Akila gave him a thumbs up. She was very good at organizing....just not her OWN stuff/events.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is....

Markus grinned. "Good. We'll put you with old Sebastion then. He's quartermaster for us. He's a bit old though and needs some help. I've been meaning to get him an assistant but I haven't found the time. So many things to do." He sighed, then straightened up. "C'mon. I'll introduce you." He stood up and headed back into the tunnel.

Akila smiled Widely and nodded, trotting after him and taking hold of his hand when she caught up.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is....

Markus smiled at her, twining his fingers with Akila's. "Don't let Sebastion throw you off. He seems mean, but really, he's just gruff. He wouldn't actually hurt a fly." He told her reassuringly. Then entered one of the store rooms just to be greeted by a gravely voice. "Markus, unless that youngling with you is going to be working here, turn around and walk out. I'm busy!" It was impossible to see where the voice came from amongst all the stacks of things.

Akila nodded and followed happily into the room. Upon hearing the voice, she blinked and looked around in wonder. Markus was right. Things definitely needed to be organized in there.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is....

An old man popped his head out from behind a stack of bandages. "Well? What are you here for?" Markus, seemingly unaffected by the man's bad temper, chuckled and replied. "I brought you some help. Akila's good at organizing." He gestured to the girl, Sebastion leaning forwards to look at her. "Really? Hm. Bit small. She'll do I suppose. Scat Markus. We've work to do." Markus patted Akila on the shoulder. "He's not as mean as he sounds. Don't let him get to you." He whispered, then turned and left.

Akila nodded, giving Markus' hand a squeeze before watching him leave. Turning to the supposedly ill tempered man, she repeated the action she'd shown Markus, raising one hand in a salute, as her way of saying she was ready for directions.

Sebastion raised an eyebrow at the action. "Well girlie, let's see what you can do. We need to get this room in some semblance of order so Ii can get an accurate tally of what we have so far." He waved to the room. I need to know what more we need to get. So let's get this place cleaned up."

Akila nodded and pulled out paper, before going to work, pulling things down one at a time, and taking tally and stock on that paper. After a short while, new, separate piles began to form for different areas. Papers. Papers for events. goods. Different kinds of goods. (foods, healing supplies, weaponry) how many of which was kept on the paper. She didn't dare look up from her work, used to Clorogne's rage being a consequence for such an action.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is....

Sebastion worked in relative silence, only the occasional mutter breaking the quiet. When he paused for a break, he looked over at Akila. Seeing her hard at work, a small smile flickered across his face, disappearing. "What do you have so far?" He asked suddenly, striding over to look at her work.

Akila jumped in surprise and turned to him; hand over her heart. Geez, tht scared her. His question sinking in, she turned around again to gather the papers she'd been keepin track on and handed them to Sebastian with a small smile.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is....

Sebastion looked over the papers, muttering and nodding to himself. "Good good." He said at last. "Looks like you might actually be worth keeping around." His words were gruff but there was an approving gleam in his eyes. "You any good at carrying things? Unfortunately my old bones protest too much weight."

Akila chewed her lip giving him the so-so sign with her hand. She wasn't the strongest, but she was a hard worker. She could try.

"Good enough for now." Sebastion declared. "We're putting this stuff in alphabetical order, so we can find it easily. A's at that wall." He pointed over to the far wall. He began gathering up the papers, writing out labels and instructions for others.
