Totally calm until she had reached the door, her expression took a total turn for the worst as she stood before the door. Sucking in a sharp breath she slipped into her usual façade, one that suited her purpose and reached for the door handle, pushing it open with one great shove. "Okay! It's about time you gave me something better to do other than train, otherwise I am going to cause my own set of problems!" Jae announced, her voice loud and her impish grin as devious as ever. Noting that no one was immediately present she paused, blinking her confusion. Oh? Where has he escaped to now. Coaxing her head to one side she looked around the empty room. Scrunching up her nose she let out a small 'huff'. "Seriously. This isn't surprising." Jae remained where she was, debating what to do. Shouldn't someone be around at least, to call the shots. This wasn't very comforting to consider, Noctis leaving the village.

Out of the side of the room in the darkest corner a voice would be heard."The Hokage is not currently in at the moment." Not telling her where he was or what he was actually doing. Doubt she would like the fact that that he was on a sort of vacation at the chunnin exams."He left a Jounin by the name of Ivilice Takamatsu in charge while he is away, but she is currently training a student. How may I assist you?" This man she would remember him, he was the Anbu captain that was seemingly never around but at the same time he was everywhere. His light blue anbu mask the same as ever.

The presence in the corner of the room caused her azure gaze to flicker over to it. Crossing her arms she listened quietly. Same old, same old. Either way, she didn't care. She just wanted a decent mission."Right. Well I am here for a mission for two. Second participant is a Chunnin." Jae said, her gaze level as she addressed the shadow of a person. This was why Jae had preferred not to join ANBU ranks. She was good at lying to people, infiltrating, fighting but she was not good at being bound by shadows. Her spirit was much too free for that. The feather that hung on the simple chain around her wrist was testament to that. She belonged to the bird clan now, a symbol of her freedom. She waited, keeping her gaze lit upon his figure.

Finally looking away, she sighed. This was taking up more time than she cared to waste. If the Hokage was busy elsewhere then she too would show the same type of courtesy. Ranks meant nothing to Jae. This concept was not new and she showed the same courtesy that others displayed to her. Making a clone of herself she gripped her doubles shoulder, holding up the thumbs up sign. The clone smiled patiently while Jae turned to look at the Anbu over her shoulder. ."Whenever you are ready, she will be here to let me know..." With that Jae trotted off, heading out to train while she waited for this mission, whatever it was.

The anbu casually looked through a booklet seeing what he could offer. It seemed that someone was impatient. He found something that needed to be done at the moment."I realize you have just returned from the Chunnin exams, but we need someone to return and gather our genin and bring them back. We had reports of disturbances within Gimangakure and wouldn't want anything to happen the them."

Koan couldnt help but allow a small smile to crack her normally expressionless face as she climbed the stairs to the hokages office. She had done so many times as she often baby sat for him when she wasnt training or studying at the academy. Her mind was troubled far beyond what a normal eight year olds should have been. With her dad once again missing and her little sister as well she had devoted herself to her training while being taken care of by the clan as she still held the title of princess being the daughter of the clans leader. She pushed open the door without knocking, something few others would ever do, and nodded quickly to Noctis and said," Lord Hokage. Good morning, how are the twins ?" For only being eight she was still excessively formal and proper. A backlash from all the years of having to be perfect.

Noctis sat in his chair, doing paperwork like always, yet he couldn't get the slightly pain out of his head. And he had taken medicine to stop his other symptoms. But noone even knew about it, he made sure it was a closely held secret. The Hokage getting sick wasn't something that everyone should know. Headaches could be chalked to stress luckily so nothing could be derived from seeing his message his temples. He could hear footsteps, today was one of his better days. He straigtened himself out and awaited over entered. He smiled seeing the girl entered. Koan, the daughter of Kein who vanished he always did wonder where Kein left to. He also wondered if he had forgotten the deal they made. Nevertheless he would keep his part secure his daughters safety as citizens of Konoha."Koan, good morning it's nice to see you. The twins are great, they are growing up fast." He pushed some papers to the side and focused in on her. She was trying to join the ranks of shinobi at such a young age, he wondered if Kein wanted this, he'd probably be proud she has such power at a young age."How may I help you?"

For all her training she couldnt help but relax a bit around the hokage. He knew her as both Koan the Uchiha princess but also as just Koan, friend of his children. Her shoulders relaxed and her face softened a bit as she said," Yesterday was my graduation from the academy. I would like to have seen my dad there but once again as always hes nowhere to be found.." She couldnt help but frown a bit as well as feel a small tinge of anger rising up at the thought of her father. Granted she loved him but then again she still resented him for his absence, that and much much more. Though she quickly brushed her feelings aside and regained her perfect self control once more.

He pulled a headband out of a satchel that was passed down to him by the last Hokage. He then walked over to Koan standing in front of her with the headband in his hands"From this day forward you are a Shinobi of Konoha, do you swear this solemn oath to protect this village and its people?"He held the out towards her so she could take it.

Some how she doubted the hokages words though they were well received none the less. She knelt before him rather gracefully as she took the headband wrapping it around her neck. She nodded and said," I do so solemnly swear." Once she was satisfied with the position of her headband she stood slowly as her hair fell around her face hiding it from view. After a second she brushed her hair from her face revealing a very familiar kien-esk face to the hokage as she spoke," Today I give my father and the world something to fear. If you will excuse me, my training awaits." With that she gave a very formal bow before turning and quickly leaving the office heading towards the academy.

The wonder of returning to the village brought a sense of happiness to the man as he strode through the fields leading up to the villages great gate, making sure at all times to allow himself to be seen by the guards who would have been assigned their duty. A wide brimmed straw hat and a set of swords were cleanly visible upon his body, as was the Konohagakure Flak Jacket he carried, wrapped around a sack of belongings tied into a shoulder sack. He waved one hand into the air to signal up to the guard directly in the gate itself.

Drawing ever nearer he saw a few of the guards draw forward to inspect the newcomer. With the gates being closed and the sudden security it was no small guess that there was something greater going on in Konoha than there had been at the time of his departure.

"I am Masahiro Hatake, Jounin of the Village Hidden in the Leaves. I have my Hitai-ate is beneath the brim of my hat and here is my paperwork." He said, gesturing the sack of belongings forward, the front pocket of his vest already opened for them.

"I came to speak to Lord Hokage." The man said before accepting the escort through town.

The sights he saw, how the skyline had changed, and the reminiscent visage of the Kage upon the rockface reminded him of the place he had always called home. Of the students he trained with, of the pair he once trained. Though too quick would the remembrance be over, as he arrived before the Hokage and brushed his way inside of the office, shouldering off a guard who attempted to take his weaponry.

"Hokage. I take it a lot has changed in just over 3 years?" He tried to play off cooly as he gave a familiar bow to Noctis.

Then a familiar yet strange man entered his office. He called him Hokage and that when he recognized him."Ah, Masahiro! I was beginning to worry about you." The Hokage retook his seat as standing had given him a headache."You don't know the half of it, We took in a rouge sannin, I had to go to Kiri to fetch him they weren't very nice." He said sarcastically."Then some crazy cultists tried turning everyone it zombie monster things. Giving him a small summary of what had been going on he looked at some papers at his desk and signed a few off.

"That entirely explains the heavy presence at the gates though, why only our ilk can pass them 'somewhat' freely. What of the children though, if we've hosted a Rogue then that means we're twice as hard at hunting him, whose still on Academic Duties?" The man further inquired, rolling his shoulders back as his body went from rigid to a more relaxed position.

Noctis listened to what he asked about hunting him and if they were hard pressed at it."At the moment, Konoha is not pursuing Kein it would be a waste of our effort." He looked through some papers then at Masa."We have the same number of people on academy, though we could use some extra teachers for the genin."
