__ Tetsuhiko nodded as he listened to Hikaru and Zhi speak and focused intently on his marionette. The Iron Prince tried to control Penthesilia to exit the building but was unable to with his kugutsu strings."There's some sort of a barrier." He then sent out a magnetic field to cover the area and regained control of the iron queen Penthesilia. She then levitated upwards and broke through the walls of the building in an escape. As his comrades indicated there was no reason bothering with a building that did not have a hostage. Zhi had numerous clones running into the rest of the available buildings. Tetsuhiko watched the real Zhi closely to make sure she was not in any danger. He turned to Hikaru and spoke while pointing at the building the original Zippy was inhabiting. "Watch her closely in case anything happens." Tetsuhiko's tone became serious as he began to sharply focus on the mission in front of him. Penthesilia then returned to stand right in front of him. He could now manipulate her with his threads and with magnetism.
Zhi's clones would encounter nothing but resistance when they entered the other buildings. The inhabitants very predictably turned on them whenever a clone made its presence known, launching generally ineffective attacks and setting up barriers haphazardly, all except for the building that Zhi went into. The dummy there was sitting with its knees to its chest, looking as sad as a featureless rock dummy could. It looked up at her words, then outstretched its arms like a child looking for a hug. That was when a series of seals across its body lit up and barriers spread across all four walls, the floor, and ceiling, blocking any exits.
Outside, a few beefy-looking rock dummies rose from the ground at the town's edge and lumbered toward the building Zhi was now trapped in. One of them briefly tried to fumble with some of the money on the ground, but went on its way after almost falling over in the attempt.
__ Well, at least Zhi was successful the second time. The only consequence now was that she was sealed into the building she ventured into. Furthermore, giant golems now were converging onto her location. Lovely. Hikaru channeled more of his paper into explosive tools by having the paper fly in between the grasp of his left and right hands. He already expanded the circle his paper flew in, so his first target was to demolish the stone golem which was bent over grabbing the money. Two explosive notes flew on each side of his legs equally four total, while two more made their way only his hunched back. Finally, another two flew right beside his head as they all detonated to take the golem down. If a B-ranked amount of paper bombs was not enough to take one down then he had no problem bombarding the enemy with more. Otherwise he would guide his additional bombs and paper to destroying the other three. "I'll work on the big guys. Just get Zhi out safely." Hikaru said to Tetsuhiko, and pointed to the building in case he didn't get the memo of which one was real. The paper boy did his job of monitoring where their ally was. Now that she was trapped, however, it was his job to help with the rescue.

__ Zhi's clones expected some kind of resistance, even if each group was honestly hoping one of them would find the right one. None of them did, but they also figured that just letting themselves be defeated was more risky than the alternative. Thus, each of Zhi's doppelgangers armed themselves with a kunai knife in each hand when the other golems attacked. They were sloppy and overly committed, which made things a little easier for them to handle. They'd focus on parrying whatever they couldn't dodge, even making use of the blades on their boots when needed. The clones worked with each other to counterattack wherever opportunities were presented, mostly focusing on the enemies' legs or arms to immobilize and neutralize the threats rather than outright destroy or kill them.
Meanwhile, the real Zhi was lucky enough to find the real target. What a crazy idea it was to leave the hostage by theirself while the bulk of the enemy forces played the roles of distractions. At least, that was how Zhi felt at first until she realized that she'd rather stupidly walked into a trap too. It wasn't a trap she really should have been surprised by though. A barrier took its place within the building, similar to the one that had been used to separate Tetsuhiko from his puppet. "Daaw... y'got me... ..." She slouched defeatedly for a moment while the hostage dummy just reached for her. Suddenly, she perked up and shouted, "OR DID YOU!? Bawh hahah hah hah!" Zhi's hands rested on her hips for a moment while she laughed with preemptive triumph. She suddenly grabbed one of the child golem's hands, pulling it with all her might to follow over to the far backside of the building. "Time to shine!" She mumbled excitedly as she put both of her gloved palms against the wall. "Utsuwa." Zhi sighed as she primed her prepared sealing formuli to do their jobs. In an instant, the building as a whole was sealed away into her right hand then released through the seal on her left glove's palm. However, now she and the hostage would be facing the outside of the same wall they were next to. Zhi didn't have to, but she glanced back over her shoulder to her friends who were acting to rescue her from that predicament.
Zhi again grabbed the hostage's hand and now applied a surge of Jinton chakra throughout her frame to accelerate into a shunshin. She dragged the dummy with her as best she could to bring them both back to the temporary safety of her teammates. She'd even make use of the one-time turn if needed to get around the imposing danger. If all went as according to plan, Zhi would exclaim, "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Now it's time to beat up the rest of the baddies!" Those of her clones that endured the conflict with the other enemies would come running out of the other buildings to also regroup and reinforce.

__ Tetsuhiko had watched Zhi perform all of her actions in an instant which resulted in her rescuing the hostage. Once she returned and said that it was time to defeat the enemy dummies he nodded. "Good night! Good night! Parting is such sweet sorrow. Our doubts are traitors and make us lose the good we oft might win by fearing to attempt. So wise so young, they say do never live long. Hell is empty and all the devils are here!" With that poetic quotation Tetsuhiko waved his arms and sent Penthesilia flying into a building with two dummys. With incredible speed the puppet sent two of her blades in each hand into a forward motion to pierce through their faces.
Hikaru's explosives took out one of the lumbering golems and caused the others to stop for a moment to reassess the situation. The Zhi made her great escape and Tetsuhiko started cleaning up the stragglers. Seeing no point in continuing the exercise at this point, Bast had her clones dismiss the pseudo-village. It crumbled fairly quickly and decisively at that point.
"Good job," Bast called out to the Genin. "Hostage situations are tricky. It's best to always assume there will be complications and plan tactical redundancies accordingly. Since you all look lively still, I'm sending you on a mission here in the village. A snake pit has been found behind the Tea Shoppe Citadel. Go and either move it or kill the snakes. If any escape, evacuate the area and find it. Any questions or complaints?"

__ The cluster of seven Zhi all exchanged surprised glances between each other and their other two boys on their team as their quest literally crumbled all around them. Bastet's praise at least gave reason for why. They all carefully listened to their sensei's debriefing as well as the order to go on a mission. THEIR FIRST MISSION. Every one of her started shaking excitedly then replied to their teacher in perfect sync, "NO MA'AM!" The chorus of acknowledgement saluted the heroine then about faced like a trained troupe. Only the real Zhi spoke for a moment, "Time for some snake wrasslin'!" The other six pumped their fists into the air and cheered eagerly before all seven rushed off to their destination. Hopefully these snakes weren't venomous, but they'd cross that bridge when they got there. Zhi expected her teammates to catch up in no time.

__ Once Penthesilia slayed her targets Tetsuhiko stood at attention when his sensei spoke. Lady Bastet was ever sublime in her practical advice. "Time for those snakes to whitness...a sublime performance!" With his marionette still under his magnetic and puppetry control He ran with Zhi towards the Tea Shoppe Citadel.

__Hikaru smiled as the mission was completed. When he heard the next assignment, he allowed his paper to obscure him from sight. Once it did, the paper all fell to the ground as the boy disappeared. There was no reason to stay after all. There was another mission to be had.
__"SEEEEEEEENNNNSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEI!!!!!!" A crowd of like-toned chipper voices called over to Bastet as their source came running like the mob of fangirls they were. "Guess what? Guess what!? Guess WHAT!? GUESS WHAT!?!?" All the clones chattered energetically while attempting to hold their teacher's attention captive. "TEAM BASTET HAS CAPTURED ALL THE SNAKES!" Hikaru and Tetsuhiko would probably catch up any second now. The real Zhi spoke alone for a moment, "We'll find a new home for them later, no problem! Kay?" Zhi flashed a confident thumbs up, and her clones followed suit.
__ Tetsuhiko danced his way back into the training grounds to regroup with Bastet-sensei. Penthesilia had danced alongside him as he approached Sunagakure's legendary heroine."Yes, all the snakes were captured as now the Tea Shoppe Citadel can return to its beauty!" The dancing Iron Prince's heart skipped a beat as he thought back to the ideal of eternal beauty. His marionettes, constructed from strong steel would be eternally beautiful. "My art shall be appreciated for centuries to come!" The fanciful lad continued to dance, but this time broke out in the argentine tango with Penthesilia.

__Hikaru sighed as he arrived back at the training grounds. As expected his two teammates were talking up the success of the mission. They both failed to mention the true victim. “One down. Zhi was truly useful back there. All I did was pay the bills.” He said as he looked at the other two, then Bast. Of course he didn’t actually have to give his personal money, but man did it disappoint him that his only contribution to the team was his deep pockets. He hoped the next mission involved something a medical ninja would be more useful at.
As her squad returned triumphantly, Bast was nearly floored by the wall of enthusiasm that was the crowd of Zhis all shouting simultaneously. Hikaru's disappointment piqued her interest for a moment, though, and she turned her attention straight to Tetsuhiko.
"Shouldn't the rich kid be paying for everything? Why make Hikaru pay?" She raised an eyebrow accusingly at the noble family's son, held that look for a second, then sighed. She reached into one of her pockets and retrieved a camera. "Whatever. For now, I've arranged more work for you. The newspaper wants to get a look into your lives as Genin, so be sure to take some notes and get some good pictures while you're on this next couple of missions. First, go deliver the mail throughout the residential district. It should be--" the doors swung open and a breathless teenager traipsed in with three bags of mail on one shoulder "--and there it is. After that, head to the hospital and pick up a prescription for someone at this address." Bast shifted her grip on the camera, revealing a small piece of paper with some writing on it. "Zhi, go get someone who can take some nice photos and meet up with your teammates in the residential district. Tetsu, Hikaru, get started with the mail."

__ The real Zhi giggled a little and looked back at Hikaru when he mentioned paying the bills. Her attention went back to her sensei when Bastet spoke. "Ah! Err...." She was going to try explaining that she put it on Hikaru's tab whimsically, but that they could easily cover the costs by selling the snakes back to the store. However, the topic moved on rather promptly. She and her clones carefully listened to their list of assignments as they were explained. Zhi and all her clones stood at attention and saluted in perfect sync while affirmatively replying, "YES LADY BASTET-SENSEI!!" Instantly, she knew exactly who to get. There was only one other person she really trusted anyway. Her and her clones all held the same sentiment as they dashed away.

__ There were few sights in the world as intimidating to Tetsuhiko as his sensei's arched eyebrow. When she questioned him as to why Hikaru was spending the money instead of himself Tetsuhiko quickly gave an evasive response. "I'm afraid father hasn't allowed me any access to the clan treasuries since my last project..." His lord father Hachiro Hanzo had revoked his extravagently spending son's access to family finances half a year ago. He was working on a grand stage performance in preparation for his graduation from the academy. He wanted to create over a hundred bunraku puppets for the show and ended up having to scale the cast back to ten when his financial line was cut off. In contrast, Hachiro Hanzo had not spent a dime on himself in decades preferring to be miserly instead.
Tetsuhiko continued to listen to Bastet-sensei when the subject was quickly changed. He listened to the new mission details and became further excited.Under his sensei's leadership, his career as a young ninja was really progressing. His ears perked up when he heard Bastet refer to him as "Tetsu"without finishing the name with "hiko." This caught the Iron Prince off guard when he realized that his emotionally reserved teacher had given him...a nickname! Although he generally despised nicknames the small detail of familiarity established between teacher and student was exhilerating. "Sensei." Tetsuhiko muttered in a sigh before bursting out with enthusiasm. "A nickname?! You really do like me!" The lad jumped up as high as he could and clicked his heels in enthusiasm. As Penthesilia accepted half of the mail Tetsuhiko ran over and leaned in to quickly hug his teacher before running off to the residential district, smiling and waving at his sensei while urging Hikaru to follow along.
