Then they all saw the little rattata did the finishing blow to the Dragonite it fell to the ground with dazed eyes.

"Amazing! What a win! that was so unexpected but that little rattata won!" called the AC. "And the winner is Rita with her Rattata!"
Lilly jumped up cheering, "Amazing Rita! you showed him!"
Missy jumped up and dow also, cheering.

"Oh my Gosh! Rita, that was Amazing!" Naime flew to Rita; Paralyzed in awe, and disbelief "Rita?" Namine shook her hand around her.
". . . In. . . Sane. . ." Rita stared at the Rattata as it smiled back at her. "Namine. . ."
"I got ya." Naime picked up Rita and flew to the lobby.
"I got to admit, that was a crazy battle." Namine said to her while the Little Rattata walked beside the pair.

Lilly ran into the lobby with Missy on her shoulder, "OMG! Rita that was briliant!" she hugged Rita and bent down to pet the rattata behind the ear, "That was a crazy battle, little one but you made it!" Then she looked up at Rita, "You will use this little guys in our battle won't you?" she was confident she would make it to the final round.

"Um. . . Thanks," Rita sweated a little. "Well, Its better if I get all of my pokemon to participate. To tell you the truth, I never expected that much power coming from the little guy." Rita smiled at the rattata as it cuddled Rita's leg. "Alright little guy, time to go back into your ball." Rita grabbed her Pokeball and sent the little guy back in "Well, that was a excellent display you did there Rita." A young man who resembled Czar except he's wearing a lab coat. "And I got to admit. . . I never understood the little guys power until recently when you used it in battle."

Lilly went back to the stands to watch the battle, with Missy. She knew she would be battling one of them next.

Raskal took his seat next to Lilly once again and turned to her. "So what goes throguh your mind when you're battling for ribbons on stage like that?" He asked quizically.
The trainer wanted to gauge her answer to better understand his new companion as a fellow trainer of pokemon. If he could understand another's mindset, he would better understand how to battle against them, a tactic he employed while training with Team Rocket. Though this time he wanted to genuinly get to know Lilly as a person, not just a trainer or coordinator.

Lilly smiled, "Well... there is so much going on at once, it's hard to explain, you won't know unless your up there showing off appeals or battling, and even if you are up there, every coordinator feels different. But I have to say it is an amazing feeling... I don't think it is much different feeling than battling for badges, I think the only major difference is that there is a bigger crowd. "

It certainly wasn't the answer he had expected to hear. In a way, Lilly had dodged his question entirely, but in another she had answered it completely.
There was always much to think about when caught up in a pokemon battle; your opponent's moves, your reactions, the health and status of your pokemon, as well as whatever strategy the trainer chooses to employ. Every battle was a new situation for the individual to consider and figure out. Therefore Raskal held the belief that adaptation was the key to victory.
"So does having a crowd ever affect the way you battle?" He asked her.
