Hatsu's emotions about Jason were still a bit pf a haze before her. Yet as she talked to melody she felt as though they were both one and they same. She was running out of room to scribble down words, but kept on writing, even if she overlapped a few letters a bit.

Hatsu dropped the kunai on the floor, and reached for her chest. grasping her kimono she would recall what had happened one last time. 'Was it right?' she would ask herself. →→ Once more the female remained rigid, unmoving and appeared to stare at the ground. Finally she spoke again, but this time...this time her words were nearly a whisper, as if afraid to be overheard. "Jason died because of the stupidity of you genin. He was innocent of all this. He knew nothing of-" Here she cut off, her expression tense and tight. When no stirring came from Midgahs, she continued in that same broken voice. "I killed because I craved it. Pain, torment, lust...they brought ecstasy to my soul. But Jason? Innocent. Looking back on it now, did any of it matter? Peace was a foregone conclusion if we failed. And we failed bitterly."
As she had feared, yet was denying in her mind for so long now. She was very much at fault for what had happened to Jason. Hatsu's mind shut out the rest of the world. Her breathing shortened, sweat beading up on her face. she started shivering slightly, and stayed silent for a several minutes.
Slowly calming herself down, Hatsu eventually brought herself back to her senses. Melody had finished talking quite a while ago, yet Hatsu had not heard a word of it. She put her hand on her forehead, thinking about what to do now that she had sorted out her memories. Trying to talk once again, she would attempt to mutter a few words. ". . . . What . . n-" Before she could finish her question, Hatsu would break out into a coughing fit. Dropping the kunai onto the floor, it would make a large clang while she covered her mouth with her hand. Once the coughing had stopped, she would remove her hand as red trickled down her arm. Blood.
Talking with melody seemed to uncover much of what she needed to find out, but the rest she didn't think Melody could help with. Now there was also the problem of her health to deal with, and as things stood, medical help might be hard to get all the way down there. Returning the kunai to her pocket, she would rise, and walk towards where the sling was, stopping halfway. With a raspy voice, Hatsu would force out a single word, so as not to strain herself too much. "Thanks. . . ." Stepping on the sling with one foot, she grabbed it to help keep her balance. She waited for Midgahs, assuming he would follow.

→→ When Hatsu looked up, it was to see an alarming sight: Midgahs, standing over Melody with eyes looking down at her. A smile, appearing forced into existence, rested upon his face as if unaware of how to handle the situation. Finally his eyes widened, a question implicit in that glare. Yet Melody did not seem afraid, instead taking on a forlorn, sorrowful expression that left tears in the corners of her eyes. "Kid. You know nothing. But going silent on the world? It just proves to it that you cannot handle a thing. Be strong, and let no one tell you how to live your life. Live it as you desire."
→→The words left her mouth just before she collapsed, her eyes starting to bleed from the corners. Seemingly uncaring, Midgahs made his way back to the lift and shouted once in an odd tone. Instantly, the lift began to rise, with Midgahs crouching and preparing to leap upwards.
Hatsu stopped before getting up to find one Midgahs looking down on her. She would wait, and Melody would speak, in her normal broken voice. She was right. Hatsu shouldn't have just been waiting around for someone to pick her up off the ground, she should've been doing all of that herself. Thanking her Hatsu would get on the sling with Midgahs and ride it up to the top.
After taking the lift up an ANBU shinobi would greet them at the top, and escort them out of the building. "Thanks, Midgahs." Hatsu would speak in her raspy voice, suffering still from the rust she had inhaled. Cracking her knuckles in front of her she would make her way to the Raikage's office, a determined glare on her face.
