A misty, light was appearing in an empty clearing staged in the Digital-World. With every passing second, the light grew in size until it was to bright to gaze at with the naked eye. Then, as quick as it came it was gone. Leaving nothing except for two shapes who hadn't been there before. The first stood up and began to brush dirt off her already stained clothes. She twisted the wrist she had landed on and grunted in pain as she realized it was bruised.

We really need a softer landing space. Here and at home. she thought to herself, I'm tired of getting injured before the fun even starts.

Although this was only her second time in the Digital-World, the girl already viewed it as a home away from home. As she stood there lost in thoughts, the second shape began to move. This shape was smaller and crawled on four legs, meaning that he had to look up high to see his partner's thoughtful face.

"Jordyn?" the Digimon ventured, "Jordyn, what's on your mind?"

Jordyn looked down at her new friend and smiled softly. She bent down and tucked a strand of dirty blonde hair behind her ear.

"Nothing you need to burden yourself with Armadillomon," Jordyn smiled as she said her partner's name, "Now, let's see if there's anything worth checking out. Or anyone."

With an unreadable expression on her face, Jordyn stood up and scanned the horizon with hazel eyes.
