Phoebe's idea made the most sense out of anything, the shaken clone admitted in the midst of this chaos. He was more than eager to follow, thinking the original and his brother clone could at least slow the enemy down before coming up, as well. Things then took a turn for the worst; that honestly seemed to be the theme of this day.
The clones, and Armand, were pushed back, and the man seemed completely unharmed by punch or kick, or blade. He also possessed surprising speed and strength when he grappled the grown woman with that ease. Was this all his special power, Armand wondered. Strength, telekinesis, invulnerability. Maybe they did need those loaded guns. One of his two clones made sure to pick up their rounds before they followed with haste.
The fire escape became the most immediate method of following when the man learned to fly as well. Armand cursed his luck for this ultra-man they were fighting The trio spread out loosely on the roof as soon as they arrived, and calmed their hurried breathing from all this physical stress. At least, they had not been badly harmed. They had been propelled away from the enemy, bumped into walls and each other, but nothing they could yet call dangerous. That might stop if their opponent started firing laser beams from his eyes next.
"A proper gent must demand the pardon of a lady before laying a hand on her; to rough house the woman as you have is unfitting even of a barbarian. Trust in me as I tell you; You have no honour and will be given none here." The Gent spoke sternly and his eyes glared from beneath his black mask. As did the eyes of his two clones. With his powers of mind he could possibly know too much. That was why it was too risky to let him run off, and keeping him captive more so. Death by execution of proper authorities was demanded, and Armand, in his mind, promoted himself to the appropriate title for the deed.

"Sure, and might I say you look absolutely lovely today. Would you like to go out sometime?" Slipspace asked as he made several jumps, setting Chrome down by her boss. He didn't plan on joining Animus or Barbus, but he'd wait for Chrome's answer before disappearing again.
Hemo walked around, waking the Barbus members by getting their hearts to start pumping harder, producing more adrenaline. Finally he walked over and picked up Joker. "All right Boss, time to go home, feel like making any threatening speeches before we leave?" He asked, the other man shook his head and the two began walking away.

"D-d-d-did you just…" Phoebe's face was scarlet, as she glared venomously at the man who was currently holding her. She could have sworn his hands had strayed a little to close to her waist as he lifted her in the hall way.
He had just picked her up like she was nothing more then a rag doll! to be honest she felt like nothing more then a toy at this moment in time, stuck between choices, who to believe, who to trust, which one to help, which one to hinder.
Unlike her brother phoebe had never seen things clear cut, there was always an area of grey and currently thats all this fight was at the moment an area of that same dull colour. She didn't know either of these people or their motives in all actuality, one had turned up at her door and the other in the hall way.
The slight change of lighting had lifted that mind numbing fear that made her so docile and dazed in the hall way. the pale lighting now allowing her a first glimpse of 'gentleman' holding her.
With a growl of frustration Phoebe began to wriggle violently in Verloren's grip, not quite sure if she was objecting to being carted around like a china doll or because she found him to be, mildly (and very begrudgingly) attractive. "Drop me then" she challenged, her voice not as hardened with conviction as she had aimed for.
The loud thud of the fire exit gait being kicked open only added to Phoebe's mounting frustration and as Armand(s) stood, trying to regain their breath from the hurried climb there was a loud shattering of glass along the front of the building. In seconds rose vines wound their way up the building and over the edge of the roof, large thorns leaving deep gouges and cracks with in the concrete. "I'm currently sick of both of you so if you don't mind. Bugger off the pair of you so I can continue being normal!"

Asura groaned in annoyance from being srrounded by people doing NOTHING. however, if Chrome hadn't set those bombs, he'd probably have a snapped spine. "Chrome.... Madeline.... Change of plans. I got the info we came for. It may seem like a loss.... with no new members.... But we've won this battle, and assured victory in the war.... Let's go home." He staggered once he got to his feet, and glanced at Slipspace, not caring what Chrome did. Whether or not he joined, he was now closer to their side.

((Also, Aya. You put one of my characters in the wrong category. You put my villain in the hero section.))

Verloren was starting to develop a headache, which was a bad sign. The last time this happened was when he had a fever, and he unconsciously made a nearby water tank implode. Such powers going wild was the last thing he needed. 'less telekinesis... more composure.' he thought, knowing that using his telekinesis to that extent was starting to take an unusual toll. Still, he stood up strait, not willing to show weakness. "I apologies for my rudeness," he said, seemingly sincere as he slowly put her down on her feet. He then turned and looked at the plants. "How lovely. I'm assuming those are yours?" He asked with a small chuckle.

"Phantasmal Rose." Armand called from where he stood, in a stern tone of voice, almost as if the mere name were a command to the girl. The man may have continued, had not one of the clones offer silent reluctance by placing a hand on Armand's shoulder.
That same clone turned to follow the second as they went and began to descend the fire escape back down. Armand became torn. Torn between what the lady wanted, if in that case she could really defend herself, and his promise to never again leave the heroes behind in their time of need. The Gent looked away. Like the clones, he truly did think this over now. Phoebe's powers were not to be underestimated, and the fool that still stood so close to her, trying to gain sexual favors or whatever else, was going to be torn up by barbs and torns soon enough.
((Time skip +1. I think it should be a timeskip of a single day, let people return to their hidey holes yet still leaves the current events as a point of conversation. :3))

"Let's getcha patched up then, boss!", Chrome said lovingly, pulling Asura up by the arm as a car approached to pick them up at Chrome's earlier instructions. She made no answer to the young man who had saved her though she turned to him with a light blush coloring her slightly clueless visage. She then forced a laugh, grabbing onto Asura tighter to keep him from staggering. "No way! I'm taken. But we can meet again if you join Animus~!", she said with a playful wink as she guided Asura steadily to the car seat. The hired help finally came to help with transpo of the survivors. It's amazing what civilians will do for the right price. And these ones were bribed high enough... And threatened. Chrome got in the car and closed the door behind her as well, still smiling at Ace even while clutching at her boss' arm. She'd be dead if it weren't for the chap, she figured. Might as well show him a little civility. Even if it was uncommon for villains.
VoltEdge nodded, following Serene where she might go.
((OOC: K, guys. Let's timeskip to the next day. You guys can post. But I might after this if I wake up and no one's posted yet. Sorry. I feel a little hungover from the loud music and the strange, awkward dancing. It's hard to post a grammatical post when seeing stars sweatdrop
Welcome to the guys whose profiles just got accepted btw =3= ))

Coil walked through the battlefield, the bodies that littered the streets began to stink, but he didn't care, he just moved on. The sooner he reached the Animus base, the better.

Not likely. Ace thought to himself and teleported away. He would spend the rest of the day doing whatever he could to entertain himself. Ah the life of a Rogue, no strings attached and no sides to cross, except for all of them of course.
"Hemo, you and whoever else take charge, I'm gonna take a nap when we get home." Jack said simply and yawned, he was infamous for his long naps, so much so it was a miracle he was still the boss at all.

The following morning...
"Hey, boss. Whacha planning today?", Spike asked, playing with a lighter. The result of yesterday's battle wasn't all too clear due to both sides retreating shortly afterwards. Still, it wasn't abnormal for the two factions to fight two or more days in a row, with surprise attacks coming from here and there. The two sides seemed equally-matched, almost. It was only the new recruits that made a surprising difference in each battle. And still, many refused to join either faction because they found it pointless despite the persistence of these villains that the city should belong to them. One would almost miss the brief period after the heroes' fall and before the villain faction split up. Sure, there was mass carnage and social crime happening everywhere, but it was nowhere near as bloody and constricting as the current villain-to-villain face-off. Even so, it was nowhere near as grueling as the hero-to-villain war that broke out. But what would happen now if the heroes were to resurface and the villains' numbers dwindled with their 'champions' on opposite sides? Would the two factions join forces once more to once again push down the heroes? ...Or will it be a three-way battle deciding the fate of Verone? Only time will tell. But it was quite interesting to note, even for one not so bright like Spike.
Some people don't go home at all. Some spend their everyday lives in the confines of the Animus HQ. One of those dedicated few was Chrome. She stepped out of the makeshift sleeping room (as one might call a bed space not their own but frequently used) in her silk nighties, totally ready for the brand new day. She looked a little different without the makeup and glasses but still lovely. She yawned as she got to the lounge, accidentally ruffling her hair a little more with a scratch of the head. She then smiled impishly once more and said in that bright, piercing (..and annoying) tune she always had, "Rise and shine, Animus~!"
VoltEdge had dozed off wherever Serene had taken her. She was an experiment but she was also still human, requiring food and sleep. She was a little surprised to find a blanket around her and looked around curiously, wondering where she was.
