Though I do not agree with all of Objectivism's tenants, the spirit and idea that there is a singular true perception of the world is one I can get behind (Though it mostly involves less of a philosophical bent and more background in the scientific and medical fields.) Also, reality is the first, last, and best source for fiction ideas. Imagination needs something solid to feed on, or else it can end up eating itself.
