Kyo held his mouth tightly as some blood was seen going down his chin and on his hands. So much pain, he couldn't speak but grabbed her hand and set it on his open wound to tell her that much then released her wrist to hold his mouth again in pain. Shi whined.

Kein moved his hands from the one seal he was holding into another and instantly the storm ceased and contained itself within him. He could still feel it as he focused on the Tomoe seals in his eyes. They had to be the seals the scroll and Bast referred to. In an instant he felt a wave of pain wash over his eyes and head as two trickles of blood ran down his face. He did not stop he would not stop he had to complete this. It was the last thing his ancestors left him.

Bast scribbled down a note on the effects of overexposing body systems to Chakra, left the word "Void" at the end of the note, and then immediately turned back to the page that she originally had open. She wrote down several paragraphs about the differences between using written seals and simply using the body as a seal, and also about the volatile nature of Chakra.

"Good, you're on the right track," she said, no longer having to shout over the storm of Chakra. "Let the eye direct you for a moment; if you push too hard on a seal, nothing will happen."

Kein twitched from the pain in his eyes but kept them open as his chakra flooded through them. He stopped forcing the chakra into his eyes as he let nature handle the details. Once he did he could feel it. The power of his bloodline. The power of his ancestors. It was here at the heart of it all. The Tomoe seals they were the key to the jutsu. He understood why it was all over the top of the scroll now. He was ripped from his thoughts as his chakra did something he did not expect. It began to fill every part of his body he felt as if he would explode if he did not release the chakra.

Bast jotted down a few short notes about the progression of the training. This was proving to be much more useful than she had previously imagined, and was very educational. She hardly ever stopped to observe the process of learning techniques when she wasn't, herself, learning something, so seeing the process from a different angle was fascinating.

"You've established contact with the seal, now just feed it power," she called over, in case the man might not be able to hear as well through the Chakra veil. "It looks like this forms in stages, so there may be a few forms that you could use. Since Susano'o was humanoid in the artwork, try to head in that direction."

Kyo could barely move his body as Nora helped him up. Shi barked for which way she should go to the hospital. A few times he let out shiveling cries of pain but that was all.

Kein took a deep breath as everything seemed to fall silent. In that instant he fed all of the chakra he could summon into his sharingan as all of the chakra he built up exploded around him in a massive green storm. Around him a single spinal disk. From that single disk formed a second and a third until a full spine had formed. From that spine a ribcage sprang out and enveloped him. At the top of the spine a skull formed. A blazing set of bright yellow eyes glared from the skull.

Bast jotted down a couple of notes, and then put her pen down. From here onward, it was time to test her hypotheses. She stifled another yawn and sat up with her back as straight as possible, and then leaned forward slightly.

"Good, now put all of that excess Chakra toward stabilizing the bones!" she called over the storm, glad that she had erected a shelter for herself. "After that, feed the seal Chakra slowly!"

She made a hand seal and observed the man's Chakra for a few seconds before breaking the seal and beginning to act naturally again. The man's energy was volatile, but was very tame as far as actual volatility went. It was struggling to conform to the seal, it seemed, but was bursting out at the seams.

The chakra he had already released and fed into the seal stayed around him and the ephemeral humanoid. Using the chakra still within his body he closed his eyes and extended his arms out to his sides. As he did so the humanoid's arms sprang from the collarbone and spine of the creature. Try as he might he could not move his arms. He was now linked with the creature. It was part of him.

They had reached the meat of what Bast wanted to know, so she immediately began writing furiously in her notebook. She continued writing even as the arms ceased forming, and didn't pause when the man seemed incapable of movement.

"Try to make it move without moving yourself!" she called out to the man. "Imagine it doing what you want it to do!"

Suddenly, the scratchings of her pen stopped and she turned the page. Her pen hung poised over the fresh leaf of paper, ready to be used, but waiting.

Kein relaxed and stopped trying to force the movement instead he relaxed and went with his gut. He was the champion of the Uchiha if this jutsu could come easy for anyone it would be him. A flash of movement pulled him from his thoughts. A bulge formed at the joints of the creature. From those bulges hundreds of fibers and muscles sprang forth giving the creature massive and muscle. The fibers coated the face blotting out the eyes leaving them black holes.

This was interesting. He hadn't moved the creature, but he had proven that it followed a humanoid pattern of growth; this thought spurred another, which piqued the woman's interest even more. In her notebook, she wrote: Evolution? Variability research needed.

"You're on the right track; head toward the final product, but don't strain yourself too much!" she called out, knowing full well that he would anyways. Training required strain, after all, but even so, she took a moment to locate medical facilities on her tourist map of the Village.

Kein slowly added more fuel to the chakra storm when nothing happened. For a second the thought that this was the end. That he would not be able to complete the jutsu. Just as he was about to stop the chakra storm it solidified and a demonic armor [think sasuke's but dark emerald green] formed over it. Just has the armor clamped down on the face Kein began laughing. It was not normal laughter but laughter that he had this kind of power at his disposal. An evil ambition filled laughter. He would use this jutsu to punish those who stood against him all without exception. He was grateful to his ancestors for this gift. He rolled his wrist and the creature did the same. As it did a burst of flame solidified from a gourd on its forearm. On its other arm a massive shield formed.

Bast jotted down several notes at the demonstration of synchronized movements between Kein and the Susano'o embodiment. The laughter was worrying; she would have to notify the Raikage of this strange development, but also felt that it was only a natural side-effect of suddenly coming in to power. This time, she did not make any verbal comments, not wanting to spoil the data treasure trove. She would have to look in to the possible detrimental effects of controlling things remarkably more powerful than the original body, just to be certain that the mental breakdown that Kein was having was as worrying as it seemed.
