Henrietta took her bag and got changed into jeans and a t-shirt. Unlike the one Emi gave her, this one was blank, one solid color, pink. Once out of the bathroom, hair dried and brushed, Henrietta made her way to her cot, bag slung over her shoulder.
Thanks to Shery, she didn't have to worry about taking her Pokemon to the center. They simply needed rest to regain the energy they'd lost and then she'd be fine.
Her plan, of course, was to slip out while Emi was in the shower and before the others came back to try and take them to breakfast. Henrietta wasn't one for social gatherings and she'd rather avoid the girl she'd accidentally ended up kissing.

The gym was giving a report on the terrorist attack that had almost occurred the other day. Chili telling them all about the terrifying Absol. That left Cress to take challenges while Cilan took orders. He said, as Robert entered, "welcome! What Pokemon will you be using today?"

Luka was up early and now came the moment that he had been waiting for and dreading. He was stood in the hallway with his mother sobbing her farewells, his father trying to remain stoic and calm beside Zelda and his little brother looking up at him with big puppy dog eyes. "I'll see you all later, ok?"
And that was that. They'd all wished him a good journey and they couldn't wait to see him again, although, if he was quick, they'd see him again later that day or tomorrow. He just didn't know and he'd have to see how things went.
He walked out of the door and set off on his journey. First stop: Striaton Gym.

Robert gave a light bow of his head to Cilan. He wanted to start things with the Pokemon who he needed to work more with. He already worked a great deal with Freya and Garnet. While Garnet would be a good one to work with, Robert wanted to work on his newer Pokemon, Beatrix "I will be using Beatrix, my Gardevoir. She is the newest of my Pokemon and needs the most experience with me as her trainer." Robert replied to Cilan. He then took out his Gardevoir's Pokeball and released her. She seemed to be in very good condition, despite all that happened at the Dreamyard.
"Are you ready for this Beatrix? If not, I'll let you sit this one out." Robert asked the Gardevoir. Beatrix looked to him and gave him a nod. "Well then, please, lead the way." Robert spoke to Cilan with a calm and polite tone of voice.

Cress lead Robert to the arena and the two would stand at opposite sides. Cress, courtesy of the machine, would obtain the Pokemon to use as the environment shifted. To what? A forest. Trees rose from the ground, obscuring the view of the trainers from each other.
Cress, meanwhile, announced through the PA system so Robert could hear clearly, "standard rules, no items, one Pokemon. If you faint, give up or leave the arena" which consisted of a dome of glass that was extraordinarily difficult to break, "you lose the match."
Simipour released in accordance with Robert's rank and the Gardevoir's statistics Cress announced, "begin, the challenger gets the first move."

After Henrietta had finished her shower, Eunmi took over the bathroom. It didn't take long to do so, but the steam left the mirror too foggy to see through, so Eunmi sat on the closed toilet in a towel sifting through her bag for an outfit for the day.
She held up a white t-shirt. It was loose-fitting and had a black star in the center. Quickly comparing it against a cardigan vest, she decided it was doable for the day. Shorts... shorts, where were her shorts?
Sometime later, Eunmi stood in front of the mirror, wearing the tee and cardigan over a black pair of shorts. Her arm was adorned with bracelets to match her shirt and hair - which she was currently tying up into a pony-tail.
"It's missing something," she murmured. She glanced to her bag and saw a pink and white baseball cap her mom had given her. It was 'all the rage' for Pokemon Trainers. Eunmi rolled her eyes, clipping the loop of the hat to her belt in case it was ungodly sunny out today.
((Yes, Eunmi is dressed, for the most part, like White.))
"Hey, Henrietta-" Eunmi poked her head out of the bathroom to the vacant room. Well, minus Salieri, who was still snoozing.
"God damn it," Eunmi said, stuffing the rest of her things into her bag and quickly heading to the door. She paused and stared at the sleeping battle girl.
"I owe you half the bill.
-- Eunmi Sung"
With the letter placed in somewhere the battle girl couldn't miss it, she ran out the door.

Battle Theme: Protecting My Devotion
Robert looked over the terrain. Plenty of places to use as shelter against ranged attacks, at least against ranged attacks that weren't targeting the minds of others. On the downside, it would limit Robert's ability to see in areas. Since Robert was given the first move, he decided to start out with a defensive tactic.
"Beatrix, hone mind and body. Calm Mind!" Robert called out. The Gardevoir gave a nod and focused her mind, allowing chi energy to flow through her body, unlocking her offensive and defensive potential. She kept her eyes and senses on the field, ready for what was to come.

Wayne was up early. He probably should've been more tired after yesterday, but the drive to improve had him just outside the Dreamyard yet again. First he had to get his gym badge; maybe then Hitmonlee would start obeying him. But before First came training.
"Okay, now - Synthesis!" Wayne shouted and Petilil drew on the diminished sunlight. The technique wasn't as effective as it was yesterday, but the trainer knew they'd have to practice in all conditions to properly master the move. She sucked in energy from the sun and used it to reenergise her bulby body.
"Alright, awesome," Wayne grinned as he checked his pokédex. He knelt down, "Now there are a couple of moves I want you to learn before we hit this gym. The first one is Sunny Day."
"Tilil?" the pokémon blinked in wonderment.
"Yeah! It releases a ball of light into the air and lets you pretend there's a real strong sun up there," the trainer grinned, "We're gonna need it if we wanna keep fighting like we did yesterday." And Petilil nodded.
"The second one is gonna be the match-ender," Wayne continued, "Cause we don't wanna get stuck in a battle like we did against Henrietta."
Petilil gave one firm nod.
"So the plan is to learn... get ready for it..." Wayne threw his arms up and yelled, "Solar Beam!"
Petilil watched as her trainer's momentum made him fall flat on his back; she winced when he struck the ground. Wayne swept his legs around and sat up cross-legged again.
"If we had some Technical Machines you'd be able to learn those moves dead easy, but since we're too poor for that you're gonna have to learn 'em the ol' fashioned way." Wayne pushed off a hand and onto his feet, "Okay! Now you know how it feels to have energy rushing through your body with Synthesis, right?"
Nod nod.
"Well try to get that power surging without using Synthesis - use your own energy."
Blink blink?
"Y'know, like, summon it or something, I dunno." The trainer rubbed the back of his head with a frown, "And then like, release the energy into the air in the shape of a ball."
Squint.
"Oh c'mon, you know what I mean."

Henrietta regretted the t-shirt the moment she walked outside. Yesteday she'd been hot, underground, near people, battling, moving, in caves, constantly. She'd barely known what cold was. This morning, close to 6 A.M.? The sun was rising in the distance but the clouds that hung overhead threatened rain and it was cold.
Dark was the morning, like the opening to some emo poem of lameness, and Henrietta set off to train. The Dream Yard was out of the question, and she was hesitant to go back to the cave where she'd caught Frate, as she'd recalled getting his a** kicked by some giant rocky thing.
So, Henrietta set out toward Route 3. Not to the cave, not to route 2 which was unbearably easy, or the dream yard. It was time to get down to business.
Except that Henrietta was like a Redgrave when it came to directions, except she didn't need a map to get lost, they were ******** all impossible. So, she ended up at the dream yard's crater. She noted Wayne there and, not wanting to pester him but not wanting to run off as that would be rude, she released Melty.
The purple flame was back and he had his energy back. She smiled as she knelt down to him, "are you ready to train?"

Tired from the previous days adventure, the black haired girl exited her room. Dressed in a large t-shirt that fell down her thighs and shorts underneath which barely poked out, Leonarda, glad to be free of her ginger wigged and armor clad disguise, exited her hotel room.

A basic strategy, one Cress shared. "Just use work up until he attacks us," Cress said. It was an easy way to max out statistics if they were gonna duke it out. It would mean that one well placed hit would end the battle instantly, that is, assuming the duo both maxed themselves out before jumping into combat.

Eunmi, running in the halls like you never should, accidentally found herself crashing into a girl in the hallway. Somehow, she ended up grounded, landing on her butt.
"...ow..." Eunmi said, wincing. "S-sorry-"
Eunmi's eyes widened as she looked up at the girl she'd crashed into.
