**Mortal Recoil (Blood's Trial, Part II)**(finished)

[Serenla the Cat]

Rain sighed happily, not only with relief at having a useful resource, but knowing she had friends left.

"Thanks, Frost. Yeah, someone who lives here or something, Draid, took me to Archimedes. By the way; he said to tell Swift something. Figured I'd tell you as well. Said not to send Rose unless she was running a fever. So how are thigs going in the castle?" she said pleasantly.  

[Uncle Sciz]

After discussing some plans with Blood, Sciz decided to visit Draid. He walked up to Draid's door in the castle and knocked. "'Ey Draid, you there?"

Draid, who was walking to his room after escorting Rain to the medical wing, saw Sciz outside his door and heard what he asked. "Hey, Sciz! It's good to see you. Man, old faces are coming by a lot today. I mean, just fifteen minutes ago, Rain showed up at the kingdom." He stopped, realizing he was trailing off. "I'm sorry... What did you want?"  

[Ryuzki Hygaea]

Roman walks by Frost and Rain carrying his guitar in his hands. "Good day, Frost..Is Snow around?"  

[Uncle Sciz]

"Nothing much, just wanted to ask if you could possibly make a couple of weapons for me. The ones I've been using are getting stale and I feel like having something new." Sciz scratched the back of his head. "So Rain's in the area? Haven't seen her in ages."

Frost smiled. "A lot better than they have been, but I'm not too fond of Blood being here..."

She then looked to Roman. "Yeah, but she's training with Phoenix."

Rain froze, but kept herself outwardly calm. It was crazy how much she wanted to demand where he was, how to find him, and anything else she needed to know.

"Blood? Hm... I thought he died after his whole takeover thing. So he's in the area?" she lied smoothly, pretending not to be too concerned.

well.. Found him, but I'm gonna need to be more careful about this... I need to find him. I will make him pay.

Roman looks at Rain. "He might be at his house by now though I doubt it though it is worth a shot just becareful."

How could he possibly know she was looking for him? She'd merely mentioned it, acting slightly surprised that he was even alive. Rain decided she hadn't acted well enough, and sighed. She wanted to go after him now. She wanted to go make him suffer, but she knew how these things worked. Everyone would know it was here, and even if he could very well earn the death sentence, going to get him herself would earn her as much.

She would be patient, wait a while, find his house. Hopefully Blood wasn't more nocturnal.

Draid leaned back a bit, looking at Sciz. "You know Sciz, just because I do a bit of designing of guns for the royal army doesn't mean I can just do it." He shrugged and then went to the wall, making imaginary lines on it. "That being said, I am an accomplished gunsmith. What type of recoil you used to? Low, medium or arm rattling?"  

[Uncle Sciz]

Sciz pulled out one of his pistols and spun it around in his hand. "Well... I'm mostly used to low-recoil weaponry, but I'm sure I could stand using something a bit harder."

Draid began to think, moving his hands in a little more of a gun form. "Well, judging from the recoil style of your 9mm there, we could do something a little similar to the AA12 or the Vector. Both of their stocks are custom built to lessen recoil. Okay, I'm going to make you a 5.56mm assault rifle with a custom stock and a... Err... Box or drum clip. Banana clips are just a hassle to chamber. I'll throw in an internal supressor too. And... OOH! My own special ironsights! The original Ironsights are usually hard to maneuver, so I came up with my own. This is something I can really get behind! I'll come back to you with a prototype in about two weeks."

Roman sets his guitar down and scratches his head. "Hmmm You could talk to Spyke since he will know for sure if Blood is there or not."

Spyke dashes right by looking for any guards around. "Excuse me sis, Rain nice to see you again."  

[Uncle Sciz]

"Alright, cool. Let me know when the prototype's finished." Sciz turned around and started heading back to his place.  

[Ryuzki Hygaea]

Hunter walks around the town doing his usual patrol while taking a look at his Barret .50 cal. "Hmm sight is a little off...needs some work." He then sighs and looks through it. "******** need to find a guy to fix it otherwise Captain Spyke will be pissed off at me for bad maintenance."
