeing him begin to back up. But it would become obvious quick when Virgil managed to jump the whole stream in one jump. Marcel could roll his eyes but grin just a bit nonetheless "Showoff" he muttered a bit with an amused look on his face. He would then listen to Virgil speak and nodded his head a bit but chuckled a little bit "You kidding me? This is awesome! You should know by now that that I'm all about this creepy s**t!" he exclaimed with a wide grin on his face he simply couldn't help it, he was a complete horror junkie and thrived off these kinds of things. True Marcel enjoyed poking fun of the "Ghost Hunting" TV shows but it was partially because they actually try interacting and even provoking spirits, Marcel just enjoys the atmosphere of creepy places. It puts a deep chill in his bones that no horror movie could ever hope to do. With that Marcel would turn on his heel and begin to retrace their steps back to the destroyed house "¡Vamos cariño! ¡Todavía tenemos un camino por recorrer!" he reverted back to his native tongue again with a cheeky grin before heading back to their original location earlier.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show."Only for ya." Virgil shot back with a teasing grin at being called a show-off. Sometimes it was impossible to resist the urge to show off what he was capable of when he didn't think it would freak Marcel out. Warmth blossomed in his chest as he listened to him talk about their little adventure. He knew he liked scary stuff but it had never crossed his mind that the Hispanic would enjoy exploring creepy places and the like. In his experience, those that liked horror only really liked it from the safety of their couch or a movie theatre. He should have never thought even for a second his boyfriend would be like someone who wouldn't want to go out and do things like this. "I've found ah couple on th' other side of th' park we can check out." A small yet genuine smile graced his lips. It seemed they would be coming to the park quite a lot in the future, which was something "But this place is huge so there's no tellin' what else we could find if we took th' time t'look." Considering what they had discovered so far, it made sense to him there could be a lot more out there. He chuckled when he lapsed back into Spanish, thankful it wasn't as commanding as it was before. Virgil wasn't quite ready to explore that newest discovery about himself so soon. He fell into step beside him. Now that he wasn't running in irrational fear or focused on finding their camp again, he could appreciate the scenery around them. Of course, it hardly looked any different than most of the other areas in the forest but it was still nice in his opinion. The brute didn't know why but there was always something peaceful and calming about a wooded wilderness. Even those abandoned places had a sort of tranquility to them although it was an eerie sort. "Maybe we should go t'New Orleans one day...There's plenty of creepy stuff there...not t'mention th' partyin'. We could get s**t faced then go on ah bunch of stupid ghost tours." He smirked at the idea, thinking the city did seem like it would be up Marcel's alley.

Marcel would grin in amusement at Virgil's commentary on his antics, trying to show off and impress him? Well it was obviously working. As the Hispanic went on he could tell that the other man was relieved when he began to go on about how he was enjoying himself. Honestly Marcel found being out and about a refreshing change to get his horror fix, there was something about actually being out there and experiencing creepy stuff that got his blood pumping. He knew that it could be considered a rather macabre hobby but Marcel was never a very well balanced individual. The younger man would then perk up when Virgil mentioned that there were more creepy places on the other side of the park they could explore another time he could only imagine the other places that were in this park. Of course he was also getting excited over the fact that people had died in this place but he couldn't help it, the man had a hobby. It was nice to actually walk down the path and simply have some peace and quiet instead of worrying about evil possessed tree's or tripping over the bones of dead people. Even when death permeated the forest it still seemed so serene and at peace, it was genuinely beautiful. Of course he would steal glances at Virgil and the surrounding woods seemed to only enhance how good the more rugged man looked. He just looked so in his element. Marcel then blinked a bit as a wide grin grew on his face as he nodded his head at the suggestion "I'd really like that Virgil. Alcohol, scary s**t, parties, and all that good s**t? ******** yeah, I'm game! One day, for sure!" now Marcel had his mind set, they would definitely go out to America so he could see New Orleans and experience the place for himself "And hell, I'll be able to have some genuine southern food..ehh....gumbo? And uh...grits..?" he wasn't too sure about southern cuisine in America but he knew from what a couple movies told him that those seemed like staples. They did seem to be retracing their steps well as they would soon pass the pond and begin heading into the woods back where they were earlier.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Just hearing how much Marcel seemed to look forward to their future plans of one day going to the city made him happy. Until meeting him, Virgil had never known there could peace and enjoyment by simply being near and talking to a loved one. Or that he could be content doing such a thing. But this was one of those times he didn't mind being proven wrong. Liked it, even. His nose wrinkled in disgust at the mention of grits. One thing he could never understand why people still enjoyed them so much. "Grits are gross but gumbo..." Of course, the thought of it would make the food junkie grin. It was one of his favorite things to make, especially since most restaurants never seemed to get it quite right. To Virgil, anyway. He preferred a lot of meat and spices in his without serving it over rice. "Gumbo is th' best an' probably th' one thing ya should always order when ya go aside from fried gator...We could always make our own though. Put whatever we want in it." He shrugged a bit at the offer. It was one of those foods that didn't have an exact recipe. Some people even liked to add in tomato and oysters which the brute thought should be illegal. Tomatoes and oysters were just nasty in any capacity. Virgil slowed down as he caught sight of the stone well peeking through the trees. Their discovery of that awful tree trumped this area, but he still wasn't looking all that forward to getting close to a place where he knew there was a doll. Possibly more than one, now that he thought about it. "This is about where it was...I think." For all he knew there could be another house or something with a different well. It was as the younger man had said earlier, the protected of the park meant no one could come in and bulldoze over something. At least not legally. Virgil changed course to head more toward the well, studying their surroundings as he walked. Since he had been more concerned with Marcel's well-being, he hadn't paid too much attention earlier. "Is there some movie where some creepy little girl crawls out of one of these things?" He'd question as he rested his hands on the edges of the rocks and peered over. It was too dark for him to really see anything though.

The Hispanic quirk an eyebrow when Virgil gave his opinion on grits and he shrugged his shoulders. He didn't even know what they looked like, let alone what they tasted like so the Veteran would just take his word for it. Of course Marcel would then grin a bit as Virgil began to go on about how good gumbo was and he found it rather amusing. It seemed like food to Virgil was what horror movies were to Marcel, both had a passion for both subjects, even if they were for different reasons. Of course Marcel's face would scrunch up a bit when he spoke about...fried gator!? "Gator..? You mean like..alligators?" the sheer thought of eating those monsters that lived in murky swamp water made the Hispanic's skin crawl "That sounds really nasty" of course Marcel never tried it before but the thought of eating something like that was not pleasant to him in the slightest, but once again if Virgil pushed him he might try a nibble. Even if he'd gag on the stuff. Once they began to arrive at their destination the Hispanic would stroll back over to the well and peered down it once again with Virgil and let out a chuckle "I'm surprised you even know about it! Yep. Mom thought her daughter was evil or something like that and threw her down a well to drown her" he pulled himself away from the black hole as it seemed rather creepy, he could only imagine how many dead animals there were down there since it was an open well "Little girl spent days floating down in the well trying to climb out, her fingernails came off from trying to climb. She ended up drowning though and came back as a vengeful spirit" Marcel ended up summarizing the plot since he personally wasn't a fan of the movie, if only because of the girls background and what happened to her.

He would then begin approaching the house and circled around it with a curious look, there didn't seem to be any claw marks on the outside like the village had. He passed by the window he peered in earlier and grinned a bit "Hey Querido, your little friend is still here...I could have sworn she was sitting up though...eh" he shrugged his shoulders as he stared at the doll that was laying down in front of the dresser, her head turned perfectly at the window from where she laid. Marcel would then begin to go around the back of the house to see if there was another way in or at least another chance to peer in. As he circled around he looked in and blinked a bit as his grin widened, it seemed like the kitchen had a stone floor unlike the rest of the house and the window was busted in fortunately "Hey Virgil! I found a way in!" he announced before putting one leg over the window sill and hopped in as he made sure to avoid stepping on any debris that was on the ground. Nothing much to to speak of to say the least but as he approached the doorway he blinked a little bit at the sight of collapsed stairs before getting a better look, it looked like there was a trapdoor that was under the steps. But it was covered by the collapsed staircase "It has a basement..." he turned his head with a small grin forming on his face, Virgil should know what Marcel wanted to do.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Virgil laughed when it became apparent of what he thought about eating alligator and nodded his head. It wasn't great, honestly, and in no way tasted like chicken as everyone swore it did. Marcel wouldn't have to worry about being forced to try it, it was only one of those foods the big guy would only eat again if he had no other choice to keep from starving to death. "I've seen bits an' pieces of stuff while stayin' in motels." With his sensitive hearing, it was disturbingly easy for him to hear everything around him through the thin walls so he often turned on the television to drown out the sounds. It was really the only way he did somewhat keep up with the film industry. The part with the little girl crawling out of the well must have left an impression on him if he could still remember it. He promptly took a step back away from the well as his companion explained the general plot of the movie. He had thought about using his phone's flashlight to get a better look down it but the idea didn't seem so great now. The last thing he wanted to see amongst the likely animal remains were that of a person, much less a child. Death or signs of it didn't bother him, but he had seen enough bones of children for one day. He didn't have to particularly care for children to feel it was still a sad and senseless loss of life. Virgil started to explore the parameter around the house to look for any signs of bodies like they had at the villager though his investigation was cut short. He froze in place upon hearing the thing about his 'little friend', getting mostly hung up on the last bit. "What." He didn't sound happy at all. Though he was able to cling to rational thought than let fear take over. There was probably a number of small critters using the place as a nesting ground so one of them had probably knocked it over while they were gone. Was he going to go look for himself? Hell no! He would take the Spanish man's word for it!

"'Course ya did..." He muttered to himself when he called out he had found another way in, something he had kind of been hoping wouldn't happen. But today wasn't his lucky day. Following the direction his voice had come from, he came to stand outside of the broken window. All it took was one look to know what he wanted. Or at least have a very good guess at what it could be. A heavy sigh left him. Logically, he knew he should grab Marcel by the scruff of his neck and haul his a** out of there, but logic rarely stood a chance against love. Carefully, he climbed through the window and went to stand beside him to get a better look at the supposed entrance to the basement. "It could jus' be ah crawl space..." He glanced to him. "But ya won't be satisfied 'til we see, huh?" It was a rhetorical question. After another brief moment of pondering, he turned to go back outside. "Let me go outside an' look around before ya start t'do anythin', okay?" Without waiting for a replay, he climbed out to go look again. This time, Virgil made sure to pay extra attention to the exterior of the house as he began to walk around it. Earlier, he hadn't given the thick vine with its large leaves growing along the walls any mind and didn't particularly didn't this time until he spotted something out of place barely peeking through the underground. Approaching it, he pulled away at some of the foliage until he partially under covered what he thought he saw, a pair of doors partially built into the ground near the bottom of the house. "Think I found another way in!" He called out loud enough to hopefully be heard while he busied himself with clearing away more of the growth. His hands and forearms were scratched up from the thorns on the vine by the time he was finished, but he didn't care. Grabbing one of the door handles, he pulled although it didn't open. No doubt locked from the inside but it wasn't as if he was going to let that stop him! Growling, he grabbed onto the handle of the other one and pulled on both at the same time as hard he could. They finally came open with a loud splintering sound, the werewolf stumbling back as they did.

Marcel's grin would only widen when Virgil spotted what he was looking at and nodded his head at the others question "Mmmhmm!" it seemed that the older man wasn't too pleased with his desire to pry into this dilapidated hose. However he seemed willing to indulge him nonetheless which caused Marcel to wave his hand dismissively "Yeah, yeah. I won't get myself stuck unlike you!" he responded with a sarcastic tone that was hiding his amusement, still remembering the pathetic look on the Wolf's face when he arrived. Marcel would only wander around the small kitchen area as he didn't trust the wooden floors of the other rooms to support his weight. Just from their appearance alone and the fact that he could see green on them wasl all he needed to know that it would be a bad idea to go any further into the house. He did note however that from what he could see around the parts that caved in, that this was wasn't destroyed or broken into in any fashion. There were no claw marks on the inside and any destruction seemed to come from time and disrepair more than any actual outside force form what he could tell. It was like night and day between this house and the village they found, it almost seemed like the residents just up and left considering how bare the place seemed. The doll and other things just seemed to have been forgotten remnants of the previous owners.

Marcel would then hear Virgil call out to him that there was another way into the building which caused the Hispanic to grin before hopping out the window. As he made his way around to where he heard Virgil's voice he would hear wood snapping just in time to see Virgil force the basement doors open and Marcel walked over to the older man and placed a kiss on his cheek with a smirk "My big, strong man" he laughed a little bit before peering into the blackness that was the basement. Marcel would pull out his phone and fiddled around for a moment, he had seen it somewhere...he thought it'd be useless but now he was glad that it was already on his phone. Of course it took a couple seconds before finally he found the flashlight app on his phone and a white light filled the darkness, revealing a dirt floor underneath "I may be curious but let's make it quick, there's no telling when the floor might collapse on our heads!" he spoke to the other man with a nod of the head before he descended the stone steps into the blackness that was this old basement. The first thing he noticed was how cool it was which was a bit unsurprising considering it was a basement but still. As he looked around Marcel took note of the different bones and skulls that decorated the basement walls, none human luckily. It seemed that whoever lived here was a hunter as bear skulls, deer, bucks, wolves, and so many others decorated the basement. This was a stark contrast to the upstairs areas that were bare and gave the impression that the people left the house "This is pretty cool...."
