The wise sage that gives good advice but is totally ignored by the reckless hero until he has no other option but to follow his guidance, and in doing so, the hero finds that he should have followed his advice in the first place!

The peppy young sorceress that teaches the hero magic and gives him the standard 5 elixirs once he completes the "using magic" tutorial.

The main villians brother is defeated several times throughout the game only to resurface with another 20 different forms to destroy the player with/
