((Well, the lobby is a hallucination that is unique to every person that enters it. It gives them something kind and gentle to set them at ease, and isolates them by screwing with their perceptions, and then it shows them something really ******** up before it allows them to see the real room. =3 How's that?))

Daniel tore his eyes away from the crude face with some difficulty, wishing to see more of the place before something inevitably happened. He turned to move on and found that Shania was staring into the distance and Ruskie was nowhere to be seen. Eve was also gone. A frown crossed his face and his eyes darted about. Looks like the friendly light wasn't so benevolent after all, he thought. He reached for the dryad's arm, then started as a furious rattling sounded from the walls. The weapons were moving by themselves, trying to get free!

Shania was so engrossed in the colorful leaves that she didn't notice the shift on the floor beneath her bare feet. Only when something cold wrapped around her ankle did she look down, and freeze in place. The decorative stone roots where pulling themselves free of the decorations on the floor. Panicking, her head shot up and she saw glaring red eyes from the dark gaps in the fake tree trunks.

Tarnbel'en sighed. His sympathies went out to her. "We all do." Glancing around did not reveal anything out of the ordinary, but it did appear that they were standing in an alley between walls of two different buildings. What they were for, he could only guess. The elf turned his head this way and that after pushing the curiosity out of his mind, catching only the sound of silence in his sharp ears. So far, it didn't seem like anything was after them. "We should try to make our way back to the others. If they are not there, then at least we can defend ourselves in the open."
