Val turned and watched her disappear. "I need to learn that too." He grumbled and tired to follow her, listening intently for her footsteps.

Wincing with each step towards another inn close to where he had paid for Shechina, Rand gratefully stepped through the front door and just dumped another thick gold coin onto the counter. "One room. Immediately. No dinner, but I'll pay through the next week. I just need a place to sleep." As the dumb-founded owner muttered in a state of shock, "The third floor, fourth door on the right," the Mage was already striding along the staircase using the railing to keep his balance. His injuries were throbbing quite angrily following his confrontation with Eris, and he didn't have the patience to admit to himself that he had lost quite badly. Stepping inside his room he simply dropped onto the bed, his right palm cradling his bruised ribs tenderly. "Well, today was fun...But I'm done for the night." Sighing against the clean scent of the well-kept sheets he slipped into a short nap, letting the natural pace of his body recover on its own during his slumber.

Leigh-Ann found a food vendor on the street and bought some kind of meat stuffed bread with money she earned by using her powers to make wreaths and flower bracelets. She'd gotten quite good at that, but she couldn't seem to master attacking. She sat in a less crowded part of town and ate distractedly, using her powers to make a nearby flower bloom and close back up with the opening and closing of her hand.

As soon as the Fire mage had left the room he carried her to, Shechina's pain disappeared. "Stupid idiot," she muttered. "Too stubborn to admit how badly he was hurt. The one part of my powers that I hate. I'd better be able to block that soon." She swung herself out of the bed and headed back out of the inn. She needed to find Avani before the sun set. It would be too hard to find her after. Coming to a part of the town that wasn't quite so full of people, Shechina saw the young Earth mage from earlier. "Um, excuse me," she called, walking up to the girl. "Have you seen an Earth mage that looked about my age? She has green eyes and long brown hair that she wears with vines and flowers twined through it."

“The trees that whisper in the evening... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...”After a few moments, the Huntress steps back out of the shadows. "My apologies, I had forgotten you cannot shadow walk.", she says with a small sigh. "A tad annoying since you cannot follow me like that and I wish to remain unseen for the present..." She falls silent as she tries to come up with another way of getting to the other Guardians without causing to much of a ruckus with her presence. “Sing a song of sorrow and grieving... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...” -'Moonlight Sadow', Mike Oldfield

Val pulled his bag off of his shoulders and reached into the mouth. Taking out a cloak, he tossed it to her.

“The trees that whisper in the evening... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...”The Huntress catches the cloak, looking it over quickly before putting it one and making sure the hood covered her hair and face. "Thank you." She then leads the young Guardian in to the town, trying her best to locate the other Guardians she had sensed while trying to ignore the normal mages. “Sing a song of sorrow and grieving... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...” -'Moonlight Sadow', Mike Oldfield

Valiant followed close behind, examining his crystal clear sword. The dirty water had become blue within moment of the boy willing to stop a fight. He needed to remember the feeling he felt to stop the fight. It was the key to opening up his powers. The moment was too small though, he couldn't remember how he felt.

Leigh-Ann looked up at Shechina and thought for a moment before saying, "No, I haven't. I haven't run into any other Earth mages in some time." She finished her food and stood, asking, "Are you alright? You took quite a spill earlier."

“The trees that whisper in the evening... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...”The Huntress pauses briefly, managing to somewhat get a sense of where the Guardians were located. After a moments hesitation, she heads towards the sense of intense heat that the fire Guardian gave off, sending a thought towards the spirit girl.
"Girl." “Sing a song of sorrow and grieving... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...” -'Moonlight Sadow', Mike Oldfield ((Her thoughts are silver))

Val walks on past her, unawares that she had stopped. He kept trying to reconnect to that moment before his thoughts began sensing little tingles, as if some energies that were let out of a battle were trying to find refuge somewhere else.

Rand stirred from his rest after what felt like hours but had been merely a few minutes, his hand clenching to the side of his ribs even in his slumber. He shook his head to and fro to keep his thoughts clear, tilting his gaze to inspect his injuries. The bruises had darkened completely in bloodied black and blue splotches, his fingers running across the broken surface of his skin to clear away the embedded pieces of rock. Gritting his teeth to bare it, he rose onto his feet while simultaneously ripping out the three pieces of stone from his body one after the other. Releasing his held breath in one long exhale, the Fire Mage stepped out of his room to head downstairs, his stomach rumbling angrily for a meal. Guess I needed dinner first after all...

“The trees that whisper in the evening... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...”The Huntress glances back at Val sighing softly before walking back to him and grabbing his arm gently. She then starts walking back in the fire Guardians direction. She stops in front of an inn, frowning slightly behind her mask before walking in. “Sing a song of sorrow and grieving... Rand turned his head at the sound of the inn opening forward to allow a new entrant, his eyes narrowing at the unfamiliar sight of the silver-haired Huntress. He feigned a smile against the pain in his ribs, stepping forward to introduce himself to someone so obviously beautiful. "Why hello there. You are quite-" His voice cut off as he felt the heat of her presence, recognizing her the same manner in which he had detected Eris as well. But the feelings he could draw from her presence far differed to that of Eris's. "Wait...You...You're a Fire Mage. But...You don't feel like a normal one. Who are you?"

Shechina chewed her lip. "Darn it." Then she gave Leigh-ann a self-deprecating smile. "Yeah, I'm fine. That Fire mage wasn't, though. One of the dangers of being a Spirit mage is that I feel others' pain when they're close enough to me, and--what the huh?" She looked around, hearing a voice. Seeing nobody else nearby except the young Earth mage, Shechina realized what she'd heard was a thought. Like someone was looking for her, and it wasn't her cousin. The mental voice was unfamiliar.
