Akila nodded a little sheepishly, before letting the healer put the paste on her neck. She took the jar carefully, but almost dropped it, seeing Markus' wing. The scene from the Inn room flashed before her eyes and she had to shake it away, calming herself, and hoping that she hadn't been too obvious about that. She knawed at her lip unhappily, looking over the damage.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is....

Markus reached out to Akila, stroking her hair softly. "I'm fine, I told you. Relax." He told her quietly. He bit his lip but gave no other sign of pain as the healer worked on his wing, flexing it and examining the cut. "Healing nicely, but you still aren't allowed to fly or do anything serious with this wing. I want the bone to knit nicely. Otherwise you'll never fly again." He told the boy seriously as he bandaged the wing again. "Alright. Off you two go." Markus smiled and thanked the healer as he left, though his voice sounded a little more strained than normal.

Akila nodded to the healer and took Markus' hand, giving it a light squeeze. She didn't like him hurting. She sped up her walk a little.

Markus returned the squeeze lightly. "Don't worry so much." He murmured with a smile. "I'm fine." He matched his pace to Akila's, leading the wavy back into his room. He flopped on the bed, belly first. "Do you want to just stay in my room or would you rather your own room?" He asked, looking up to Akila.

Akila tapped her chin in thought before stealing his pillow and cuddling into it, next to him, careful of his wing. She'd stay with Markus if she could. She felt safe with him.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is....

Markus chuckled, the answer obvious. "I will have to invest in more pillows it seems, with you stealing mine." He said playfully, wrapping his arms around Akila and holding her close. He spread his good wing, covering them in a feathery darkness.

Akila nodded. Yup! She officially claimed his pillow. She turned in against him and smiled innocently, draping one arm under his wing and around his waist, and her other rested against his chest lightly. She doubted she'd feel his safe anywhere else at any given time.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is....

Markus chuckled quietly. He kissed Akila lightly, then told her, "Sleep. You're safe now. Nothing will ever hurt you again, I promise." He held her against him securely, not letting her go.

Akila smiled into the kiss and nuzzled against him quietly, eyelids drooping. Sleep could be good. She hadn't slept in the closet at all....now she could catch up....and surrounded by the intoxicating scent of her almost mate, too. Her tail laid off the edge of the bed as her breathing deepened and her eyes shut completely.

Markus smiled, watching her drop off. He pet her for awhile, content to watch her sleep. He soon joined her though. He was still healing and was sleeping a lot lately.

By the time morning came around, Clorogne's strength had returned and as he woke, he pulled his fiance closer to him.

Akila was tucked securely against Markus with her ears up and alert. Her hair messed around her face and her tail was wrapped around his leg again. She was so warm and comfortable.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is....

Aleera blinked sleepily as she was suddenly forcibly shifted. She gave Clorogne a small smile. "Good morning." She yawned and stretched, then cuddled up to him.

Markus woke slowly in the darkness provided by his wing. He ran a hand down Akila's side gently, reassuring himself that she was there and safe. Content that she was, he began scratching her ears idly.

Akila purred almost seductively in her sleep, toes curling up as she pressed closer to her heat source. Her ears flickered at the nice feeling.

He yawned, "Morning." He grinned and kissed her neck, shifting them both onto their sides.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is....

Markus smiled softly, watching her curl up close to him. He didn't mind in the slightest. He kissed her forehead lightly, still scratching her ears gently.

Aleera rolled with the shift compliantly, stretching out lazily, her nightgown clinging to her. "You seem to be in a good mood. Feeling better?" She asked with a smile.

Akila shifted, drowsily opening her eyes. She smiled him still tired and closed her eyes again, her Purring constantly. What a nice way to wake up. She arched her back lightly and ran her fingertips up his back.

Clorigne just nodded, "Yup, and might I tell you how beautiful you look this morning?"
