Bast hadn't anticipated her student's reaction to the moniker to be so immediate and enormous. Rather than the typical flair Tetsuhiko operated with, now it seemed like he really was a kid. Her old students and underlings hadn't reacted this way. San hadn't noted the moment she transitioned away from addressing him as Sanshi, nor had Knives noted when she'd stopped calling him Ken. Faced with an impending hug from a very eager Tetsuhiko, Bast fell back on her training and sidestepped him with all of the skill and grace she could muster, slipping through his grasp like little more than a breeze without leaving a trace of her passage. She wondered briefly if this was how Sadayo felt all the time around him.

"Get to work," she ordered the would-be hug assailant. With a sidelong glance toward Hikaru, she added: "And don't you go trying for a hug either!"

__Hikaru chuckled at Lady Bast’s side step. She clearly cared more than she let on. When she turned to him, he did feel his heart race a little. Given the context he doubted she was truly scorning him. However, it was best to show respect. His face became stern as he shook his head no once to signify that he would never attempt something so intimate. He then bowed as he went off to traverse with Tetsu, which was a cute nickname for the eccentric performer. Hikaru wasn’t truly sure where he fit into this group, with the two wildly extroverted teammates and their stern but fair leader. Nonetheless, this was his team, and he was proud to have some sense of purpose.

Karuto arrived at the Dojo, ready to get to work. He sat down on the wooden floor and unrolled a scroll his father had given him. The preferred fighting style of his family: The Kaiser Fist. Time to get to work.
The first training he would have to undergo would be training to use his entire body weight behind his strikes. Thankfully, this was easy for him. Approaching a nearby board he punched, putting his entire, and considerable, weight behind the blow. It shattered in two with ease.
The power behind the Kaiser Fist was the heavy strikes and the armor. He learned the first bit now time to learn the first stage of the second bit. Concentrating the chakra he pushed it outwards, creating an invisible armor. It kept him going, and after a few miles of runs while holding it, he realized it would not allow him to tire. Cool!

The next attack was pretty damn simple. A straight forward headbutt while encased in his armor. Studying the scroll to learn the correct line of attack, he approached a wooden beam nearby. Rearing his head back, the Shinobi struck forward. His forehead hit and dented the wooden beam. Done and done.
The next attack was kinda sneaky for this style. Approaching a training dummy Karuto threw out a punch. When his arm was extended over the dummy, mimicking the target ducking, he brought his elbow down upon the dummys head, shattering it. If this wooden thing was a real person that would have really hurt them. The next technique was a return to simplicity: a straight punch. Practicing over and over again he would try to increase the speed of his punch using chakra to bolster his physical abilities. After a few minutes of practice he noticed a significant increase to speed based on his chakra enhanced technique.

Another straight forward attack! Just a plain out elbow strike. Taking a stroll outside Karuto attempted to find the nearest plain outcropping of rocks. Living in Suna, that wasn't hard. Covering himself with his armour he threw out his Elbow Bolt and BAM! The rocks turned to pebbles. Gods was he strong. Immediately jumping into the air after damaging that boulder, he threw his leg straight up into the air. Coming down on the boulder he brought his heel down upon it. As soon as he did the boulder blew up. Rocks blasted apart and scattered in the training area. Landing on the ground he immediately pivoted on his heel and formed his hand into an open palm. Bringing a back hand around he slammed the side of his hand into what little remained of the boulder. As soon as it made contact what little remained of he boulder crumbled to dust. One less outcropping of rock for the gardener to deal with.

More training! Just an advanced form of his punching training that he had begun to learn earlier. This second step built upon the first, helping him maintain his footing while increasing the strength. A couple rounds with a punching bag and he was sure he had it mastered. Onto the next one! The next technique was a keystone technique of the style. He would attack the target and deliver a running close-line. After connecting the attack the target would be forced to the ground with high speed and damaging them even further. Surrounding himself with his Lightning Armour, he attacked a punching bag. Extending his arm out, he attacked and threw it to the ground- Tearing off the chain and being thrown to the ground as a result. Smirking at the success of his attack, he decided to move onto the next one. He only had a few left after all. The next attack was a forward drop kick, based entirely off the leg strength off the user. Comparitively, Karuto was still young and had much strength training left to undergo. Regardless, he would learn this attack. Aiming at a section of wall he charged at it. He jumped off the ground and was sent cascading forward, shooting forward like a rocket out of a bottle. When he struck the wall heel first he went right through it. Laughing as he dug himself out of the hole he made, the Raiken returned to the center of the Dojo to wrap up his training in the Kaiser Fist.

Learned Jutsu
Heavy Punch
Rank: E :: Training
Description: All practitioners of The Kaiser Fist take pride in their powerful yet basic punches, both masters and beginners are no exception. Although it seems fundamental, practice and proper footing are needed to deliver a strong punch without recoil or offsetting. This is the first step toward developing that incredible raw power; throwing a punch with all of your might, while keeping yourself balanced. Confers a slight increase to the strength of physical techniques used while under the effects of an armor technique.

Stimulating Armor
Rank: C :: Armor
Description: A basic Armor technique developed by an old master of the style which allowed his students to maintain their potential for an extended period. In a sense, it mimics the technique Raiton no Yoroi, though on much a lower level. Rather than increasing the abilities of the user, it prevents them from becoming exhausted. While active, the user's strength and fortitude cannot be reduced below normal levels. It should also be noted that there is no noticeable physical difference while this technique is active. Lasts for five posts.

Kaiser Crown
Rank: X :: Simple
Description: The practitioner will thrust their head at the opponent at a slight downward angle with great force and speed. Direct collision is enough to crack boulders and bones without much recoil. Against harder materials, if not protected by an Armor technique, the practitioner will likely become dazed or completely stunned. If used while under the effects of an armor technique, this technique gains a slight increase to strength per rank.

Crumbling Overhead
Rank: X :: Simple
Description: The practitioner “feints” a high straight punch, while actually turning their arm in such a way as to drop a powerful blow onto the top of the opponent’s head instead. Reduces an unarmored opponent's fortitude by one descriptive rank per this technique's rank for two posts.

Sudden Straight
Rank: X :: Complex
Description: After sending a surge of chakra through their arm, the practitioner is able to deliver a swift and precise straight punch to the target. Because of the chakra boost, the strike is quick enough to completely surprise most unprepared or inexperienced opponents, while still maintaining that standard meaty power. Speed is increased mildly per rank.

Elbow Bolt
Rank: X :: Simple
Description: The practitioner will thrust or swing their elbow at the opponent with great force and speed. The collision is enough to break boulders and bones without much recoil. Against harder materials, if not protected by an Armor technique, the user will probably break their own elbow too! Ninjutsu defenses are treated as Simple when interacting with this technique.

Guillotine Drop
Rank: X :: Simple
Description: The practitioner stretches their leg almost completely straight up, and then drives it back down with incredible force and speed. The collision is enough to break boulders, bones, and even cause damage to untempered metals. Against harder materials, if not protected by an Armor technique, the practitioner will probably break their own foot! Treated as complex when interacting with physical defenses.

Iron Backhand
Rank: X :: Complex
Description: Using a surge of chakra to purposely startle the body, the practitioner looses a quick and powerful backhanded strike to the target. The chakra pulsed through the body allows this particular attack to be delivered when others would be too slow to deal with something such as a sneaking opponent, but also maintains the force needed to crack or break bones. Adds any bonuses to strength gained from this Style to the speed of this technique. This does not include increases provided by armor techniques.

Meaty Punch
Rank: C :: Training
Description: The second step toward developing the ideal face-breaking punch: using stepping motion and momentum to “swing into” the hit. In a sense, this is a method similar to properly slugging a baseball bat. Just make sure that you haven’t forgotten about keeping your balance! Increases the strength of physical techniques in this Style moderately.

1/1 For All

Breaking Lariat
Rank: X :: Simple
Description: A clothesline variation where the practitioner charges the opponent, attempting to slam their arm semi-diagonally against the target’s neck and chest, while applying downward force to smash them into the ground. If the target is slammed into something solid, the initial strike is treated as complex when interacting with any defenses and damage is dealt again as a simple technique upon impact with the surface.

Golem Missile
Rank: B :: Simple
Description: The practitioner dashes at an opponent, jumps off the ground, and delivers a dropkick. The damage inflicted by this attack is almost always the same, but the leg strength of the practitioner is what best determines the distance and speed they travel after getting off the ground. Three feet vertically per slight increase to leg strength the user has.

2/2 For All

Invigorating Armor
Rank: B :: Armor
Description: An advanced Armor technique that was actually developed by a struggling young practitioner of The Kaiser Fist. This technique, like Stimulating Armor, allowed him to maintain his peak physical potential; While active, this armor generates a thin aura of Chakra and prevents the user's strength and fortitude from being reduced below normal levels, while also granting a mild increase to both as well. Lasts for six posts.

3/3 For All

"So...you just want to use me as grapple practice?"

"Yeah, and try not to talk a lot. Training partners usually don't talk a lot" Karuto tossed the bag of money to the bodybuilder he had 'rented' for the day and started reading over his scroll. This Taijutsu style was predominantly about grapples. Striking was his forte...grapples were something completely knew. He was sure Taijutsu was his speciality but still, this would test his prodigious capacity. "Rad"

The two main stances, and one could say the backbone of of the entire style, were the two stances. One being the Hades Stance and the other being the Olympian Stance. Approaching his 'volunteer' he sprung at him, first going low and then going high, alternating between the two stances. One is good for downward crushing power and the other for upward momentum. Getting the two stances down was easy enough, it would be switching between them seamlessly that was the hard part. Practicing on his target, whom was ordered to try to resist, he practiced going back and forth as well as keeping a strong grip. Multiple times the dude was able to get away. He got to the point where his technique was solid but his grip needed work. So he kept at it, focusing on his lock strength. Eventually he was able to keep a hold on the muscled dude, and transition from one hold to the other seamlessly

The next stage of the training primarily had to do with when the opponent was already flat on their back. Instructing the bodybuilder to charge at him, Karuto sprung into action. Countering the blow by stepping into it, grabbing the man's arm and throwing him over his shoulder. He held onto the man's arm and followed. He ended up with his shoulder into the man's diaphragm, twisting his arm while digging into his chest. In order to assert his weight more onto the mans and to get a better leverage he rose and pushed on the balls of his feet. This gave him more of an advantage and would allow him to transition to other positions more easily. After he successfully found his balance with both the base stance and the alternate stance, he decided to transition completely. Shifting around he got to a sitting position on the man's chest, throwing punches into the dudes fact (albeit light ones). From this position he could control the battle. After learning all these, Karuto realized there were some glaring flaws. If someone were to grapple him he knew he could get out with much easier than he would have otherwise. Manipulating a body, both his and others, was becoming much simpler than he imagined it would have initially been.

The next stage had a lot more versatile techniques, with the first one even having alternate methods of performing it. 'Act of hercules huh?' Taking his training partner around the waist, Karuto began practicing the three different variations of the first technique. Mostly they just had to do with the angle and force applied at the hips resulting in either a takedown, spear of psuedo-suplex. All three were rather simple and mastered quickly. The next two were a pair technique. Approaching his partner from behind, he put the man in a big headlock. Shifting his chest forward and his shoulders back he stopped the man, apparently called Dave, from getting any traction on the ground. He then swept the legs and sent him crashing forward. As that happened he wrapped his legs around the opponents waist. Once on the ground he pushed forward with his lower body and pulled back with his upper. The result was an unconcious body builder in just a few seconds. The next two strikes were simple. Just a forearm after a grapple and some hammer strikes on a prone target. Letting Dave rest, he went up to a hay dummy and started practicing. His forearm strikes could dent a tree now so he knew he had that one down. The hammer strikes were clumsy, but thanks to his previous Taijutsu training he adapted quick and added them to his retinue successfully.

The final stage he could learn at this point was mainly focused on getting his opponent on the ground. He wanted to go ahead and knock out the first one, and only one, that required his opponent to already be on the ground. Taking his still unconcious Dave, he got his arm between his legs and put his legs under his shoulder. Using the arm as a lever he pulled and shifted upwards. He relented before breaking the mans arm or dislocating the shoulder. Again, this was simple to him. He was called a prodigy for a reason after all. He woke Dave up, and after a water break, ordered him to attack him once again. Dave obliged and Karuto sprung to action, ducking underneath from the Hades Stance and grabbed Dave around his waist. Using his hips as the pivot point he raised the man up and swung him back, making his neck land on a hay pile. Had he wanted to, Karuto could have broken the mans neck. That was hardly necessary in a training session however. Taking Dave while he was still on the ground he pinned his arm. Quickly, he also scooped up the mans elbow and trapped it in his grip. Using his free hand to apply torque he wrenched the man's limb to the side. The result was an agonizing wail as he struggled to get free. This would force the man to drop whatever he was carrying in that arm as it couldn't form a grip. That would be helpful for Weapon's users. Raising Dave up, he told him to come at him one more time. He obliged, but with hesitation this time. As Dave swung Karuto stepped into the blow and grabbed his arm. He brought the man up and over his hip, throwing him on the ground. Following the dude down, Karuto ended up in a position he learned earlier, one which allowed him to transition to more position and more locks. He was starting to see how it all flowed together but this was as far as he was going into it for now.

Time to switch things up. He needed speed and for that he needed to train it. Karuto would start running around the dojo, jumping, flipping and vaulting over everything he could get his hands on. He was trying to adapt his body to handle the shocks and impacts of a high landing. While training, he learned how to somersault effectively as well as vault over low objects. It was simple enough in theory but in reality he stuggled here more than with Olympus. It was unusual for him to move in such a way. He was doing fine, though, and after an hour or so felt like he had adapted well enough.

Now to practice changing direction. He would front flip and then as soon as his foot hit the ground, backflip. It took some doing, he tripped a few times, but eventually he got it so that he didn't waste a beat in moving with the jumps. Running at Dave he jumped in the air and stuck one leg out. Bringing his leg crashing down on dave. The bodybuilder recoiled as Karuto immediately did the same again but with a front flip. Easy enough. Running past him Karuto reached out and grabbed a nearby pole. Twisting around it he kicked Dave in the back, sending him flying. It was a good technique but honestly the pole kinda limited it's use. Oh wlel.

Masato entered the dojo, ready to resume some forms of physical training... he felt unnerved. It had been some time since he was able to push himself. He wondered if he had grown. Not simply in power but in mind as well. Any achievements would be small compared to Nariomi sensei but it was the direction he had intended to move. He lingered while he prepared for his training. Unsure of where to begin. He could always improve upon his chakra control...

Masato wanted to begin by practicing his chakra control by practicing the various hand seals once again, it was important to visit the basics numberous times in order to master the arts. Working his fingers lose by cracking each joint he would begin. Tiger, dragon, rat, and the others were formed by his hands over and over again. He would control his breathing with calm inhales and exhales at a steady, repetitive pace.

As he practiced the hand signs he moved around his chakra for extra control.
He continued his breathing as he did so. He could feel this energy moving throughout his system. Eventually, he would settle his chakra before commencing another round of chakra movement.

His focus increased as he felt himself making progress on his chakra control.
This was an area he wasn't so naturally gifted in as a taijutsu user who uses only some ninjutsu, but practice always helps the inexperienced ninja. He formed another round of handsigns as his chakra settled again.

Another round of hand seals were performed as he folded his fingers into the different shapes. He felt the power stirring through him and he found it rather addicting. Once again he settled his chakra, feeling a greater sense of his own power.

Once more he practiced the hand signs and began the movement of chakra through his internal chakra network. As the chakra moved through him he began to sweat a little before he allowed it to settle again. Now he felt a greater sense of control as well as an increased pool of chakra.

[Intermediate Meditation: Complete ]

He felt that he had deepened his knowledge of chakra, but he would continue sure that he was more than capable of extending his capabilities. .

Masato commenced his second round of meditation by beginning his steady breathing exercises. Inhale, exhale, in, out, calmness began to wash over him as the anxiety vanished. He could feel his chakra begin to move a little bit as he performed his breathing.

Once the breathing began he started to stretch his fingers and form all of the hand seals in order in a steady fashion. As his fingers formed the various shapes he felt himself gain a little more control over his chakra. He continued to fold his hands into the hand seals as his chakra movement began to intensify.

Now that his chakra was in full motion and the hand seals allowed him more control he began to sweat. The chakra flowed through his body at various points as he attempted to gain control. Once he could not physically handle more chakra movement he settled it.

With more breathing and hand sign performance he moved his chakra through his body some more. The movement felt much stronger than before and he used all of his concentration to manage it. The chakra finally settled in his core again.

Masato certainly felt a difference after several minutes of meditation,
but it felt as though mere seconds passed because he was so tuned it.
It was a similar sensation to feeling in flow when designing a new puppet, painting, or performing a song as the time just flew by. He moved his chakra throughout his entire network with much greater precision. After many more moments he exhaled triumphantly as his settled chakra pool grew.

๑๑๑๑Cracking his neck from side to side as he walked in, Hideo yawned overtly, his blank eyes lazily rolling from one side of the room to the other. Cradling his right arm in the crook of his left, he stretched it off to his side as he strolled over towards his usual training spot, switching arms as he reached it. When he did, he noticed one of the genin who participated in the village tournament standing roundabout in the area the Hyuuga himself enjoyed training. He looked...confused was the best way to put it. Now that Hideo thought about it, the boy's name stuck out to him in particular from the tournament roster in the viewing area. He'd had by far the quickest match, forcing a girl to yield in under five minutes. It was an impressive feat for a genin to say the least. Perhaps this was the sparring partner he needed, someone who would push him as far as he could go.

Clearing his throat in an attempt to garner attention, Hideo smiled politely with a bit of a nod towards him. "Masato right? I caught your match a couple weeks ago before the Ichibi incident. Well, if you could call it a match at least." the genin smirked as he scratched the back of his head as he spoke. In his movement Hideo casually gave Masato a once over. Off the bat the guy had a muscular structure he didn't see in most other genin. The casual observer might have passed this particular bit of information over as nothing more than coincidental, however Hideo himself wondered just how much physical training the guy did. Judging by his frame he had to lean towards taijutsu as his main form of combat, but that was a simple guess. Nothing was quite what it seemed with shinobi, and Masato could have been no exception to that. Even personally, one would rarely guess Hideo had an affinity for a particular style of taijutsu himself, let alone most Hyuuga for that matter.

Extending his right hand informally as he slipped his left into his pants pocket, he cocked his head slightly to the left. "The name's Hideo."

As Masato pondered what came next, a young man approached him. He recognized Masato, calling him by name. Masato's eyebrow raised, curious about how the boy knew him. His explanation came shortly after. Masato rubbed the back of his neck with his left hand as he listened to Hideo explain that he'd seen his fight with the puppet girl. "Right.. " he said extending his right hand to Hideo's. " Hideo, got it. " he said wistfully. His grip was firm, he didn't make an effort to rush the genin's hand, but he wasn't one to grip anything lightly anyway. His eyes shifted between hideo and the monster of a man behind them. Such a large person with bulging muscles would have to have ample punching power than a normal man. But... how could he move efficiently with the size he was. Masato's grip had unintentionally tightened during his brief side thought. Realizing this, he released the hand of Hideo and offered a forced smile. " Sorry. My mind is somewhere else today. "

Having learned many techniques complimenting his strength and toughening his body, Karuto decided it would be prudent to learn some that allowed him to augment his agility and increase his speed. Soon, he would crash down upon his enemies like a wave. The stance he was currently learning would be the base for that. Keeping his abs coiled to strike and his knees bent, he hopped back and forth with his hands up like a boxer. This stance was supposedly able to help him counter and dodge. Speaking dodging, time to practice. Having Dave throw punch after punch at him Karuto practiced parrying and dodging. He would use his forearms and shins to shift attacks away, letting his own momentum do the work for him. What he couldn't redirect he stepped out of the way of. Speed and reflex was the name of the game here and he was learning it. After he was able to successfully dodge he would throw out quick jabs to the face. The attacks were light and quick, but he became adept at being able to throw them out after every dodge. There counter-attack would wittle an opponent down effectively.

The next stage of the training began. It was a short one but very critical to his development. The training consisted of increasing the force behind his strikes when countering, which meant drawing substantial power quickly and without a long wind up. To practice this Karuto started performing 1 inch punches on a wooden board. He repeated it over and over until he mastered the art of quick and powerful strikes. The next training he would undergo would be how to disengage or reengage quickly. Training his backpeddling speed he would practice by doing sprints all around the Dojo. He would work on his nimbleness, his feints and his counters while moving about. After working on it for an hour or so he felt confident he had it down.

The third stage consisted of three techniques that were primarily used in combination with one another. Since they were supposed to be used that way it was best to train them in such a fashion. First he worked on his dodging. Now instead of stepping out of the way he would dodge, bob and weave out of danger. He would wait until the last second and move just enough that the attack would almost skim his body. He was so close the sweat of Dave would get on him as he dodged. Karuto then practiced dodging more attacks this way and striking back. It was a double up melee attack. It was risky but if he moved and acted in the right way he would be promised a strike by his fists in the moment the opponent let his guard down. Might as well make that strike as powerful as it could be. Coiling his arms he channeled chakra and struck out. The blow hit dave and would knock him back several feet. It was an attack he could augment his strikes with, primarily for gaining some room.

Now things were getting a little bit more complex. The next training he was about to undergo would have less to do with dodging and more to do with striking his opponents limbs as they attacked. This would parry the attack and damage the opponent. Having dave strike him he would weave out of the way and counter with quick blows to the inside of the arms and the thighs. This knocked the limb out of the way and left him wide open for further counterattacks. It was a very useful training to have done. The next two attacks were supplementary. Spinning his arm in a circle he would strike out at Dave with chakra built up in his arm. It was similar to an attack he learned before but was more confused on doing damage than creating room. The wind up allowed for even MORE damage to be done. This would be a good finishing move, however, as it was more advanced he would practice it a few more times before he was confident he could perform it in battle. Dave would take the brunt of the damage over and over until Karuto was satisfied. Building up the Chakra was unusual as he didn't like using it. He considered Chakra an augment to his Taijutsu. He didn't like to rely on it at all and thought it was a weakness to do so. After practicing his arms he trained his legs. It didn't take long to wrap it up and once he did he decided to take a break.

Oh, right, he wasn't here alone. He had been so in his own world with his training he had completely failed to notice the other two in the Dojo with him. Laying on his back as he was, Karuto brought his legs up and then kicked them back down, using the momentum to throw himself upright. The act of grace and flexibility would betray his newfound agility and reflexes. He was water now: shapeless and fluid. He approached the two males talking to one another, stopping a few feet from them. They each were around a foot and a half shorter than himself which was no big deal as most people were, but he had weigh more than both of them put together. Still, muscle mass meant very little in terms of combat. Had he not just completed his training he would have been a very poor combatant against a quick and nimble striker.

Placing his hands on his hips Karuto grinned "How's it going dudes? Name's Karuto."

๑๑๑๑As Masato shook his hand, Hideo found himself glad to know even in a gesture as simple as a handshake he did not hold back. Returning the shake with the same amount of force, the all white clad genin noticed his eyes waft over his shoulder somewhere off into the distance. Looking over his shoulder himself to see a large man walking over towards them, his attention immediately shot back to Masato as his grip intensified. Pulling back his hand when Masato released it, Hideo shook his hand in the air rapidly, grabbing his wrist in his other hand and massaging it lightly. Turning in an attempt to open up what was at first a one-on-one conversation to the newcomer, he introduced himself as Karuto. He'd certainly never seen him before, he wondered if the almost towering individual in front of him had only just graduated the academy.

Flashing a smile Hideo nodded towards him, "Hideo, nice to meet ya." As his eyes darted from Masato to Karuto he couldn't help but think back to the exam bout he was to have which was interrupted. A 1v1v1 free for all that he at the time was admittedly excited about. His opponents then didn't seem to put off the same heir of ability these two did, and if he was going to push himself the way he intended, perhaps it was time to truly put his limits to the test. Still, he was unsure what the intentions of either of them was while being here. He certainly didn't want to force such a proposition on either of them, and furthermore it seemed Masato had been sizing the man up from afar.

It was just as well, Hideo was often used to being overlooked in such a manner when it came to bouts of strength. He wasn't oblivious to his lean stature and how rather unimposing his visage was. However, he saw that as a strength. Sometimes it was good to be unimposing and unassuming. He found it often caught others off guard. "Well, I was just about to propose this to Masato, but I guess there's no sense in excluding anyone. The village has been a bit quiet of late, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't bored. As enticing as a mission sounds right now, I've been looking for a sparring partner or two if anyone was interested?"

The man he had been assessing seemed to sense his interest as he leapt from the floor in a rather nimble manner. Masato felt as though he didn't believe what he had first seen. There was no way someone with such mass could move like that. Could they? Introducing himself as Karuto and calling everyone dude certainly have the impression that he was laid back. Perhaps the fluid motion had reflected his personality?
"Masato" he said plainly in response to Karuto. Definitely a casual demeanor. Still, he had witnessed his training around the dojo and knew better.

Hideo would be the one to introduce the idea that everyone had seemed to have in mind. A brawl. Masato's eyes lit up with excitement, a confident smile caressing his lips. " Sounds like a party " he said, his entire nonchalant persona shifting into a more focused one. Masato's answer gave it all. He was more than willing. A good test of his abilities was in order. These two didn't look like run of the mill genin like the puppeteer had either. He awaited in suspense for Karuto's response.

A fight? Rad. He could dig that. The guy that introduced himself as Masato was tough. Anyone worth their salt in regards to taijutsu could see that his body was toned and balanced. He wasn't sure where his disciplines lay, but this man knew the art of the fists. Hideo was a little more complex. Honestly, he hadn't the faintest clue. Best to expect ninjutsu, but past that he didn't know.

'F*CK I FORGOT TO TRAIN NINJUTSU'

His eyes growing wide with alarm at his mental lapse. Oh well. The challenge made him excited and he went from alarmed to grinning with anticipation. "Sure. I mean, I haven't ever fought anyone before so this should be cool. I mean I did graduate, uhhh....like, yesterday" He could see the clockwork of his opponents brains spinning away. They were coming up with plans. Plans and schemes. He wasn't big on those. Sure, it was dumb not to have some strategy, but the more you assumed something and acted on that assumption, the worse you were off when it inevitably proved to be wrong. His plan of attack was simple: Fight.

Taking a few steps backward, he let himself fall into his Hades Stance. Feet wide, shoulder square and knees bent. It gave him optimal grappling power from a lower position and also braced himself for any coming attacks. "Just to let you guys know...I, uh, well I don't know any Ninjutsu! So...yeah, totally just not gonna even try to bluff that. Oh! Wait. Scratch that guys I know a LITTLE ninjutsu. But, ya know, just the basic shi- you know what I'm just gonna shut up now" What an idiot.

๑๑๑๑As Masato grinned, Hideo could tell he caught the genin's full attention at last. It seemed what he had proposed was exactly what the other man had come to the dojo for. Turning with a raised eyebrow towards Karuto as he remarked on his graduation date, the boy couldn't help but feel somewhat surprised. If that truly was the case, there simply was no way the towering figure that stood beside him had never trained outside of the rudimentary academy regimen. It was at that point he revealed he didn't actually have any ninjutsu on hand apart from the set necessary to pass the academy exams. "Wow, he really did just graduate" Hideo pondered to himself as his lips curled into a slight frown.

Tapping his chin for a moment, the young man sighed before coming up with an idea. "Well, I wouldn't exactly want to tear this place apart and have to pay for any renovations, and I'd hate to put you at a disadvantage so I'll make you a deal: We'll relocate to the training grounds at the academy and if Masato is up for it, simply wait for you to train up. I've got time to stretch anyway, as long as you aren't planning to keep us waiting day and night."

Looking over inquisitively at Masato, Hideo shrugged as he spoke. "Well? I'd hate to keep you waiting any longer, but I figure it isn't a true contest if we aren't all on equal footing so-to-speak."

Masato snorted, as though Karuto's weakness insulted him. " Nobody here needs ninjutsu." He said. Masato's eyes shifted over both of them. His expression was still focused and determined. " You're both clearly shinobi who talk with your fists." His eyes shifted towards Karuto. No explination was needed, just looking at him and how he carried himself. His eyes shifted back towards Hideo. He wouldn't have much of a hint outside his knowledge of Masato's fight. " You saw me fight, and you still want to challenge me? You wouldn't unless you knew you could fight close." Masato calmly turned around after his declaration " I'll be outside, bring your A game." He walked outside of the dojo, into the clearing he had trained his gates in and awaited the two to come at him. Together or separate, didn't matter.

He stood up to his full height and puffed out his chest "Yeah, f*ck ninjutsu, am I right?" Karuto said with a laugh. He followed Masato to the outside sparring grounds and walked to the far side, putting a small outcropping of rocks between the two Taijutsu artists "Let's say we kick this thing off, yeah!" Sprinting at Masato he threw himself over the rock in a method he had learned in his training, one which helped him use the momentum to carry himself forward with even greater speed. Crossing the distance between the two Shinobi faster than Karuto should have been able to, especially given his size, he reared back his arm for a punch. This was just a feint however. As he reared back his left arm, his right arm dropped to the ground as his shoulder lowered and waist bent for the punch. Placing his palm on the ground he brought his right foot up and out, attempting to deliver a swift kick to Masato's mid-section. The other dude would catch up...probably
