XXXXXGiving a soft sigh accompanying the Anbu's words Mikoto reached out to grasp the letter between his hands, reading it slowly before nodding and lighting it ablaze using his cigarette lighter. With that done he turned slightly, giving a brief twitch as he watched his Otouto walk up the stairs moronically, flailing about as he did so. Reaching up to palm his face Mikoto opted to ignore the boy for now, instead focusing on the sound of a little girls screams about her dad. Raising an eyebrow he looked towards the door, seeing his young cousin Yukiko run through the door quickly and onto Noctis's desk. Giving a bemused smile the red-head crossed his arms over his chest, watching the anbu fret about attempting to stop the girl only to hold back for fear of harming her. When Noctis himself walked through the door Mikoto allowed a lazy smile to stretch over his lips before he walked over to the desk, kneeling down slightly to be eye-to-eye with the girl. "Hello little one..I am Mikoto Suoh..why are you causing such havoc hm?" His usually deep and lazy sounding voice held a soft, warm undertone to it as he spoke to the little girl, a light smile on his lips.

Yukiko stamped her fathers papers and looked up to see her father come in the room. He put his hand over his face but she knew he could still see her through her fingers. Putting down her bunny stamp she held her cheery smile. "Hai Dah-d----" She had been interrupted by a man coming up and approaching her. Looking at him he resembled Noctis and herself except for the red hair. Climbing over the big desk she sat up looking him dead in the eyes. Stareeeee~ She held her stare for as long as she could before giggling. "Hewo Mi--. . .. Mii. .ko. . koito. . .Suiiioh." Yukiko began to mumble, not being able to say the mans name right. Uh, oh~ think fast Yukiko! Her face had a light bulb moment, her smile growing larger. "I'll call you Mii-kun~" Giggling she looked over to her father, giving him the most innocent smile and wave. "Dah-dee~ I'm hungiii." The little girl stated.

Keiko clenched her fists as she neared the Hokage's office. She was rarely nervous, but then, she had never met the Hokage. She was always hanging out in the shadows. But as a Nara that wasn't a surprise. She needed her ninja head band and permission to train from the Hokage. She had never heard of him denying this to any ninja, but there was always room for a first. With any luck, she wouldn't be held up. Her mom's concerned face flickered in her mind's eye. Why would she be so worried? Could it be that Keiko would be stuck as an academy student? No. No, she couldn't let that happen. The Hokage just had to let her train. Yet, she had no teacher.
Keiko mentally slapped herself. She was being so negative and scared. It was unlike her. It wasn't a change for the best. She had no room for errors, and being scared was a big one. Keiko knocked on the Hokage's door after stopping for a second to hear voices. She recited the Hokage's name in her head to ensure she wouldn't forget or mispronounce it. "H-hokage, may I come inside?" She almost used his name, but had decided against it. It wasn't proper to refer to such a high power by their first name. At least without permission. Closing her eyes and waiting for an answer, her mind drifted off to the different teachers that could be her's. Would she choose one or would the Hokage? Growing up was harder than she thought. Too many choices to make. Too many mistakes to be made.

Eclipse walked up the hall leading to the Hokage's room, in her right hand she was grasping a blood stained headband, the village origin unknown. She wore her ANBU mask of the dog. Pausing she toke it off and it dispersed. Looking up to her rather ginormous companion she chuckled. "Oh Steel, you need to stop growing. You can barely fit in the hallway now!" The wolf shook off her comment, she slid the head band into a pocket within her kimono. As she came up on her husbands door she saw a little girl waiting outside. She stopped and looked at her. Just by looking at her with her blood-red eyes she cracked a demonic smile. "You must be a freshling from the Academy am I right? Don't get the jitters. The Hokage doesn't bite. Much." Her tone spoke with no hints of emotion, her voice wasn't sweet and endearing, nor was it threatening in a hostile way.
"Touch her and I rip out your throat!"
Steel lay down in the hall, taking up all the floor space of the wide wing as he would wait for Eclipse to finish her work with Noctis. Seeing his partner talk to the new kuniochi he shook his head. "Eclipse don't psyche the kid out." The large wolf bellowed. His icy gaze shifting to the girl he could smell her whole life story from here. Same scent as Shika. Nara."What's your name?"

Noctis noticed Mikoto stop and talk to Yukiko. Noctis watched Yukiko try to hide herself very badly. It was difficult to maintain his serious composure looking at her. She seemed to have trouble pronouncing Mikoto's name. She then turned and looked at him stating that she was hungry."Note to self, fire the nanny."he thought as he walked over to Yukiko and lifted her up off the seat and unto his shoudler he then noticed the new genin in the room."Excuse the mess and my daughter, no doubt you are a new genin, what might your name be?" He asked this only because the boy was wearing a mask and he couldn't see his face.Though it was quite rude to wear such a thing where noone knows who you are makes thing difficult. Hearing a faint voice over by his door way alongside the loud footsteps of who could only be steel he realized he had more guests and one of them was his wife."Come in."
Melious would notice that a girl was speaking to him. He would tilt his head as she spoke, taking in every word that came out of her mouth and then would realize that this was the Hokage's daughter. Though she could not see his face, he was smiling a devilish grin underneath his mask. He never would have guessed the Hokage had time for a family. He always believed that they lived alone, stuck in this boring place doing paper work and letting their skills waste away into nothing. It was funny to see that his assessment was wrong. She would take his hands and pull him into the Hokage's office. Mel would see him sitting there and then listen to him as he spoke. Mel would again tilt his head as he would listen. He asked his name? Shouldn't the Hokage know everyone in the village? Why was he asking his name? Melious would then remember that he had his mask on. He would chuckle to himself as he would remove it. He would smile and then begin to speak in a happy tone, "Sorry for the mask. Sometimes I forget I'm wearing it. My name is...well...rather long but to be formal it's Melious Totoro Gi Sakigami Kurama. Call me Mel." He would then continue on by saying, "You were correct in your previous assumption. I am the new genin and I am eager to get down to training and start some missions." He would stand up straight with his mask in his left hand and a smile on his face awaiting the Hokage's next words.

Keiko watched as a huge dog-wolf thing came down the hallway. Keiko smiled, since animals were her cup of tea. Always loyal to their owners. A lady followed the animal, making a comment on its size. She made her way to Keiko and spoke. "Good. I'd taste pretty bad anyways," Keiko commented. But she couldn't help but wonder about that last sentence. Did she really mean it? The girl hadn't had a humorous tone. Would the Hokage really bite?
Keiko was lost in her thoughts until she heard the Hokage talking. It took her a few seconds to stop listening in on his conversation, but it wasn't long after that he called for her to come in. She eased on in, swallowing her nervousness as she saw how normal the Hokage was. Even though she had never seen him, she already felt like he was an old friend. The calm tone in the room settled her anxiety as she waited for permission to either speak or come forward for instructions.

The small boy walked into the main Office room, not the office itself, but the waiting room. He was picking his nose and covered in dirt from his little trick at the gates. The Shinobi that had gone up to get him off the gate, was no where to be seen...
It seemed he didn't care for his surroundings as he scanned them with half mooned eyes and no enthusiasm. Kaede was a shinobi, he had been for eight months and had done three B-rank missions, mostly squad based and rather simple in their skill level. All three were escort's of equipment and people that were important, that had fears of being ambushed, however, nothing that dark happened.
Kaede, sighed and pulled the small lollipop out of his mouth and licked his lips, then with a poof of smoke, Kaede looked his regular age. He'd been using the transformation jutsu for a while, trying to hone his skill further and grow in strength; but mostly he was in it so he was a face that couldn't be blamed for his pranks. Kaede looked over seeing two shinobi enter the office to see the "Fire Shadow" Hokage, Kaede missed the boat, he sighed and silently sat down. Kaede was a very quiet person, and would rarely talk to some he didn't know, nor was his first impression good. He'd usually start of with something that ticked someone else... BUT, if you got past it, he could be an incredible friend or teammate.

XXXXXKeeping the warm smile on his face Mikoto reached out and gently ruffled Yukiko's hair, amused at the way she acted when trying to speak his name. The nickname was rather adorable, so he didn't say anything about it, just smirk and chuckle in response to her. When more genin started to file into the office he raised an eyebrow, backing away from the desk before leaning back against the doorframe, listening silently to the various people speak and move about in the room. It was good to know so many new genin had graduated, but it was also rather annoying to think of the possibility that he might be forced to take a squad of genin..despite joining the Anbu he knew that there were times when a person had to balance both their anbu duties and their Jounin sensei duties simultaneously, and while he knew he could handle it..it wasn't really his thing to actively teach someone. Shaking his head the male reached into his shinobi pouch on his hip, retrieving a simple pure white mask. Fitting it on his face he gave a bow towards Noctis before backing his way out of the door. Seeing Eclipse, Noctis's wife he gave a bow before speaking quietly. "Greetings Eclipse...Steel, I'd love to stay and catch up..but I'm afraid I have a mission to attend to." Giving an unseen smile behind his mask he dissapeared in a burst of speed, heading down and out of the office towards the gates. [Exit]

Yukiko giggled as her father picked her up and placed her on his shoulder. To keep herself balanced she wrapped her little arms around the top of his head, sitting still as she watched all unfold before her. As Mii-kun left she waved to him and looked at the first man she had encountered at the office doors. ". . . . I'll call you. . . . . Ummm. . . . Toto~" Smiling brightly she giggled and nuzzled into the side of Noctis' head, kicking her legs lightly. Making nicknames is fun! As Mii-kun left Yukiko saw him talk to someone at the door, the long black hair flowing in the breeze and the rumble of a large wolf's breathing, The little girl almost fell off of her fathers shoulder with excitement. "MOM-EH'S BACK FRWOM HER MISSION! DADDY LWOOK! MOMMY!" Wiggling herself widely she climbed over Noctis' head to sit on his other shoulder closer to the door flailing her arms frantically. "HAIIII MOM-EH! HAIIIIII STWEAL!"

Eclipse smiled slightly at Mikoto as he passed. The fellow ANBU heading out for his other duties. Turning she stuck her foot out to hold the door open. Seeing her daughter climb of the big tough Hokage's face just to wave at her. Laughing with her hands on her waist she entered, gesturing with her shoulder for the new genin to follow her in. "Yukiko, you know better than to wander around. . . ." The Jonin paused, looking for her little Inuzuka. "Weres Kisuke?" Going back to Noctis she raised an eyebrow at the absence of their son. "Favoritism much while I'm away Noctis? You don't bother to bring Kisuke along for the ride? I'm sure Fang's office trained by now." Though her tone was cold with the man, he knew her well enough to when she was simply teasing him. She knew that Kisuke probably was being a good kid staying at home with the nanny. But, it seems no matter how many nannies they hired Yukiko always found her way off the property.
"Touch her and I rip out your throat!"
Steel perked his head up as much as he could in the hall and chuckled hearing Yukiko's voice from the office. "Looks like Noctis has had his hands full."

Noctis nodded at the genin accepting his apology for the mask."I see, well Mel I congratulate you on making it this far." Noctis then reached into a satchel which only seemed a foot or two deep but his arm seemed to go in far deeper then that as he pulled a headband out and handed it to him."Train hard to protect Konoha and its people."after handing him the head been he then informed him that scrolls can be located int he Academy and Dojo and all missions could be taken from the Mission board outside his office (it has its own thread). Noctis then turned to look at the other new genin who seemed to be walking in. Their profiles were on his desk so he knew who they were unless they wore masks like Mel, but he was the first to do that."Hello and Welcome to my office. What can I do for you today?"He asked the young girl. Mikoto left to go on his mission which was good. They needed that info as soon as possible. Then Yukiko was crawling all over him to say hi to Eclipse."Yes, Yukiko I see mommy." He watched as Eclipse walked in wondering where her son was."It seems we need to find a better nanny, Yukiko snuck out again, Kisuke's probably talking a nap."

Keiko watched in awe as the Hokage handed a masked kid a headband. They looked so much cooler in person! She couldn't wait to get her's. And she wouldn't wait long. She walked to the Hokage as he welcomed her in. "I was told to come here for instructions," she spoke as loud as she could without being disrespected. She was sure it sounded like a whisper.

Noctis nodded at the young girl."I see, well Keiko Nara here is your headband."He had read her name earlier form the profiles of the new genin he received. he said handing the headband to her."Scrolls can be found in the Academy and Dojo, Missions can be obtained from the mission board outside my office." After explaining everything he cleared his throat."You are both now Shinobi of Konohagakure, Work and train hard remember that when you protect something you care about that is when you are the strongest."He said also talking to Mel."At the moment I don't have any teachers for you, but the chunnin exams are around the corner, you two should focus on your own training for the time being if you wish to participate though if you think you should wait you may do that as well."

Keiko turned as she clenched her headband, leaving the room with a fake smile to hide her worry. [exit]
