"Big difference!", Danny frowned before getting out of the carriage and holding out his hand for Ruby. It seems they had reached their destination fairly fast. He led her along and when they were questioned, Danny simply presented the letter of invitation and the castle employees unloaded the sunflower design from the back of the carriage to be carried to the exhibit area of all the new designs.

"Right." Ruby replied, taking his hand and walking along side him towards the castle. Woah... It's huge! So... shall we go in?"

"I guess so", Danny said and led her inside. Immediately, the music filled the air as ladies and gents twirled and danced or talked simply at the sides. Some inventions were also featured. They were just in time as the exhibit and presentations were happening today.
As the two got in, Gacamo unveiled his masterpiece - a large ship-mounted gun that fired in all directions. It fired faster, bigger bullets than the guns of the current age. Reload was no problem, he displayed and even demonstrated how to reload it continuously so that it wouldn't need a break in between shots (which were about one per second).

Ruby looked around with awe at the scenery. She always dreamed of something like this, but she never thought she would actually be a part of it. She walked with Danny at the beautiful surroundings and the inventions on display.
((I'm tempted to post something now, but I kind of want to wait for Eternal to post with Victor. What do you guys think? ))

A guard informed Danny that since he had decided to attend this year, he would be the eighth to present at the exhibit and asked for him to come so he knew what to do when he got up there. He frowned and asked to wait until he could finish at least one dance, to which the soldier approved. "Shall we then?", he asked Ruby gently.
Gacamo ended his presentation with a standing applause and a great uproar from the crowd a the great new improvements.

((... it consists of a long post where Hector comes in informal and wearing half of the enemy uniform he stole, and the prince throws a fit while Hector tells all of the nobles about the wild adventure he just got back from. So then the prince scolds Hector for not being formal, and tells him as punishment... well, I don't want to spoil it. You'll just have to wait to see what the prince does. xd ))

Venge held Wn closely oblivious to everyone around them, he was in a complete state of euphoria. He gently pulled away from her, suddenly his stomach grumbled, Venge turned away slightly embarrassed.

Hector reluctantly arrived at the capital. As much as she wanted to go back home, she knew she had to keep an eye on John and punish Victor. She stampeded through the royal harbor and up the steps into the palace, where people were dressed in beautiful formal attire.
"M-my goodness! It's Lord Thunderbird!"
"Lord Thunderbird? But didn't they just say he was kidnapped by spies just hours ago?"
Immediately, the room was filled with roars of speculation and stares at his strange attire of a white shirt, over her corset and pants of an enemy soldier. The music stopped before the dance could start, and even more people turned towards Hector.
"Sorry sorry! I apologies for the informal and inappropriate wear. It's proof that our political neighbors in Hannon are, indeed, easily fooled. Or at least the ones over there now. I'm on my way to change, and I had no choice but to pass through here to my room." Hector said, cheerfully towards the palace guests.
"I-is that Lord Thunderbird?" Ruby whispered to Danny. "I've only heard rumors about him, but he's not at all like I imagined.
"Hector!" "Hector!" Several single and beautiful young noble ladies said rushing up to him.
"L-ladies, please! I'll dance with you all later, but my appearance is distasteful for ones so flattering as yourselves.
"I don't care!" "What happened?" "We thought we lost our beloved Hector!" They started spouting off dreamily.
"Alright, alright! Really quick, I'll tell you what happened." Hector said, standing on the stage where the musicians were. He started telling of his wild but brief adventure as the nobles all looked with wonder and disbelief. "The proof is in this... really nasty uniform."
"Yes..." Lance said. "It is quite distasteful. What the hell are you thinking, coming in to the military ball dressed like that. Your a soldier."
"Hello, your highness." Hector said with a bow. "Obviously, you just missed my rather long tale. So, if you'll pardon me, your highness, I'll go change."
"Now wait a second, I think a punishment is in order." the prince replied. "You know better."
"Of course I know better. That's why I'm trying to change." Hector told him.
"Well, then... as punishment, you must wear... appropriate clothing." Lance smiled.
"Ok." Hector muttered, raising an eyebrow.
"For a woman." Lance smiled.
"... what?" Hector asked.

Cedric stood behind the locked gate, up ahead was the palace like mansion, surrounded with the most beautiful shrubbery, it was as if nothing had changed. Cedric took another step forward but was halted by a door man.
"I'm sorry Sir, but this is private property"
"yes I know" Cedric lifted his coat sleeve, he showed his arm to the man, there on the center of his forearm was a circle with a line going across, it was branded on to him.
"you...you are a Menos?" the man said in disbelief, but he didn't wait for an answer or make any other questions, he hurriedly opened the gate for Cedric
Cedric entered the estate, walking assed the door man who was hanging his head, afraid to make eye contact.
Cedric made his way to the door, his steps getting slower and slower, the anxiety was making him freeze. He placed his palm on the door and pushed it open. The mansion was filled with a walnut fragrance, all the furniture was adorned with strange trinckets, a habit his mother never got over.
As Cedric scanned the area he got a strong feeling of nostalgia, both good and bad... A laughter echoed through the house, Cedric walked down the hallway, the laughter getting louder and louder. Cedric turned the corner and, In the room were three people, two of which he identified immediateley. "mom, dad?"

"You heard me." The prince stated. "And I think it's a rather appropriate punishment."
"Um... Your highness." Hector started, still a little confused.
"What is it? Is your pride hurt?" Lance asked with interest.
"I don't think I have a dress." Hector replied.
"Oh..." Lance replied, feeling somewhat like an idiot. "Well... uh... say, any of you beautiful ladies have something our dear Lord Thunderbird can wear?" He said putting on his best flirtatious face while rallying up all the young noble girls.
Hector scratched the back of her head, not really knowing how she feels about this. The noble girls quickly then began to drag the young lord off to go get 'dolled up'.

"Perhaps we caught him at a bad time", Danny said just having gently placed a hand on Ruby's waist. They were just about to dance when the interruption made itself known. A palace guard tapped Danny on the shoulder, calling for him again. He sighed, not wishing to leave Ruby so early and not knowing anyone in the crowd. "Perhaps later would be a better time", he said, nodding goodbye for a little while and following the soldier. It seems he would be next in line to the one waiting before him.
"Come on then", Win said, leading Venge to the restaurant she saw earlier. After taking a seat and being handed the menu, she said dreamily, "It sure is beautiful here in Ander, no? Almost as beautiful as Hannon."

"B-but..." Ruby stuttered as Danny left. She looked around at the room and saw as the group of girls carried Hector off after the princes announcement. Not knowing what else to do, she headed over to go look at the machines and talk to Danny.
