"Why would I do that when my friends need me doing my job for all of our sake." She said, looking at him, then at her soldiers. "Now, if the king orders it, that's a different story, but that's because I know he has a plan and I trust him as my boss. You should have a little more faith in my Eviz." She told him.

Eviz smiled and nodded "of course. I know we'll find a way, we always do " he said. The ship arrived in the town, it was in perfect condition, as if it ad never been in the battle in the first place "your ship, sir" Eviz said.

"Indeed." She replied. "Matthew, send word to John that I'm heading on board and he needs to regroup the troops so we can leave as soon as he's finished. I need to send word to his Majesty as soon as possible."
"Yes sir!" The soldier replied with a salute.
"Thank you." She replied then turned towards the rest. "Doctors, engineers, get back to the ship. Soldiers, report back to John. Good job, all of you!" She smiled.
"Sir, yes sir!" They replied with salutes.
"Dismissed." She replied before turning and heading towards the ship, expecting Eviz to follow behind.

Eviz handed the gun to a nearby soldier before walking onto the ship. He saw Hector ahead of him, the group of en entering the ship blocked him from getting any closer, but it was fine, besides, he needed to head to his post and begin working. He walked off to the medical bay.

Pain. Searing pain seemed to rip through Farah’s chest as she stood, gormless and lost at the gangplank of her ship. Flames licked at the lacquered wood, turning its mahogany died surface black.
The sails billowed, casting hot ash into the air in glittering red showers. The screams of pain had long stopped as her crew was devoured by the flames, rushes of heat casting thick billows of smoke into the air like a giant funeral pyre.
The pirates had attacked the docks first and what started out as small blazes culminated into an inferno of burning wood. Barir had fled with the first sounds of the attack and now stood a little way off his ears flat and head bowed as he watched his masters silhouette.
Farah was unmoving, her eyes cold as she continued to watch the flames as Hectors men scattered through the town at his orders.

The flames on Farah's ship were put out by Hector's soldiers, however as they began emptying out the ship's inhabitants, most were dead due to burns or inhaling too much smoke. The few that lived were on the brink. Even then, the soldiers tried to do what they could for the few still living.

She turned from the mess of bodies that were dragged off the ship the few that were still breathing had little chance of survival. Farah placed her hands on Barir’s back and hoisted herself up, her fingers running through his mane in the same mechanical movement as she locked her eyes on the Lord Hector, stood not too far off from her now.
The remaining pirates had been dragged off by the towns people and as was custom in most lands only those who called Luin their home were able to sit in and cast vote on their punishment. The black horse snorted and shook his head as if trying to console his master.
“Why si it I feel like I should have pushed you over the deck when we were still traveling and yet…if I had done so I wager the damage would probably have been worse. Does bad luck always follow you so doggedly, Lord of Ander?”

"I wouldn't call it bad luck. Death and conflict seem to have fallen in love with me, and they follow me wherever I go. Or perhaps it is lady life herself guiding me towards such things to help stop the damage those two cause." She replied. "And knowing the taste of bitter irony, the day that peace finally comes to this world will probably be the day death comes to collect my head."

Farah laughed, her hair being cast forward by the vicious motion and shielding her face “I thought death favoured no man and even if you died knowing your country was safe, war had been stopped. People were fed, no one died the rest of the world would go on. Peace is fickle and life is a hard mistress to us all though she seems to either dislikes you greatly or enjoys your company”
With a gentile tug at one of Barir’s locks Farah reined the horse around to face Hector fully, offering her free hand to him “you still look like death came to claim you early, I can drop you near to your ship” It would have been hard to tell with her hair still casting a dark shadow on her face that Farah was in grieving had it not been for the few streaky damp patches on her cheeks. “I’m sure that they would nag me to do that much at least”

"Thank you for the offer." Hector replied, taking her hand as she was lifted onto the horse. "If I may be so bold, what will you do now?" Hector asked.

“Survive” the answer was curt, not through rudeness or bitter feelings toward Hector but through Farah’s sheer refusal to acknowledge the grief washing over her. Yes she had dealt with loss and the Hannon trader would be lying if she said her hands were free of blood but seeing her ship, the lives of the men and women who worked for her, enveloped do quickly in death and despair was a new one even for her.
For a while she steered the stallion on in silence, tracing the road with her eyes “I have nothing to do as of now and….if I’m honest…My mind is blank of answers….”

"Well then, would you like to come with me?" Hector offered calmly. "You don't seem to have any place to go, and I do owe you.

[~I kinda want to give the Darkness more of a backstory, soooo here goes c:]
Liam sat cross legged at the throne, deep in thought over what had just happened with he and Hector, but he began to recall everything the darkness had shown him, the stories from 'its' past. It showed him images of dozens of ancient kings that had been overcome by weakness and let the darkness consume them. They all became monsters, leading their countries into ruin as they tried to control everything. Time passed and one rose up to challenge them, a priestess who possessed an ancient power to fight the darkness. A fight between the two ensued, but no matter what happened they would all lead to the one definitve moment where one of them would die.
Liam stood and headed to the balcony, his eyes locked on the horizon, he awaited his destiny...

((Trolololol. Imagining every single time, everyone who gets possessed ends up falling in love with the priestess only to get shot down because they're evil. Or maybe the opposite with the darkness coming about because they were in love but couldn't have her. Hector: the ultimate lady troll xd ))
