Gareth advanced down the hallway with Martini following quickly in suit. Children were now flocking down the hallways- something he had completely unforseen. Many of the teachers were also armed, oddly enough. This would normally be good under any other circumstances, except Gareth was in a black leather trench coat and was carrying a sawed-off shotgun. Therefore, he looked like a cultist to every teacher and student with a gun. He was advancing down the hall when a teacher ushered students out from around a corner, not even looking forward and blind firing at Gareth, a .45ACP round hitting him in the thigh. This was, of course, followed by Martini shooting the teacher in the head before she caused any more damage. Luckily, Rain had somehow forgotten or had just flat-out not given the students guns, so they all retreated back into what Martini and Gareth at the time believed to be their classroom immediately with a bunch of screaming. Gareth held his wound and grit his teeth in pain, his hands making their way to his machete. He slowly slid it out of the sheath and cut his forearm, being sure to stay away from anything special.

Quick Science lesson for anyone who has no idea for why Gareth did this: The human body responds to immediate pain more often than it responds for serious pain. So if your leg ends up being injured and you still have places to go, purposely hurting yourself to a certain degree elsewhere will trick your pain receptors to focus pain more on that area than the more serious area. Therefore, after cutting himself, Gareth was able to get up and limp his way to the Library, where he had heard a loud noise. "Let's hurry up and get Seth the ******** out of here." He said, biting back pain on the f's.

"Aye." Martini responded, walking up to the teacher's corpse. He noticed now hat she was wielding a Sig Sauer m1911. He wasn't much of a gun nut, but he knew that Sig Sauer made great guns and he also knew that the 1911 was one of the best gun models around, so he bent down and picked up the gun, wiping off the blood and bits of teacher brain off of it before sticking it in his inner vest pocket. He then turned around and jogged back up to Gareth.

On his trip around the school searching for the brothers, Sciz stumbled across a teacher missing quite a large chunk of their head and a trail of blood leading down the hall into the library door. He opened the door to discover Martini and Gareth, the latter having blood running down his arm and legs. "No luck finding Seth?"

((She only armed a teacher at a time, genius. Giving it to them while she was escorting them out, then taking it to give to the next teacher.))

((Your post only said that Rain followed the group, not led. Understanding how students walk from one place to another in long lines, I'd guess that turning a corner as a class would mean the teacher would see first, then the students, then Rain. Even if they were in a big group, it'd still be at least three students thick, so the same principle would follow suit.))

Ella grabbed the boy and dashed in the direction of the castle, leaving Pheonix to fend for himself. She felt guilty for ditching him, but since her life was at stake, she figured it was excusable.

Phoenix hissed as the bullets fired at them, removing his bangle slowly and firing a stream of fire from his hand, singing the cultists that had fired at them to ash. "Run!" He yelled, slipping the bangle back on and ushering the kids forward, following behind them. "Hurry! To the castle!"

Hollow sat in the corner of their hidey-hole, twirling a knife and seeming unfazed, doing nothing to help as she whistled a tune.

((sorry for taking so long and apologies for the following s**t tier posts if I manage the time. ))

Rain groaned as the teacher fell and students screamed and began to scramble. Her voice went unheard over their screaming, and Rain gave up, pointing the last few to the nearest exit. She had seen Gareth and Martini, and ran after them towards the library.

Kat gave him a look, and roller her eyes. "You do realize that I'm not under your command, yet, right?" she asked, and headed straight into the library. There weren't too many cultists, but more were heading in. Someone had caused quite a ruckus. She groaned, and began firing off arrows as fast as she could from good cover. She had a gun. She could be USING that gun right now, but nooooo, said Mat. She'd be in enough trouble as it was should they find her emergency stash of weapons, let alone a gun included.

Serenla heard yells, groans, and thumps as bodies hit the floor, and gave a deep sigh. Under the cover of gunshots she was able to breath a tad bit easier, though she was still terrified. She could hardly see what was happening; she wondered if the cultists were merely killing rather than being killed. But then she heard the slightly familiar thud of an arrow landing in something firm but still soft, and thought that she might just get through this.

Ryu nods agreeing. "True you are not under my command yet but for now just try not to get kill or do too much by yourself." He then notices some familiar faces nearby. "So they are here too, Gareth, Martini and Sciz." He then looks at Kat. "Looks like we have some back up so lets rescue whoever is in the library from the cultists." He then runs in managing to avoid getting hit by the arrows and takes down some of the cultists using the martial arts the Royal Guard learn. He then looks around hoping to find the student or teacher in danger. "Its safe now most of them are either knocked out or dead, just run out and get behind the girl with the arrows while I scorch the cultists to death." At this he then creates a fire sword and stabs one of the cultists with it killing him.

I can't even respond to this level of stupidity right now, I'm sorry. Like... God ******** damnit. I'm just... trying not to get kill right now.

Gareth was slowly limping forward, his eyes dead set on the library door on the far side of the hallway. One hand clutched his thigh, trying to stop any bleeding as best he could considering that he was still trying to move in general. The other hand waving back and forth at his side to try and make him go faster when Martini slipped the m1911 out of his vest pocket and handed it to Gareth. Gareth stopped a moment and leaned against the wall to put pressure off his thigh as he cocked the slide before continuing down the hallway. As they got about halfway there, Jarkoven rushed from the right side of the hallway opening and pushed open the door of the library, with his .38 special pressed against the back of Seth's head, whom he had in a tight headlock "SETH!!" Gareth yelled, picking up his pace. Martini raised the rifle to try and take aim at Jarkoven, but stopped himself out of fear for injuring his nephew. They both advanced forward as quick as they could.

"Excuse me." Jarkoven began as he rushed through the library door with Seth in hand, a .38 special pressed tightly against the boy's temple. He looked at Spyke and the girl with some sort of animalistic rage building behind his eyes. He could remember every moment of his burning, and always had the mask so that others wouldn't see the red remnants of flesh he called his face. His lips curled into a snarl behind his mask as he began to sidestep out in front of Spyke and Kat. "Hello again, Spykie. I really hope you don't mind that I make a clean getaway through here, do you? I'm sure the brat would." He said with a disgusting laugh as he and Seth began to pass the two, making sure Seth was in the way of himself and Spyke.

((Ok that was sudden but thanks for the idea for a quick fix.)) Ryu ignores the girl hiding and turn his attention to Jarkoven for the moment. "Jarkie, so nice of you to show up." He then give a somewhat twisted smile. "So hows the face? I hope its not to burnt after our last encounter." He then has a fire sword at the ready. "Yeah I hate to break it to you, I don't do the clean getaway routine or hostage situation...seems for some reason I tend to break a lot of rules and get yelled at by the prince." Ryu then point the sword at Jarkoven. "So here is the new plan I kill you and the boy and I win, ok?" He said in a twisted way of joking.
"You got no problem with that right?"

Jarkoven gave a light chuckle as Gareth silently limped into the room through the open door with Martini aiming over him at Jarkoven, then to Spyke, then to Jarkoven again. "I got a problem with that." Gareth choked out before taking a halfhearted aim at Spyke. "Take one step and you kno-"KABOOM!!

Another mass explosion in the school caused an entire wing to collapse on itself along with all the kids, cultists, SWAT personnel and anyone else in the wing. The explosion shook the whole building, and caused many to lose balance and fall down, Gareth included.
"What the ******** was that?"
"What the ******** was that?"
"What the ******** was that?"
"What the ******** was that?"
They all said in unison, with Seth being the only immature one to follow up with a quick "Jinx."

MEANWHILE...

F.E.A.R. stood outside the highschool, listening to the screams of everyone as the right wing crumbled. The bomb went off much better than previous calculations had predicted, but that was an acceptable miscalculation on his part. He booted up his gravity matrix and began to lift off the ground. "GRAVITY MATRIX FUNCTIONAL." was entered in the log scrolling down his visor. The mech then began to type into his forearm keyboard next to his built-in SMG to have all systems work to reinforce external plating. He could feel robotic hands inside of his shell pushing plates up against the outer shell of his body before he charged at the school, busting a hole clean through to the other side and knocking out several support beams along the way.
