Eric looked back at her blushing. "Y-yeah......im......ok." he said softly leaning in closer to Lena. He lifted her chin and kissed her.

Lena began blushing. She pulled away and looked into his eyes still holding his face. She smiled as she looked at him.

Eric couldnt believe what he had just done but hadnt regreted it one bit. He smiled back at her and pulled her close, holding her.

Lena leaned on him with her head against his chest. She could hear his heart beating. She never knew why but she like the sound of a heart beating it was calming to her.

Eric gazed up at the moon as Lena leaned on his chest lovingly. All was quiet and nice until a small shreik could be heard from the town.

Eric glanced over his shoulder at the village and so did the carraige man. "I dont know....." he replied quietly. "I dont know about ya'll but i think we need to get somewhere safe!" said the carraige man. Eric nodded and the horses trodded off to where the man lead them.

Lena held on to Eric and closed her eyes. She didn't want to look around. She tried to think about other things but knowing the Horseman was out there didnt help.

For now they rested in a small, warm house that belonged to the carraige man. Eric held Jena close, making sure to keep her with him. Horrid thoughts raced through his mind, thinking of himself in that persons shoes. He shivered at the thought and hugged Jena tighter. He watched through the window until the thought of his little sister crossed his mind suddenly. "My....my sister...MY SISTER! I need to see if she is ok!" he panicked and the man caught him by the arm before he could make it out the door. "Dont go out there, son!" he warned.

"Eric... he's right... you could get killed before you even get there." she said with a scared tone. Panic filled her eyes. She was worried about her dad being alone too.

"I dont care what the hell my life means! i need to see if my little sister is ok!" he said furiously but when he looked back at Jena he couldnt help but soften up to her scared eyes. "Yeah but you need to be alive to see if she is ok smart one." said the man.

Tears were brought to Lena's eyes. She never like seeing people like that. She couldn't say anything. She was paralyzed with fear that the Horseman was coming.

What do i do? What do i do? What do i do? ran through his mind. He didnt know whether to stay with Lena or to check on his sister. He couldnt leave Lena but he couldnt let something happen to his sister, or he would regret it painfully. Eric stood frozen at the door, thinkning of what to do.
