So, I finally made the final design idea for my Sailor Venus cosplay costume I'm planning on wearing to the anime convention that will be happening at the end of next month. Once I get the pattern I need and determine what fabrics I'm going to get and use, I'll be getting started on making it.
I'm so excited! I can't wait to actually get started on it. It'll be the first cosplay costume I'll be making myself. And a real handmade costume... not a closet-oriented cosplay like my past ones (excluding the Sailor Moon costume my Mom made for me).

I know at least two events/activities I'm planning on doing at the anime convention. The voice actor for Ayame from Fruits Basket will be one of the guests. Also, there's apparently going to be a bunch of folks dressing up as sailor senshi and planning on doing a big photoshoot together. So, I'm planning on going to that. It'll be a nice way to get some nice shots of me in my costume ((especially since I'm usually behind the camera myself and rarely get some good photoshoot-like photos of me in my outfits)).
