I'm from Maryland, in the US. It seems both of our countries have archaic and antiquated immigration systems. It's really such a bother.

I think I'll pass on the beer and porn buddies situation. Aside from it sounding bad, there's also two very important issues that would prevent such a thing:

1. I don't drink.
2. Spouse doesn't want me looking at porn.

I also never really cared for beer. The other weekend I was actually in a situation in which my father-in-law insisted I taste this "really great beer", and I absolutely hated it. His German friend loved it though so I guess it really was good... I just don't have a taste for it.
