"And here I was worried we'd have to give that sort of thing up." Van said with a flirty smirk of his own. "Once the kids are asleep, I don't see why we can't make use of said bed." he said slipping his arms around her waist.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Give it up? Us? What a silly notion..." Mala said, chuckeling before she continued on. "Well, they're both in their room right now. If they're not asleep now, they will be before long."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Speaking of the kids, did they say anything about our little field trip today? Kai seemed especially bummed out that you don't get along with Marianne." Van said.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Not yet. They were mostly concerned about who that ugly stranger was." After a moment Mala then noted with obvious distain, "Though he'll probably try to guilt trip me about it later."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"As he should." Van said with a smile as he kissed Mala on the forehead before going to peek his head into the kids' rooms. "Yep, they're both sound asleep now." he said with a warm smile.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Adorable, aren't they?" Mala asked softly, peeking in after him with a gentle look of joy lingering on her face.

"I'm amazed Kai can look so peaceful, considering how energetic he usually is. I'm almost amazed he sleeps at all sometimes." Van said with a soft chuckle as he quietly went in and pulled the covers over Kai, who had been sprawled out on his bed with the blankets all over the place.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"It almost feels foreign, doesn't it? Kai being all peaceful and quiet like this is like a signal that the world might be coming to an end." Mala joked, offering Kai a light kiss on the forhead - doubting it'd wake him so easilly.

You couldn't help but get warm fuzzies at the sight. Pale moonlight leaking into the children's room as they slept soundly...But then as parents, Van and Mala really got to see it whenever they wanted, at least until the kids grew up. "You know, on second thought, I think I can actually skip the sex, just for tonight." he said softly as he put an arm around Mala's shoulders. "Consider me overcome by the warm fuzzies of parenthood."

 

[M3Gnificent]

Mala chuckled softly, understanding how Van felt. "That's fine. We can save it for another time, like tomorrow night or possibly earlier in the morning."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I love you, you know that?" Van said softly with a smile as he rested his head against hers while they returned to their own room for the night.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I know. I love you too." Mala murmured in reply, her smile matching his.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

((Obvious lovey-dovey-cuddle timeskip aside, there must be something we can do with Atius, Milly, Jaquel and Ariae...any one of our many side chars. Because when the block becomes more frequent, it's usually a bad sign for the rp. ;-; ))

{As I suggested earlier, I could have Milly dragged off to Hell to become some lower level demon lord/lady or something. Of course, this wouldn't make her evil, just leaning a tad bit more towards being paranoid and perhaps insane.

Or, if something more docile and less combatty is what we're looking for, Ariae can decide that she wants another kid - and start pestering Jaquel about it while trying to get into his pants every five minutes - which could cause some general awkwardness and discomfort for the household. Especially considering that I find it difficult to believe that she would be 100% like she once was after all that's happened.

I don't know what to do with Atius. I never liked him as a character much, to be honest. XD}

((But Atius is practically like a running gag now! XD He shows up, gets pissy at Van, they have some witty banter, gets punched, and then runs away with his tail between his legs! XD

And I think I'm fine with anything at this point. I have no idea anymore. I could just be loopy and brain dead from needing sleep. XD ))
