He sneered at his brother and turned on his heels and strode back to the common room.

He rolled his eyes again and glanced and Riley, gripping her hand a little.

After the Grand Staircase came the Fifth Floor Corridor as Aiko led the first years to their common room. She led them to a spiral staircase leading to Ravenclaw Tower. She stopped outside the door to the common room. "Our common room is guarded by a riddle, while some rooms are guarded by passwords. Our riddle is this: Which comes first, the phoenix or the flame?"

Chance followed the girl to the supposed door to the Ravenclaw common room. The spiral staircase was quite the sight, but had too many stairs in his opinion. When Akio Sato told them of the riddle, he pondered for a moment, before snickering. "That's a trick question. There is no 'first'. In other words, a circle has no beginning." he said, looking up at the Head Girl. He had always loved a good riddle, and this one was similar to one that had puzzled many people in past years. The chicken and the egg question. Very similar, in this instance.

Sylvia stopped with the rest of the students. At the mention of the riddle her first thought was, 'Neither they're one and the same.' But she didn't feel the need to voice it. Instead she just listened for everyone else's opinions. She didn't want to draw attention to herself if she was wrong. Instead she let ehr eyes wonder over the all of the moving pictures. They seemed to have gotten quite the crowd as some photo's had more people than one would think they should have.
