After taking the time to sit down, rest a little, and look over the list of puppet techniques. Junichi finally had the last two techniques that he wanted to learn picked out. Reading over the basics of the techniques, he figured he got them down. Not it was just time to try them out. The first technique would be Gyakukuchiyose Kugutsu (Unsummoning). Calling forth his puppet, Jun grabbed hold of it. Setting him down on the ground, Jun started to preform a string of hand signs. When he thought he had the hand seals finished, he stood there but nothing happened. Running over the signs in his head he realized he had missed out. Time to do it again.

Taking in a deep breath and giving himself a nod, he readied himself again. Focusing this time on the hand seals in his head, Jun started to preform them. Getting toward the end of the string, he gathered his chakra up and released it. Finishing off the last sign, the puppet disappeared in a puff of smoke with no delay. Giving off a small nod, Jun was happy with his work.

[Gyakukuchiyose Kugutsu (Unsummoning) Learned!]
The next technique would be Harigane Hajiku (Wire Snap). This would allow him to attach his chakra strings fast if he had to sever them to get away. Calling his puppet and summoning up a set of chakra strings, he would sever them using Harigane Tachikiru (Forceful Severing of Wire). Watching the strings snap apart and the puppet falling to the ground, Jun got ready. Gathering up the chakra, Jun got ready.

Releasing the chakra, strings blasted from his fingers and headed for his puppet. The first attempt though was a miss. Pulling them back, he gathered the chakra once again. Taking in a deep breath, Jun released his chakra again. Sending the strings forward in the blink of an eye, they attached to his puppet and pulling back, his puppet jumped into the air. Smiling he dismissed the puppet. It was time to train in the art of ninjutsu. Gathering up the stuff, he would head for the scroll room.

Getting to where he needed to go, he exchanged out his scrolls and grabbed the ones he needed. Heading back to the training, he pulled out the Raiton scroll. Opening it up, he looked over the selected the first technique he wanted to learn. It only made sense that he learned Teikou no Kuntou [ Electrical Resistance Training ] first. Gathering up energy, Jun started to convert it into Raiton chakra. Feeling the shocks dance across his body, he winced in a pain a little bit kept it up. As he did, the feeling of pain started to die down. After a few more minutes, he let the chakra dispel not really feeling the pain anymore.

[Teikou no Kuntou [ Electrical Resistance Training ] Learned!]
The next technique that he wanted to learn was called, Nagare Tensou no Jutsu [ Current Transfer Technique ]. While he might not always be fighting with a weapon, it could come in handy. Pulling out one of his kunai, Jun started to gather chakra into his hand and turned it into ration chakra. Letting the chakra come out of his hand and onto the kunai, the blade was swallowed up. For a moment, Jun thought he had the technique down, but the chakra erupted into a fury of sparks. While it seemed to have the desired effect, nothing came in contact with the kunai. Jun would try again.

Taking in a deep breath, Jun started to collect charka again. Taking another deep breath, he started to push his chakra into the blade. Watching as it transferred, he wasn't going to get to excited yet. A few minutes passed and nothing happened. The chakra was still on the blade. Finding a metal post in the room, Jun walked over to it and slammed the kunai against the pole. The chakra transferred shooting along the pole. It seemed this time was successful.

[Nagare Tensou no Jutsu [ Current Transfer Technique ] Learned!]
The final technique he wanted to learn at the moment was Hachidori no Mure no Jutsu [ Swarm of Hummingbirds Technique ]. Double checking the details of the jutsu, Jun started to gather chakra. When he felt like he might have enough chakra, Jun preformed a hand sigh. Releasing his chakra into the air, he started to hear the pop of the lightning, but that would be about it. After it stopped, no electric hummingbirds appeared. All Junichi could figure was that he didn't put enough chakra into the jutsu. Getting ready, he would try again.

Gathering up chakra again, he would make sure to get a little bit more this time. Feeling like it was a good amount, Jun preformed a hand sign and released the chakra into the air. Like last time, the sound of lightning popping filled the air. Unlike last time, two lightning hummingbirds formed and hovered there. While it wasn't as many as it was suppose to be, it was a start. In the blink of an eye, the two hummingbirds flew forward and slammed into the wall dissipating. He would gear up for one more try and hopefully get the amount of birds needed to pull this off successfully.

Taking in a deep breath and nodding to himself, he started to gather up chakra again. Gathering a little more then last time, he was feeling ready. With a hand sign, he dispersed his chakra into the air. Hearing the popping sound, Jun awaited. Right after six lightning hummingbirds appeared. Giving the command, they shout forward flying for the wall. Slamming into it, they broke apart and disappeared. Jun felt good about his training and was ready to move onto the next set.

The next place Jun would head in the academy would be a special place to train in doton jutsu. After all let's face it, can't train in earth techniques when the ground is always frozen. Getting to the area, he pulled out the doton scroll and looked over it. The first technique he wanted to train in was called Tsuchi Gunjikoudou no Jutsu [ Earth Military Movement Technique ]. It was a interesting technique and there was nothing left to go but do it. Gathering up the chakra, Jun nodded to himself. Pushing off the ground, he dived right into the earth. As he did, he expelled his chakra and the earth swallowed him up. Appearing he dusted himself off a little and was ready to move on.

The next technique he would work on would be the Gou no Doro [ Mud Moat ]. It could be a useful jutsu and keep people at a little bit of a distance and it was common knowledge that most people weren't taller the 6 feet. Gathering up the chakra, Jun got ready. Standing there, he clapped in hands together. Watching the ground in a four foot radius around him twist and turn, it looked like he was successful. Placing a foot forward, he stuck it into the mud and watched as it started to sink down. Now he would have to wait for it to go away.

The next technique Jun was going to work on was called Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu [ Double Suicide Decapitation Technique ]. He needed someone or a dummy to work on this technique, so he took a few minutes to find one. Finally finding one, he set it up a little bit from him. Reviewing the details of the move, he was ready to go.

Gathering up chakra, Jun would do what he needed to do and disappeared into the earth. Traveling in the earth he headed for the dummy. Appearing below the dummy, he hands grabbed onto it. Pulling it down into the earth leaving only the head sticking up, Jun jumped out of the earth. Looking at the dummy it seemed to be a successful training. He would take a little bit of a break before he continued.

Akatsuki looked at the others in the academy training. He then needed to do the same but he needed to do it somewhere where he couldn't hurt someone. So he walked into the forest near the academy. He put his stuff down so he could train, he also needed to get going to his mission as well.
Akatsuki needed to learn one of the basic and hardest techniques in his bloodline. He opened the scroll to read the jutsu outloud."Bakuton: Baku Sukin - [ Explosive Release: Explosive Skin ] This style is what defines the Physical Method. It allows its users to cause explosions by pressing and pulsing their explosive chakra from their skin. Although born into a method, a Bakuton user must better develop their particular attribute before progressing to more established techniques. "
He concentrated on his hand for a while.. And if he did manage to pulse it, it wouldn't be enough to do anything with. And then with the explosive skin covering him. It could also potentially hurt others that try to attack him.
He would be fine. Well hours passed by and Akatsuki finally was releasing it out from his entire body. He was able to control and let out pulses of explosions.
He placed his hand down on the ground. He pulsed a large amount of his bakuton chakra out from his hand. This caused an explosion which created alot of dust.
Bakuton: Baku Sukin [ Explosive Release: Explosive Skin ]

Akatsukiwalks up to a training dummy. He then concentrates his explosive chakra into his pointer and middle finger. He then makes contact with the dummies wooden arm. When he does make contact he releases an explosive charge which left some burns and damage to the wooden dummy.1/1
Bakuton: Poppu [ Explosive Release: Pop ]

Description: A skill used mostly for disarming an opponent, but can also be used for typical combat purposes. The user will first concentrate their explosive chakra into their index and middle fingers. They will then attempt to 'poke' the target's limbs, typically the wrist when attempting to disarm, releasing a small explosive charge. The explosion is not very powerful at all, but it can still singe and offset when executed properly.

Akatsuki opens a scroll to read his next technique. He reads it over to fully understand it. Once he does he closes the scroll and puts it away. He then gets ready in front of the dummy.1/3
He focused on his arm trying to push his chakra into it. He takes breaths while focusing on this. He then goes out and tries to chop the dummy but no explosion happens. He sighs in disappointment but tries again.
Akatsuki takes a breath in as he gets prepared. He feels his explosive chakra flow through his arm and reach his hand. He extends it out and slaps the dummy shoulder. He then releases an explosive charge.3/3
Bakuton: Bakuno [ Explosive Release: Detonate ]

Description: The user slaps or chops his/her intended target with a simple chakra enhanced hand, releasing an explosive charge on contact. Because of its simple method, low cost, and effective results, this is a more commonly seen Bakuton technique.

Akatsuki once again stood in front of the dummy. Pulling out the scroll once again to see the next technique. After reading it throughly he nodded and closed it. He stood in front of the dummy prepared to do the jutsu.1/3
Solis raises once hand towards the dummy. This would be different than the other techniques. He needed to release the explosion on the enemy he would need to send it out as a shockwave. He felt his explosive chakra swirl around his one hand. 2/3
He then attempted to release it in a wave but all he heard was a pop. He shook his head to get rid of the though of the recent failure. He had to concentrate on what he was doing. He did the same as before and held his hand to the dummy. He then released his chakra and the blast caused the wooden pole the dummy was held up by to crack.3/3
Bakuton: Baku Shuuha [ Explosive Release: Explosive Wave ]

Description: Rather than making contact and releasing the explosion upon the enemy, the user will stop their hand about two feet from his/her target. At this distance, the user will quickly pulse chakra through their hand in order to create a short-range withheld blast, roughly the same width as the user's palm. The blast travels about three feet, but the focal point is at its center.
After finishing with what he wanted to do Akatsuki picks up his things and heads to the gates of the village.

Watching the ground close, he was waiting for something to happen. The ground started to move, however, it would due much other then bulging up a little bit. Standing there, Jun ran through his head thinking what he might have done wrong. With it figured out, he would get ready again.

Finishing up the last one, he was ready to give it another try. Releasing his chakra, jun watched the ground in front of him. The ground started to bugle once again, but this time it would be different. Breaking out of the ground, a few stone spears shot up into the air. Looking on, Jun was happy with his work.

Genesis noticed the mans politeness and took that as a good sign. Hopefully things went well, this one was the only one they were sure they could use"Yes you may. You have been drafted to join a team you see, along with myself, by the Yukikage himself" He would let that sink in for a few moments before continuing"This team formed will be the corner stone of Yukikagure's might. We are to be a Strike Force, taking on the missions other teams are not capable off and being on the front lines in war. Know that this is not mandatory, you do have the chance to walk away if you so wish. I have been appointed the team leader, and although your skills will be missed greatly, I will harbor you no ill will if you choose to decline our offer" He was trying to get across to the other that, although this was a great opportunity, the risk would be high. To him, this was something worth doing. . Now, whether the other felt the same was yet to be seen |

❝Shoulder still throbbing where he had stabbed himself to release his Genjutsu that completely backfired, Izaya listened to the last of the girl's song, finding it mystifying and alluring, just like a Genjutsu cast. he couldn't help but wonder if she were a Genjutsu specialist as well? By the way her music seemed to lull him without her having to try, it was a thought. Izaya had no doubts that the music would indeed sound better on a piano, but he refrained from pressing that matter further. After hearing her name, he was just about to reveal his own, but was interrupted when the Yukikage, Keiji, approached the two and began to speak. The question of 'he he was' was one that Izaya thought that Keiji already knew the answer to, and so he held the silence and allowed Michiko to get her words across. Just in case, Izaya turned his body at an awkward angle to better conceal the wound to his shoulder. He wanted no commotion over the slight injury, nor did he want to have to explain the reason behind it. And in the process of it all, Michiko had learned his name without him having to say a thing. It all worked out he supposed. He listened silently to the exchange, keeping his gaze neutral despite the weakness he started to feel from the blood loss. Standing was a task in and of itself as was expected, but he remained standing nonetheless.
It was only moments later after Michiko had finished speaking that Izaya noticed a man with long white hair and a face that lacked common interest arrive at the scene. Izaya was completely unprepared for the man's scrutinizing gaze that landed on the wound to his shoulder. Apparently he had done nothing to conceal the dripping redness that escaped that place on his body. Not moments after the man had pointed out the obvious did the Keiji realize that his words were indeed the truth. Izaya smiled slightly despite himself at the fact that he had managed to conceal something such as this from the Yukikage. He made a note to see just how well he could play the game of secrecy in the presence of the Yukikage, if only to test himself. Hearing Keiji's concern and request for someone to bring him to the hospital, Izaya was more than ready to protest and let it be known that he was fine, but his words did not come as quickly as he had thought them and the white haired man, Hanzo, spoke up before he got a chance to speak. The boy sighed deeply, the sound of his complaint veiled by the wind that passed at that instant. He might as well go along with it, or he would bleed out and collapse. That would have been a sad way to go, especially considering that he had already gotten the permission he had requested to train under Hitomi. He would have to see that through, and that couldn't possibly be done if he were dead.
After a few more exchanges among the Yukikage and a few more new faces that arrived at the scene, Izaya felt himself getting weaker. His feet started to buckle beneath him and he could somehow feel his face getting pale. His head felt light and his eyes were rather heavy. Standing upright was a task. Maintaining consciousness was torture. He couldn't keep himself on his feet much longer. He was about to collapse and give his body the rest it craved when he felt hands reach out and pick him up off the ground where he stood. he made a slight squealing sound that was all too feminine as he was lifted into the air by none other than Hanzo, who had been the one to volunteer to bring him to the hospital. He didn't even look around at any of the faces he knew would be peering at the scene, feeling embarrassed beyond words. He simply closed his eyes and fell unconscious, drowning out the image and blocking the stares of the other Genin, Michiko, whom he still had business with. That however would have to wait until he finally got out of the hospital. In a flare of dramatics, Izaya squirmed in Hanzo's arms until he was able to look up into his face properly. With a quizzical eyebrow raised, Izaya used the balls of his eyes to indicate that he wished to go now. The sooner he got it over with the better. 'Curse it! I'm too light. I suppose it can't be helped...' And so he waited.
