Carnival of the Damned [Closed for the season]

"Oooh, the aggressive type!" Rosemarie giggled, rather entertained at how Cain growled at her and the woman beside her. She was almost tempted to 'tease' the cannibal and play a game of chicken with her hand. Not quite at that level of cockiness just yet, however, she instead gazed in for a little longer - wondering when she'll next get to see him shred something to bits.

Soraya felt another woman beside her and at the same time heard whatever was in the cage growl. She sorta felt bad for the creature being locked up, then again she didn't believe anything should be caged. What was it in there exactly? A tiger, a lion, a bear? Soraya giggled softly at her thoughts to the reference of Wizard of Oz. "Well whatever you are in there it's nice to meet you, though I would rather not have you chomp on my hand." she replied. "And to the woman beside me hello as well." she said.

Walking across the carnival ground's Lee got several looks for the bodies currently draped across his shoulders from people. Mutters about how realistic the carnival was filled his ears which only brought a smile to his face. How stupid human's were at the reality of things around them. Oh well he thought it didn't matter if they believed they were real bodies or not the fact of the matter is two men were killed and draped over his shoulder's soon to be fed to what ever manner of creature would eat them.

Entering the cage room Lee was quickly displeased at the sight. The girl that he had met earlier outside of the entrance and one he had marked for a target to feed on before he had eaten stood in front of Cain's cage. The stupid beast simply growling at them from time to time. "I wouldn't touch him" Lee warned as he walked past them throwing the one man he had suffocateds body into the corner as he walked over to Cain's cage. "Here ya stupid beast more food" Lee said walking up to Cain's cage as he put his hand's on the bars dropping the headless body to the ground next to him. Gripping the bar's he bent them easily open enough to shove the body in before bending them back mostly straight.

Soraya was about to leave when she heard footsteps nearing and the smell of blood overwhelmed her nostrils, then the familiar voice drifted to her ears and she stood up. "I was only looking, I wasn't about to stick my hands in." Soraya commented. That's when the sound of bending metal started and she was very curious, "I've been pondering about you Lee, you are very odd. I know you work in the carnival but something about you intrigues me." she said, looking down at her feet.

Laughing a bit at her words he licked the blood off his hands that had been from moving the bodies enjoying the smell that filled his nostrils. The smell was no longer driving him to the edge of madness simply helping to show he was fully satiated by his prior feeding. "Odd you say" he asked looking at the other girl as he flashed her a fanged grin running his tongue over his enlarged incisors. "I can be intriguing but I would caution not to delve to far into your intrigue or curiosity as they said it killed the cat" he said chuckling the thought of killing the girl didn't really come into his mind anymore after he feeding and now he slightly was disappointed in the fact she couldn't see so he couldn't give her a life altering scare.

Soraya shook her head and looked at him, "Curiosity killed the cat because he didn't know how to handle it. The cat was right to venture out and discover and that saying shouldn't scare someone into not following their intrigues. I'm not going to stand here and say you're one thing or the other because I could stand on broken ground and fall through, but I still wonder who you are. What you're like. What kind of person you are. Around you I smell blood and your skin is nowhere near warm like mine." Soraya stated. "It's true that you could probably kill me, easy and simple. I'm blind and you obviously have good seeing, but that wouldn't be very fulfilling or sportsmanlike on your side. I don't scare easy, Lee." she said to him.

Laughing again Lee turned to face the girl fully as he shook his head. She was beginning to catch his attention blind or not. His attention fully focused on her Lee moved a bit closer making the distance between the two of them all but a few inches. "You read to much into things Soraya, I have no intent nor want to kill you sportsman like or not" he told her waving his hands infront of his face. "I intrigue you, you say, but at the same time I confuse you upon things that don't seem natural such as smell or felling. Have you ever stopped to think that maybe your senses are betraying you" he questioned her looking to the blond girl in the room for a moment before back to Soraya. "Simply that the blood is my own to help the illusion were trying to put on here along with the feeling of my body" he asked her looking her up and down.

Soraya could feel him step closer and listened to every word, absorbing it. She wasn't one to accept the obvious very often and didn't really think that it was all part of this carnival they put on, but it smelt so real. "Well it's not betraying me even if it is an act Lee, I am still smelling and feeling the same things. If you're part of the carnival then I apologize for my inquiries, you just give off a funny sense and I was following it is all." Soraya tipped her head a bit to show respect and give an apology. She must have been thrown off because of the events that took place today, threw her off her usual demeanor. "I hope I have not offended. If that is all there is about you then I will stop asking so many questions." she said.

He didn't believe that she would truly drop the subject but for now her word was enough. His patience with her was starting to wear thing. He had clenched his fist slightly until she agreed to stop asking so many question's. "It's all part of the act. This is a Halloween carnival so to draw the crowds it's got to be realistic" he lied easily now no hint of it in his voice. "It's just an act that were putting on that's all you should know so stop asking so many question's it's not a common thing for me to become perturbed but your successfully doing it" he warned her still trying to keep thoughts of killing the girl for the time atleast at bay.

Soraya's eyebrows curved gently, was this confusion? "Perturbed by some simple questions? If there's nothing in your closet then they shouldn't bother you. Thou Thinketh you pretesith too much." she said, but it was in a teasing manner. Soraya was learning the basics of civil conversation, she was in a social setting and managing to tease. This was a whole new step for her. She had to giver herself props for being so happy, personal achievement for herself right there.

"Simply questions in a large deal can get annoying" Lee warned her again his voice a tad bit more angered as he stood there. Thoughts of simply breaking the girl and feeding her to Cain came into his head for a moment but he pushed them out of the way. She was blind he saw no enjoyment in killing someone who couldn't even see him when they died let alone give the terrified look he so enjoyed. Reaching his hand up he cracked his fingers by flexing them for a moment. It was almost time for his act and he was standing here keeping himself from killing some human.

Soraya lowered her head and felt bad now, emotions were tiring especially since there were so many. When she heard his hand move up and crack she instinctively put her hand out and placed it on his, that cold feeling was there but she pushed it out of her mind. It felt human, she didn't mean rude but this was sometimes what blind people did. Soraya especially loved touching things that she could not see, it gave her a better feel for what was right in front of her. "If you wouldn't mind Lee...would you please escort me to your show? It seems I cannot ferry myself around here." she asked very politely, not wanting to anger him.

Watching her reach out and grab his hand he wondered if she believe he planned to strike her or simply wanted him to stop. It wasn't an important question so he didn't bother asking it rather letting it slip from his mind slowly. "It's not long until it so I suppose it wouldn't hurt" he told her relieved to finally be rid of the questions. His temper tho it had been satiated with his training it was no where near fully gone and she had started pushing close to raising it. Pulling his hand from her's he instead grabbed her wrist the cold feel of his hands passing easily into the area as he turned to walk off. He had left the body of the man who's lung and throat he had damaged in the cage room's simply lying there in the corner as he walked out pulling Soraya behind.

Oh, so this man nearby was one of the workers at the carnival? Rosemarie listened to the conversation quietly, up until after the man agreed to escort the woman beside her to his show. "I'm sorry to interject, but you work here? I must say that you've all done an excellent job with the makeup and special effects. It's invigorating to see how realistically done the gore is. I've never seen something of this calibur." Well, as a fan of the horror genre and the altogether macabre, Rosemarie couldn't help but appreciate how amazingly done everything was. Even the best of the horror films she's seen has never been able to get it quite right.
