Leonarda hit the ground after Eunmi crashed into her. On her back, she'd stare at the ceiling for half a second before sitting up. When she met the girl's eyes she said, without any real surprise in her voice, "...you"

Robert looked over to his Gardevoir. "Sense out your opponent's mind, then unleash Psychic upon it." Robert spoke to his Gardevoir. Beatrix gave a nod and began searching for the Simipour's mental waves. Once she got hold of the water ape's mind, she would attempt to focus a great deal of psychic energy into the ape in a harmful manner. Robert had to balance his defensive strategy with an offensive strategy. Simply bulking up for a single blow wasn't going to work, not against Team Plasma. They wouldn't give him that luxury. He had to battle as if he were fighting that man and his Meinshao.

"You!" Eunmi spat, staggering up to her feet.

"Y-you're..." Eunmi looked flabbergasted. "...Seohyun! From Monochrome Mercy!"

The teenager looked simple ecstatic - she had to try very hard not to hug her music idol.

"C-can I get your autograph?"

She was completely unfazed by the fact that the woman appeared to recognize her too.

The blast of psyschic energy had to manifest somewhere and it didn't go unnoticed.

"Up," Cress spoke calmly and Simipour was over the psychic energy as it slammed into the earth, the ground exploding skyward as he came down.

"He's going to need to be more creative then that," Cress said as he crossed his arms. Still, it was good to see trainers giving it their best.

"Another work up, let's see if he comes out this time," Cress said and Simipour complied, loosening himself up further as he moved around in stereotypical monkey fashion, getting stronger as he did.

Leonarda stared at Eunmi a moment. For amoment she thought she was caught and she regretted letting her Pokemon out to chill. He was in her room still, so he'd be no use to her. She blinked, the closest you'd get to an emotional response from her that wasn't bland, boring. Unless, of course, she was on stage.

"Alright," she said as she stood up and grabbed a pen from the pocket of her shorts. "Do you have any paper? Or did you want me to sign your shirt, or..?"

Robert saw the Simipour launch itself upwards to avoid the Psychic attack. Good, something that he and Beatrix could see. "Now that he's aerial and in sight, use Magical Leaf!" Robert called out. Beatrix began pulling leaves from the trees around her and homed them in at the Simipour with speed and power. He was going to have to close the distance soon before the ape became too great a threat.

Wayne's gaze followed the helicopter as it flew past. The World Government insignia adorned its black side with white. It was heading for the Dreamyard. Looks like Wayne's Aunt kept her word and was sending an investigation team. A quiet smile on his face, the trainer turned back to his pokémon.

"That's... not really a ball," Wayne commented. Petilil had managed to focus her energy and generate a mass of light. Unfortunately she couldn't maintain a proper shape to it, nor would the intensity stabilise. It kept crossing between dim and dull to unbearably intense.

Wayne shielded his eyes until the ball of light burned itself out and vanished. Petilil whimpered sadly as she stared at the ground. She was trying her best. But it looked like her best just wasn't good enough.

"It's okay," Wayne said, finding a rock to sit on while his pokémon trained, "Just keep trying. Dad says a lot of this stuff is just down to getting the feel for it. Apparently most pokémon moves come from the power of your Aura," he placed a hand on his chest, "That's the power inside you. Once you're used to controlling it a bit better, you'll get Sunny Day down."

Petilil looked at Wayne and nodded slowly. She didn't really understand what he meant by Aura. But basically she just had to keep trying. And so she did. Taking it slow, she'd concentrate and feel for the energy inside. It was like a swirling warmth at her core, the way she imagined it it was a cloud of white swimming around a tiny blue sun in a sky of black. Petilil syphoned some of the white cloud and let the rest settle, opening her eyes to find a ball of light had manifested in front of her.

If plants could sweat, she would be doing right now. She knew that depending on how hard she concentrated, it would effect the ball. If she tried too hard to make it rounded and bright, it'd squash inward and get too bright. If she was too soft then the ball would flounder and go out of shape, getting dimmer. It was striking a careful balance. Making that balance feel natural. And eventually not even thinking about it at all.

"So Petilil," Wayne said, "How about we get some breakfast after this?"

Petilil didn't look, still keeping her eyes on the ball. But breakfast sounded so yummy.

"And man, I need to get a wash or something. Dad said I should get a water pokémon to just blast me, but I told him I didn't want one... then again, maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea."

Another pokémon in the team? Petilil's face went a darker shade of green - a bulb pokémon blush - she didn't know if she liked the sound of that. It'd be like an intruder coming in. And, what if they were nasty, maybe she'd get picked on like Solosis picked on her. Only it'd be two pokémon doing that and Hitmonlee wouldn't care, he only cares about looking tough and things. No! Another pokémon would be bad, it'd be-

[I don't want one, I don't want a water type!] Petilil squealed, her eyes scrunched up. She shivered when she felt Wayne's hand on top of her head, patting her leaves. The grass pokémon looked up at her trainer, saw him grinning. Then she realised.

[The bal-] BOOM

This time dust kicked up as the ball of light exploded. Wayne fell back and Petilil had blank shock across her face. Right until she'd thought about it, she'd managed to get Sunny Day stable. She felt tears welling, but then Wayne sat back up.

"Sweet, that was so close," he said happily. "Unfortunately, I'm blind, so yeah. I'm just gonna-" he got to his feet wobbly, "Try and find the roc-" Trip, "Ahh, there it is."

"Shirt? Damn it, Henrietta!"

Eunmi shuffled through her bag, eventually retrieving a slightly crumpled bit of paper. She decided that would be lame, and remembered her hat.

"Maybe you could sign this?" she asked, holding the hat upside down to show the interior brim.

The leafs came and Simipour considered them with a bored expression.

"Don't let him think cheap tricks work," Cress said. It was a newbie error, after all, that autoaim meant autohit. He smirked.

The beam of ice destroyed the leaves just as they homed in, coming together to prepare. the blast of ice would then slam into a tree, freezing it over instantly, into a giant pillar of ice, the excess energy, through skilled control by Simipour, shot upward, creating a giant pillar of ice that went to the ceiling.

One hand had fired the Ice Beam, the other was on the ground. He knew Beatrix's location. From underneath her came the vines of Grass Knot, aiming to catch her and slam her into the ground by the power of her own weight.

"This is too basic," Henrietta complained to herself now that she didn't have anyone but Wayne around to hear, and he seemed preoccupied. That is to say, Henrietta didn't need to be as reserved. She sat watching Melty as he worked on the flame power. Increasing heat and duration of the single flame.

Then again, all working out was just doing the same things over and over and over, hundreds of times a day, thousands of times a week, etc. Henrietta sighed. "Let's try some ghost training," she said, though she had no idea where to begin.

Then the explosion came and Henrietta was on her feet, turned toward Wayne. "Wayne!" she said but she was likely drowned out by the stream of curses that came from Melty. Henrietta raced over as Wayne got to his feet and tripped. Into her.

Sending them both to the ground, Henrietta screaming.

"Hm," Leonarda said as she took the hat. "Alright," she said and she signed the hat where it could be seen. First in Hangul lettering and then, she looked at Eunmi and considered for a moment that the girl's friends, whomever she showed it off to, might not get it, she signed in English as well.

"Here you go," she said as she offered the hat back to the girl.

"Wait, this isn't a rock," Wayne said, squeezing something soft. "Definitely not a rock." It felt good, enjoyable. What was this awesome thing? Then he heard the screaming. "Huh. Hen-Henrietta?"

Petilil's face went deep green.

Robert saw the ice beam pillar. Now he knew their location for certain. "Teleport over there and once you get there, use Psychic at close range!" Robert called out. Just as the grassy vines were wrapping themselves around Beatrix's foot, her body vanished, only to then reappear at the base of where the ice pillar was. Once there, she'd attack Simipour with Psychic again, this time as a close range burst blast, aiming to send the ape flying.

"Ohh," Eunmi smiled, noting the hangul. "Komapsumnida!"

She grinned, but then looked embarassed. She wasn't really used to speaking formally to anyone.

"I mean, thanks," she said sheepishly.

What should she do? Henrietta's face was bright red. It was the second time that day that someone had, accidentally, done something to her. This was a step above kissing though. Henrietta screamed again as she felt the hand grope, squeezing her breast.

At this point, you'd probably want to smack someone, Eunmi's words rang in her mind and, following that advice, Henrietta brought a hand around to smack Wayne in the side of the face.

"Surf," Cress said calmly and Simipour's mouth opened as the explosion of water came from it. No, explosion was saying it mildly, the blast of water had such force, power and mass that it seemed impossible to be generated by Simipour. The Surf attack was such in mass and power that Beatrix would exhaust herself trying to get her psychic attack through it to hit Simipour(meaning she wouldn't be able to dodge Simipour's surf), much less trying to stop the attack with her psychic. The bottom line was, she'd have to abandon her attack and dodge, or take the devastating blow of the +2 Simipour's Surf.

***

"Komapsumnida," repeated Leonarda with a nod of her head. She looked around the empty hallway. Just the other day she'd almost gotten her a** kicked by this girl, now he was giving her an autograph. Chuck was also going to be out of his costume today but Bill? Bill was naturally a ginger, so it would be bad if Eunmi had seem him the other day and recognized him.

So, deciding they should get out of the hotel and fast, Leonard said, "I'm hungry, you want to grab something?"

Beatrix was no fool. Even without Robert's guidance, she knew she wouldn't be able to avoid the attack if she went head to head with her Psychic. Instead, she glided herself over to the forest to let the trees act as a shield. Once the attack was over, she would come at the Simipour and use Hypnosis to try and put the ape into a slumber, assaulting it with a wide hypnotic wave.

The slap made contact but didn't do much. Either through Henrietta's lack of strength or lack of willing, her slap did little more than nudge Wayne's face to the side slightly. All with a soft ptat.

His eyes, blinded by the explosion of light, were slowly starting to see again. Fuzzy images, blackened blobs distorting masses of swirling colour. He could make out Henrietta's features and the redness of her face.

As if the slap hadn't been enough, Wayne then realised what he'd done and leapt back, landing on his feet and staggering backwards.

"Whoa, whoa, man I am so sorry," he said, holding up his hands. He glanced at the offending one, just making it out fuzzily, and wiped it on his pants leg. "Just so you know: I would never, ever, consider doing that to someone like you. Not in a million years. So sorry."

"Bring it down," Cress said and Simipour dashed forward. Teleport abuse? Well, all that did was make it easier for the opponent to dodge. However, teleport was just a set back. In other words, Beatrix would only be able to needlessly extend the match by using it.

That said, Simipour's hand slammed into the frozen tree as he reached it, dodging the hypnosis waves with ease. The fist, karate chopping the tree, would cause it to break and begin to fall. At the top where the ice pillar met the ceiling(as he was chopping the frozen tree), it would crack and break without losing momentum or time, coming down at a calculated angle to try and smash into Gardevoir and drag her into the earth below.

***

Henrietta sat up when Wayne leapt back. She looked up at him as if she were about to cry. Right, insult to injury.

Never ever the words rang in her head and she quickly shook her head to get rid of them. That was enough sexual tension for one day, she decided.

Though the decision didn't stop her face from being red still, didn't stop her from feeling. Damn humany feely parts.

"W-wayne," she said, deciding to change the subject. She pointed at Melty and said, "w-would y-you l-like t-to t-train w-with m-me?"
