Supergirl didn't want to offend the...Underachiever...(what kind of name was that?)...but it didn't seem to her like he was too good at catching criminals like he said. "Let me think about it, okay?" she asked gently. "It's not everyday I get an offer like that."

Once Archer had been examined by the Cave's infirmary's tech, she headed to her room to switch out the arrows in her quiver for some normal arrows, then headed to the mission room. She called out a code that brought up a set of hard-light targets and started shooting.

Give me someone to protect. I'll give my life to keep them safe.

The Underachiever looks at her with a small frown showing and nods "Alright, well, I guess I will still be around here somewhere if you ever decide I am heroic enough." He says and looks at his HUD time. "Have a good night then Super Girl." He says and starts to walk back to probably his house.

Julian was picking out some dirt molecules from under his finely manicured fingernails when Katriana asked what why he needed them. The evil genius replied simply, "Why does the player send his pawns out first in chess while he saves his stronger pieces for later?" Julian riddled in a delightfully curious tone. "Answer? Just because that's the smart idea. Why waste good men in such hurry when you can send cannon fodder. If my sources are correct, which, they most likely are, Gamer can provide the pawns. I just need the other pieces to join me in conquest...for good old time's sake." Julian ended his statement with charming smile. "So, I ask you, how about it?"

But at the same time, there are those who are simply insane and have genius level intellect.

Julian clasped his hands together in thought. Arielle posed a very valid argument. It might as well have been a demand for Julian to get or be killed. The genius thought for a moment then came up with a solution. "I don't suppose the either of you have run into our old classmate Clyde Wesson have you? He suffers from some deeply repressed mental scars due to almost being killed by his only friend. Even though he's taken a vow to to never take a life, I'm sure you can find some way to change that. Perhaps I might die in the crossfire. You may just need to get creative." Of course the genius was lying. There no possible way he'd let Arielle ruin his plan by having her inadvertently kill him. It was all just a very clever and well sounding lie.

But at the same time, there are those who are simply insane and have genius level intellect.
